My family visited Bure River Cottage for a Father's Day treat after walking past it multiple times. We had three courses, all delicious. Everything was cooked very well and with excellent flavours. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. One of the best meals I've had in a long time, would highly recommend!

Awesome! Excellent seafood, service and atmosphere…the baked Cromer crab, & anchovies (starters), lobster and sea-bass were outstanding! Deserts were great as well!

Fantastic restaurant only serving fish. Our food was absolutely lovely, perfectly cooked. Great wine and nothing was over priced. I should also add that the vegetables were superb with a really nice cauliflower puree. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a great fish restaurant in a beautiful place on the Norfolk Broads. It's very popular so it's usually necessary to book in advance but out of season walk-in is possible. It genuinely only serves fish- no meat or vegetarian option that I could see. Service was efficient attentive and good. The food itself was really nicely done. The flavours are quite delicate rather than being hearty. Don't expect a battered fish or fish stew option. (Based on the menu we saw and food we had) We'll definitely be back soon. Enjoyed a couple of fantastic meals here while staying in Horning. The quality of the food was exceptional and it was good value for money for the quality provided. All staff were pleasant and service was not rushed, which we appreciated. Would highly recommend. Be sure to book in advance, especially during peak season, to avoid disappointment. A must for fish lovers.

Excellent seafood restaurant. Small and popular so do book ahead even out of season. The menu is on a large blackboard that gets carted around the restaurant and presented to each table as they order. I went for local seafood, dressed Cromer Crab (with proper mayonnaise) followed by lobster, both excellent, but there were a wide range of fish and seafood choices to keep all of our group happy. Cozy atmosphere and very good service, so would highly recommend.

I was very excited to take my seafood-fan of a father-in-law here based on the great reviews. I have found Google ratings for restaurants good for predicting places that I like, scores of 4.5+ stars (with sufficient numbers of reviews) rarely fail me. We must have caught the kitchen on a bad day as the lobsters were dried, likely to have been cooked & held. The simple preparation of ‘garlic butter’ shouldn’t need anything other than split open, apply the butter & salamander? The intention to treat a dear relative to a dish they love, but oftentimes unwilling to choose due to the sense that they feel it is too extravagant makes the disappointment all the more keenly felt. The service was attentive and efficient and starters were good. Extensive menu.

The best seafood restaurant, great food with lovely service. Will definitely eat there again.
