Overall a lovely restaurant with good ambience and great food. It loses a star for two reasons, one, the toilets could do with some work, the rest of the restaurant is so nice in comparison. Secondly, on the night we came the man seemingly in charge was very rude to his staff and berated them in front of a full room of customers. The servers we had were absolutely excellent to us- 5* service, but the one man in the black shirt publicly putting them down really killed the mood. It made everyone feel uncomfortable and I felt so sorry for the hardworking staff being shouted at.

Our experience was a culinary delight. The vibrant colors and robust flavors of dishes like risotto and the eggplant were a feast for the senses. From the tangy feta cheese to the fragrant herbs, every bites were delicious!

I had booked a table on the restaurant's website for 5pm yesterday, and we(my sister and I) had arrived at the restaurant a few minutes early, soon after we arrived, we were escorted to our table by a very friendly waiter, gave us our menus, but soon them away again, after we said that we had already decided what to order as we had already looked at the menu online, so he took our order, our starter was Spanakopita, which was a traditional spinach and feta cheese pastry pie, and our main was Moussaka, with Rice, and a large Greek salad, with both two bottles of sparkling and still mineral water, with two bottles of lager, and no dessert. Everything about the restaurant was excellent, the service, the food and the vibe in the restaurant, while we were there, so much so, that we booked to come there again next week, which we are looking forward to, so thank you very much to the staff, who made our experience in the restaurant very enjoyable.

The venue is well decorated and staff friendly, but sadly the food just lacked flavour and it felt a little like style over substance. Food looked really good and it wasn't bad as such, just lacked any substantial flavour which meant most dishes felt a little underwhelming. In addition nearly half of the vegetarian options were 'sold out' which meant as veggies we had to limit ourselves to what was left on the menu. This was disappointing considering we were looking forward to trying some of their more exciting options. Could have just been a bad day in the restaurant but sadly didn't live up to what we had hoped based on other reviews.

My wife and I came with our 4 month old daughter and we had an amazing time. The food was excellent. As a half Greek, it was really authentic, but with a twist. We found the mixed mezza to be super tasty and creative, the crispy feta and honey was a revelation. The mixed grill, which i have attached a picture of, had a wonderful variety and everything on that platter was delicious in it's own way. The coffee at the end was as good as I can remember in the best places in Greece. The service was super friendly, attentive and accommodating, and was a highlight for us 3. Unfortunately I was only visiting Cambridge, but if I lived there I would certainly go to the Olive Grove every week. Μπράβο

The atmosphere and food here was really lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I have docked a star because the falafels were certainly not what we’re used to… they’re made with chia and taste a little like mushrooms. If that’s to your taste for for it!

Very cute place. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful to everyone. The food is good, very fresh ingredients and good smokey charring on the meat.

The food was immaculate and all the servers were kind and open. Some of them also spoke Greece and I really enjoyed my conversations. Even if you are not familiar with Greek food or culture I definitely reccomend you to come here. It is a whole experience which is not to miss out on.

Delicious food, really attentive service and lovely atmosphere! In the picture was the prawn saganaki and the feta with lots of bread to dip in our huge bowl of tzatziki. So much food and really generous portions. Highly recommend!

Last minute they squeezed us in...what can I say. The restaurant was cozy, had a nice ambience and was very comfortable. Now to the food...wow...refreshing flavours with the humous dips, portion sizes are generous see the pork chop, juicy tender full of flavour....the largest chop I have ever seen btw. I would include other piccies, but my kids were too busy drooling over their plates. The lamb fillet was flavoursome and perfectly cooked...to top this off my son is a caeoliac and this is the most extensive gluten free menu I have seen. The servers are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful...you can see why this place has won awards...keep it going guys top notch, my next visit to Cambridge I'm going back....

Ate upstairs in a cool, relaxed dining room - a haven from busy Regent Street. Food was delicious. Somewhat pricey but not disappointing for what we paid. Wine was exceptional, and very reasonably priced. Service was ideal. Greek may not be my go-to choice but I would certainly.like to visit again.

It's been not a first visit to Olive Grove. + Great selection of Greek food, olives and wine. Grilled octopus was not the best, but still good quality. (I would probably change the presentation of the dish.). Great wine - we've tried Malagouzia this time. - Table for us been offered only on ground floor. (strange later I've discovered lot's of available tables upstairs). So occasionally, you have to listen when delivery driver's are arguing with staff while waiting for online orders and they keep entrance door open so it's a bit cold and windy. Wooden table been sticky, not sure if it's a polish or table not cleaned properly. No one asked how was our food, no extra drinks been offered but waitress tried to clear our table twice with polite question "Have you finished?" even when our cutlerys still not been indicating it :)

Excellent food, great for sharing. I had a really charismatic and friendly waitress. I recommend getting lots of small dishes to share. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I definitely recommend coming.

The Olive Grove was the perfect setting for my wife's birthday celebration and our first dining experience in Cambridge. Really warm and welcoming staff made us comfortable and got us a window side table. The food was lip smacking and a treat. Thank you The Olive Grove.

