A divine view of Tower Bridge sets the backdrop for this excellent restaurant nestled on the banks of the Thames. Good quality British fare including the broccoli quiche, and excellent sourdough bread. A great tourist spot or weekend brunch spot.

LOW QUALITY NOT RESTAURANT QUALITY- 2 ladies out for lunch, I was asking the waiter how much should we order per person. They recommended 400g of Rib eye. We could only finish half of it :)) so poor advice to start with. The steak inside looked like it was boiled not properly cook. Meat quality is terrible !!!!! Tough and cold, similar to a pub style not restaurant quality that's for sure. Wine is okay, bread is too crusty and lack of flavour . Creamed spinach is okay, not that great, small portion. I tried the bone marrow sauce, not sure if white floaty bit is the marrow ... but it was cold, and I felt like eating lard ))...Adding donation to Ukraine to my bill. Not that I am opposed to it BUT I want to be informed. What charity do you use ? how will you send the money ? etc etc...but saying nothing and just add that to our bill is low and unprofessional. Feel like we were scammed. The great view of Tower Bridge couldn't keep us from feeling disappointed.

28/2/2024-Wednesday. My husband gave me a surprise lunch on our wedding anniversary to this restaurant. This is our 1st visit. The restaurant looking outside view was astonishing. Inside the restaurant will very cosy & private atmosphere. Thank you very much to the servers who give an excellent service. The food is exquisite, especially both our steaks. One is the sirloin steak, one is lamb Chop. They were perfectly done to excellent taste. We would definitely be coming back to this restaurant. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited recently for a private event. The service was top notch, much faster and personal than any of the 5 * hotels. Food and Ambience was good. The view of the London bridge during night is a view not to be missed.

Amazing amazing amazing! Group of 6 dining in. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was on point! The tomato soup was by far the best tomato soup I have ever had, flavorful, colorful, tasteful! I had the lamb with broccoli and thick cut chips. Walking outside can see the tower of London. Just a fantastic dinner overall!

Butlers Wharf offers some of the best views of the Tower Bridge for steak and fish lovers. I personally strongly recommend their burgers, super tasty!

Nice venue, nice food, the starter that I had was tasty, we opted for Sunday roasts (Beef & lamb shank) for our main course which was really good.. the only letdown was the potatoes which tastes slightly old. Oh, and the cocktails packed a punch also!!

It was a very pleasant restaurant with amazing view onto the river and delicious food. I arrived a little earlier and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy although it got busier by around 8pm. The staff are very polite and attentive. I was offered to leave my coat at the cloakroom. The drinks and starters arrived quickly and were very enjoyable. Food was very tasty and fresh. They have some interesting menu with fancy gourmet options as well as more plain ones to satisfy variety of tastes. For mains I had a steak. It was fresh and very tasty. The sauces served with the stake were aromatic and delicious. If you choose to sit outside you will enjoy one of the best restaurant views onto the Tower Bridge. I would definitely recommend this place and I will come back again.

Well laid out restaurant. Good food. Professional and friendly service. Nice to note they are taking on new staff 😊. I'll have to visit again before giving a 5 star.

The saying goes when the view is great you can be blinded by how ordinary the food is. Well not here! Perfect view of the Tower Bridge, the food is perfect and service is hard to fault. I had the fillet medium rare and the only issue was it had to end! Would highly recommend this place and go as far as to say it is one of the finest I’ve had in London.

Give this place a try! Visited last night via the time out promotion and left impressed. The best dinner view in London? Service was excellent. Set menu was excellent, simplistic but well thought out and executed. Would recommend the burger and/or fish and chips. Will be back and will update my review on return.

Great lunch somewhat marred as my fillet steak was overcooked. I asked for medium rare and they brought medium. I sent it back and they had another try. Still cooked too much but i ate it as Georgina had neatly finished her rib-eye! Brilliant bottle of mendoza malbec too! To start I had roasted bone marrow and snails which was excellent. Georgina had the seafood salad which sounded good but they served it on a cold crumpet! For dessert we shared sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brulee. Yum. PS. They didn't charge for the fillet steak, which was good of them. We will return but when the weather is better as it rained the whole day.

Loved the vegan cauliflower starter & the Beyond Meat vegan burger with fries. Prices are ridiculous unless you get the Evening Standard menu - £27 for the vegan pie! Would recommend, if you get the bargain menu

We had a lovely dinner in Butlers Wharf Chop House. We really felt like a burger - and that’s what we went for! Although all the menu looked amazing! The red wine was a also pretty good!

Absolutely love this place. The food was first class and the staff so friendly but always knowing to give you enough space. My wife had haddock and chips whilst I had sirloin steak with creamy mash, delicious creamed spinach and a gorgeous brandy gravy. Good portions and very well cooked food. I would highly recommend!

After a few not-so-good experiences in the past I gave this another try and I am glad to say it looks like it’s improved. It was a week day lunch time so it was fairly quiet but the food and service were very good especially the plaice I had for main They had gluten free bread which was a bonus

Nice atmosphere on the Thames with a view of Tower Bridge. Excellent service. Food was very good. I had the chicken and mushroom pie and a green salad. Had the rice pudding for dessert but I wasn't a huge fan. It tasted nice, I probably just made the wrong choice.

Went there for my birthday and it’s lovely. The service is so good especially by franco and Ares (their pics attached)and the London bridge is just behind that so everything was so perfect. Thankyou guys for making it special. Gonna return x

The best fish and chips(fried potatoes)we’ve had ever in London. The price was relatively high though, the location was very good and the food was hot and wonderfully served.

It was OK. I've had better steaks in so many different places. Unfortunately they were out of steaks feom the board, so I ordered the 350g ribeye from the menu. The pepper corn source was way to runny and flavourless. So bad. It was like a watered down version of bisto. The sticky toffee pudding was again just OK. I like my stp with vanilla ice cream but this came with a dollop of cream. You can really taste the bourbon so if you're not a fan of alcohol then not the best choice. Service was great and food was out in good time. Never felt like we were waiting for our food.

This place is one of the higher priced restaurants in the area. Once you try it, you should appreciate why. The location is great, the staff excellent and the food superb. Pricey wines, but delicious. Weather permitting, an outdoor table can provide a fantastic view of Tower Bridge.

I rarely have reason to award five stars in my reviews. This time I can't think of a reason not to. The reservation, the arrival, the location all excellent. We managed to sit outside (best to request these seats when you reserve) and dined with Tower Bridge looming over us in a good way. We even saw the bridge open its massive bascules to allow tall ships through between the imposing 138 year old towers. We received the loveliest service from all staff at the Chop House and thank them all, including the unseen heroes for a memorable birthday dinner.

Food is okay but overpriced. We spent 132€ for a sirloin beef, vegan Wellington, 2 beers and a glass of wine. And honestly we don’t think it worth it, food was simple. Anyway, we booked a reservation at this restaurant because of the view to the Tower Bridge, which is really impressive. The waiter was fabulous and it is nice that they have a heating system outdoors so we could enjoy the view and the drinks.
