Great place for a walk or use the cycle round the Olympic bike circuit. Plenty of space for the kids. Lots of activities. Great views over to Kent. Nice cafe for food and drink.

Always a pleasure as ever so much for me to come down to Hadleigh with my love and enjoy great time walking through these beautiful and relaxing paths, talking about life and planning on next steps. Every step we takes it seems the trees and their buddy habitants🌳🍁🌿🏵️🐝🐦🐇🐇🐰🐂 give us a kind welcoming. We love it.

The place is incredible, specially for families with kids. Pets are allowed here. So many things all together. You got to see farms various collection of animals with some rare goats. Also you got a historical place to visit. Nice country side walk. You can even see the sea and the river, the view is super nice. Great place to read books laying on grass. However, I highly suggest to bring your own food as the restaurant doesn’t have lots to offer. The quality of food and the service is not very nice. Take your time for a long walk, enjoy the panoramic view, am sure you won’t regret to be there. Another added value is the place is nearly an hour drive from London(depends). I am overwhelmed by the place 😁😁. Enjoy 😉!!

Amazing spot, glad my work friend lives local, took me to all the spots for the best mountain bike trails and jumps. Near Hadleigh Castle too which was cool. Highly recommend and free to get in on some bike action. There are bike hire shops if required.

Beautiful Country Park with views of thr estuary and Kent. Perfect for the whole family and welcome to dog walkers. The Hub cafe offers a great selection of hot and cold food and drinks including vegan options and with wheel chair acces. Large carpark which I believe is pay and display. (My family live locally so I don't need to use the carpark) toilets, bike hire for the bike track available too. Children's play area and skate park too. A great all rounder. 100% recommend. It's wonderful to enjoy the great outdoors of a previous Olympic games site.

Great area for bikers, young and adult. Small courses to practice. Quite a few hills and longer biking courses. Great for a long walk. Great for dogs. Nice cafe for drinks and something to eat. Lots of parking too.

This was a lovely surprise! We expected a basic walk to the castle and found the loveliest of places with so much going on. The children's play area is great with lots of quirky little climbing areas and balance beams for bigger and smaller kids. The walking and bike tracks are well maintained and offer gorgeous views. We went on a sunny, blustery day and it felt quite wild and open. We were walking but the mountain bike trails look fun with options for different abilities, and there is a bike shop with a fixing place too. There are information boards posted along the routes with info about local wildlife and ideas to get active like the animals. The cafe is such an asset. We were expecting the usual overpriced average options and instead they have reasonably priced, carefully prepared fresh food. Halloumi and avocado salad boxes, maze boxes, pasties (incl. Vegan), pastries, cakes and great kids lunch bags (sandwich, babybel, crisps, fruit, juice) for £4. Good tea and alternative milks. The loos needed a clean and were a bit smelly with toilet roll on the floor but there were lots of them with no queuing. There was a baby changing area. All in all a really nice easy few hours spent being outside and active as a family.

Hidden gem with panoramic views over the Thames estuary. Loved seeing the free roaming cows! You can walk through the park to get to Hadleigh Castle which is also free and worth seeing. Parking has a small fee but you may be able to find free street parking nearby if you plan ahead. The park also has bike trails.

What am amazing place. Bike tracks for the casual cyclist and if you're feeling a little daring, decent tracks to test your agility at various grades depending on how confident you are. An immense amount of wildlife to experience and a large area of land to go off and explore walking with great scenery. Benches to stop and rest, take a flask and some sarnies. There's a small cafe there with friendly staff and the prices aren't that bad. I came up from Devon where most of this is pretty much everywhere I go and after driving around Essex seeing mostly buildings, I was pleasantly surprised to see this here and can't wait to come back.

Lovely place. Slight frustration that the cafe won't put coffee in customer's reusable cups but at least their coffee cups are apparently compostable.

This place has a large very good play ground for children and plenty of places for people of all abilities to cycle. Very good parking and toilet facilities. Parking is paid for. The cafe is ok but could do with a wider range of food, there's not much to choose from. The mountain bike course is short but good fun and no additional fee to ride.

Went to the park with my grandson to check out the facilities available for parkour. My grandson had a fabulous time with someone showing him a few moves. He left very happy. The only thing I would say is negative is parking, very expensive £2.50, for 1 hour. To take our children to the park, is one of the few things we could do with our kids that didn't cost money. Now that's taken away too.

Great place to visit very dog friendly, including the cafe. I'm not sure about picnics as there are not many places to sit without getting covered in cow poo!! It's everywhere apart from near the cafe, but only food bought there can be consumed at tables!

Fantastic place for dog walking (on and off lead) bike riding, letting kids chase about. Dog friendly cafe. Toilets. Picnic tables. Lovely view over estuary. Just watch out for the cow pats!!!! Bring towels and flannels!

We had a great day at Hadleigh park. Especially good if you like cycling. There's a very good playground, cafe and toilets. There is plenty of car parking which needs to be paid for at the end of your visit. Our toddler loved riding his bike around the easier trails as well as playing on the playground. Nice place to meet friends with a picnic while the children play.

Beautiful Country Park, great Walking & Mountain Bike Cycling paths. Such a shame about the extortionate Car Parking costs. Essex County Council need to hang their heads in shame here. Not affordable for all.

😐 Slow service. If I have to ask someone to take my order it's usually because I've just been sat down and ignored. Food of low quality. The place looks classy but the food is very 'roadside cafe' and disappointing. Over priced for the quality too

👍 Great meal at Tasty Bites in Benfleet High Road. Staff really nice and polite and offer a great service. Ordered 2 Avacado and Mozzarella salads, 2 Cokes and 2 ice cream cones and it came £28.20.
