Really nice eating experience. Far more authentic than your traditional English Chinese. The hot pot experience is great. You get to choose a soup and then choose from a range of items to cook either in the hot soup or on a plate built into the table as a BBQ. It's really good fun. It's an all you can eat buffet and so no doggy bags allowed. Just stay for the experience and eat as much as you can.

Reviewing this restaurant by the essence of its food, it is difficult to find any fault relative to its peers in terms of taste, aroma, appearance, portions, and prices. Simply, this establishment cooks good food at one of the most affordable prices in Cambridge. You get your money' worth here with plenty of options on the menu.

Good Restaurant Good menu with different choices. From hot pot to barbecue to individual dishes to dumplings. Taste authentic. Good services. The staff are nice, polite and helpful. Reasonable price too. Therefore I went a lot of times already. As a remindee, it takes cash only. So don't forget to bring your cash.

Went there for a hotpot. Came a half hour before our reservation and got the table anyway which was very nice. Pros 1. Selection of broths was nice, 5 different ones, from spicy to clear. 2. Wide selection of veggies, meats and seafood for the hotpot. 3. £25 per person for all you can eat was a fair price. 4. Staff were really helpful and offered forks for chopstick-challenged people 😂 Cons 1. Interior design of the place is deceivingly simplistic. Don’t expect extravagant decorations.

Lunch menu offers great value Chinese food. Really liked the hot and sour soup noodles. Update: finally tried the all you can eat hot pot + BBQ and enjoyed the experience. Good range of meats, vegetables and noodles. Great value.

Spring is one of the best places to get Chinese food in Cambridge in terms of both taste and value for money. Their Mapo Tofu with Rice lunch special is only £5! We also tried their Spicy Lamb Ribs (香辣羊排) and Double Cooked Pork Slices (锅包肉) which have a delicious homemade kind of feel to it.

Lovely place - great service and wonderful fresh food. Nice to have a variety of vegan option on the menu. Recommended the tofu soup noodles and the vegetable dumplings 😋

Ordered crispy duck via an online service. What arrived did not resemble crispy duck by any reasonable measure and I'm not sure was even duck. Instead of shredded duck it looked more like diced pork. Won't be ordering from this place or that online service again.

Food was good - great portions but a bit too oily. Hopefully this can be avoided if you let the kitchen stuff know beforehand. The atmosphere was kind of okay. Service / communication wasn't great.

Tried the henan noodles soup for lunch and it was amazing for winter!! The soup was really hot and taste amazing.They increased the price to 8gbp but still worth it.The portion was really huge! I didn’t finished it haha. Definitely recommend

Always 5 stars food and service. Beef soft , melting in your mouth and the spiciness of chicken with chilli just make you want more.

Very disappointed. Potato and aubergine were burnt and taste bitter. Had to throw them away. Can't believe they are serving food like this to customers.

Ordered from Deliveroo. The worst Chinese takeaway I've had in a long long time. Everything was very bland and low quality. The half crispy duck was a joke - the duck was just cubes of breast meat in a box, so it definitely was not half a duck's worth. A crispy duck should be shreddable. It lacked taste and was not CRISPY as per the name of the dish!! The pancakes kept breaking apart, not because they were overpacked but just because they were so frail and dry and pathetic. The cucumber was basically dehydrated. Not sure what sauce we got but it wasn't any hoisin sauce I know of. The beef hofun was bland as a whole - the meat was ok in texture but there was no classic hofun flavour. The salt and chilli wings were the least bland but the skin was soft/soggy. £38 for a tasteless meal. Definitely avoid this place.

Incredible food!!! My favourite Chinese restaurant, great value for money with huge portion sizes. Every dish I've tried has been delicious, I've been at least 7 times now and have had takeaway once, every time I have been incredibly satisfied. Have the garlic chicken, it is gorgeous.

Maybe we got unlucky with our choices but we found the food uninspiring: one-note dishes with almost no extra ingredients beyond those named e.g. beef noodles were pretty much just loads of noodle and some bits of beef. The place was also smoky from the cooking, insanely hot - even with the door open - and there were lots of flies. The staff were friendly.

Try cumin lamb. Amazing. The hot and sour not so good ok.

A small, simple chinese cafe with reasonable prices, quick service, and tasty food, this is a go-to spot in the neighbourhood for authentic tastes. Cash only, down to earth, and no frills, don’t expect romance or charm, but do expect to finish every single dish and leave satisfied. The tofu and aubergine dishes are especially delightful, and wait times are generally quick.

Enjoyed the all you can eat hotpot here. Note that the spicy hot pot base is actually really spicy (I couldn't really handle it). Otherwise there's a modest selection of meat and others

Love the food and lunch price is very reasonable and affordable. Great taste at great price.