If you’re looking for something Greek and appetising this is the right place. Food takes a while to come as it been cooked on demand and the portions are fit for a king. Me and my partner are very pleased with the service and the quality of the food . We would definitely visit again next time we are in Cambridge Area

We went to Cambridge for a 2 night stay, found this place on day two and I went back again on the third day before we headed back home. Food was good, we tried lamb shank, chicken thighs, Greek pizza, were all really good and their pork chop was massive! Service was good, the place was very relaxed but nice. It’s perfect for large group or family with kids and the atmosphere was welcoming but not overwhelming. Would definitely go back again when we visit Cambridge again. Reasonable price too

A good place with friendly staff: friendly enough to let us eat 40 minutes before closing. We had Kofta and Greek salad: pretty much good-looking and tasty. Greek salad is one of my favorite, I cook it myself, and this one was delicious and filling. I would put less oil due to the calorie count, but it's my own preferences, you might find it good. Due to the time, there were not many people,so we enjoyed our time. The only thing, I would recommend changing the owner to renew the upholstery on furniture. No hard feelings, it would give the place more attractiveness it deserves. thanks!

We booked for a group a 14 (only 11 came in the end). We had a great dinner. The food is excellent and the friendly staff is providing a superb service. Will come back for sure!

Really enjoyed our food, healthy portions and really delicious flavours. The service was polite, friendly and efficient. The only down side (which we did discuss with our lovely waitress) was that lighting above our table which was uncomfortably bright. The table next to us felt the same and our waitress kept turning down the pendant lights but they kept increasing in brightness. It’s not conducive to a relaxing evening when you are squinting through a very bright overhead light! Other than that, we were very happy with it food and the service.

Had a voucher for The Olive Grove, so pleased we had it as without it we hadnt heard of the restaurant and we love greek food. Highly recommend, cosy venue, warmly greeted and efficient service. Lovely selection of food and generous portions, left feeling very full. Meat was cooked to perfection, sauce provided with main meal was delicious. Will definately return! Definately add the feta chips to your order!!

Great food. Some confusion with service. Throughout the night had food served to us meant for another table. The mixed grill was a really decent portion, would recommend. The lamb shank was really lovely and tender too.

Randomly dined here for Greek food. The menu offering was interesting as it had risotto. Started with the grilled octopus which was served on this delicious silky fava bean puree, however the grilled octopus itself had a funny taste and it seemed like those vacumn packed ones. The lemon risotto was interesting as it was refreshing but it did get heavy as you ate more.

I think this is my new favourite place to eat in Cambridge. My goodness, the food was amazing. A party of two, we started with olives and octopus, and ended with chicken and koftas on the skewer. Combined with a Greek salad and some garlic and mint sauce we were in heaven. Loved the wine too, this is def a new local favourite.

It's a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. Good portion sizes, good sea food, good grilled chicken. The cacyki could have been a bit better, but nothing horrible. I would eat there again.

A lovely place. Sadly it lacked a little ambience, we booked a table for two and were seated in the middle of a well lit room with not much music ... It felt kind of awkward ... but that said. The food was AMAZING . The portions were large and the food was well cooked and really very tasty. I would still recommend.. maybe go as a larger group and have party 😊

The pre arrival booking was excellent, we had to change the time and that was no problem. We arrived on time and it seemed to be a surprise as they had to set a take up for us, no a big deal. Initial service was good and the starters were excellent. It then took an hour for the main and when we asked for it we were told they were busy serving a large party, the waited then ignited me. The food was good base product poorly prepared with over cooked, dry meat. Very disappointing. The bill had an automatic 10% service charge and despite the poor service they tried to have us as a tip when paying. Such a shame, it has potential but it missed it.

Looks and sounds fabulous but an unfortunate find in a wrap soon changed that! We started our meal and my daughter found a wood louse on the pork in her wrap 🤮. Two members of staff apologised and neither of us were charged. I didn't eat my food either as it totally put me off. A third member, possibly the Manageress said 'it wasn't in our kitchen it must have been on the lettuce', then followed with 'we washed and checked that'. Well it came from. Somewhere in the kitchen and she wasn't apologetic!

The food at the Olive Grove was so tasty and delicious. I had the Orzo with Prawns in a tomato based sauce and it was truly gorgeous, I rarely enjoy pasta dishes out but this was so delicious. Prices are fair and the wine selections are lovely. The service here is also amazing, we were made to feel very comfortable and the bar staff and waiters were all naturally good at their jobs with good personal touches! Would definitely eat here again and was so pleased that we booked here for our trip to Cambridge!

We use to order at home from this place and I have to say that I'm in love with all them Souvlaki. We use to order them for dinner and they are so good. I absolutely love the one with chicken. Really recommended.

An authentic Greek food experience. Clean, contemporary surroundings with a relaxed atmosphere. The tasting experience demonstrated Head chef Joseph Zanaty's passionate flair for his food, clever mixing of flavours which excite the pallette in every mouthful. Highly recommended and will be returning.

I'm really happy to celebrate my birthday there. I loved the nice table set for us, the friendly service, and the fact that they frequently came and asked us if we needed anything. The upstairs seemed to be reserved for us and my friends also enjoyed it very much. Definitely a place to go for special celebrations. Thank you very much for everything <3

Great, intimate restaurant. A little pricey on Valentine’s Day, but the experience was very positive… welcoming staff, excellent food and relaxing atmosphere.
