I recently visited the Norwich Theatre Royal before attending Stage Two, and my overall experience was quite enjoyable. Upon entering, I decided to grab a drink, but the prices were steep. Paying eight pounds for a glass of rose wine and a bottle of Coke seemed a bit excessive to me. Nonetheless, I proceeded upstairs and was pleased to find many available seats. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional staff at the Norwich Theatre Royal. I encountered numerous outstanding team members eager to assist and provide excellent customer service. Even during busy periods, there was always someone available to lend a helping hand. This level of attentiveness and dedication added to the overall friendly atmosphere of the theatre. I must say, the overall experience left me wishing I were a resident of Norwich. The city itself is a beautiful place, and it particularly shines in its theatrical offerings. The Norwich Theatre Royal seems to be a hub for entertainment and cultural experiences, and I could feel the vibrant energy in the air. It's truly a remarkable destination for theatre enthusiasts. In conclusion, although I found the drink prices higher, the Norwich Theatre Royal provided an enjoyable experience. The abundance of available seats, coupled with the friendly atmosphere and exceptional staff, made for a memorable visit. Norwich is a city that truly embraces the arts, and the theatre scene is undoubtedly a highlight. I highly recommend visiting the Norwich Theatre Royal for anyone looking to immerse themselves in a beautiful theatrical experience.

Great entertainment - came for panto 03.01.2022 and was not disappointed. Very modern building inside which was unexpected. The show was delayed for 30 mins due to a main cast member isolating but there were plenty of announcements. Programmes were £3.50, light spinners £6, light up cat ear Hairbands £4, hand clappers £2. Small bar serving drinks and a small selection of nibbles. Didn't go upstairs as didn't need to. Lots of loos. Helpful ushers. Sat in the Prelude restaurant during the delay. Not serving food/meals. Toilets and lift next to prelude restaurant.

I always love the Theatre Royal in Norwich. The staff are brilliant and School of Rock last night was phenomenal. The only thing I'd say is, you need an Isle in the middle so we are not standing so much and moving coats and bags so often, to let people past.

Was here tonight with the better half to watch Magic Goes Wrong. It was absolutely hilarious! I didn’t stop laughing the whole time! It was clean and tidy, staff were really friendly. My only issue with the theatre is the parking situation!

First time for me at ballet. Enjoyed the nutracker immensely. What a magical performance. I went tonight and saw jack Whitehall. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Looking forward to my next visit with friends and family. Wonderful evening's entertainment and a full house.

Went to see The Drifters' Girl excellent performance. Very accessible for people with mobility issues like myself. Friendly helpful staff made it a very pleasant experience 😊 We also had a very tasty pre-performance lunch in the Prelude Restaurant. Excellent food at very competitive prices.

Another splendid evening at Norwich Theatre. The staff are always happy and polite, the drinks aren’t too over priced either. My only complaint is the seats are a bit small or is it that I’m too big??!! Haha. In my honest opinion it’s nice to have this just on the doorstep. 4 out of 5… always room for improvement.

Lovely, friendly theatre. I have mobility problems and it was made so easy for me. I've joined the "Row K" gang now 🙂 Here's the view just before the start of 2:22, and at the intermission. A thoroughly enjoyable evening from arrival to departure.

Saw Titanic the musical tonight. Seats in row U stalls are strapped for legroom, so after a while, I d got cramp. Certainly avoid this row. Found it hard to clearly hear the vocals at times, as they were drowned out by the music. Overall I'd say this was an average production. Set was basic and could have been more imaginative. Rest of the audience seemed to enjoy it though. Food in the Prelude restaurant made up for the disappointing performance. Well thought out menu. Lots of flavour and well presented. Our group of 6 all commented favourably on how good the meal was. Recommended.

First time here. Staff friendly and helpful. Well kept and clean meeting, bar and toilet areas. "Cher - the musical" was well produced and played out over Cher's career with 3 "Cher's" - one for each stage if her life/career. All 3 "Cher's" were so true to life you had to "Believe"!(see what I did there?) Well worth seeing, if in your area!

We've been to the Theatre Royal twice this year, the most recent visit was to watch Heathers The Musical. Our seats were in the Rear Circle, row R, but even that far back we were impressed with the view (even more so given I'd forgotten my glasses) Pricing at the theatre is reasonable, and not quite as extortionate as London theatres of similar size and calibre. We've always found the staff to be exceptionally helpful. We'll definitely be back for many more shows in the future

It was a year ago now me and my acquaintance travelled to the Norwich Theatre Royal to see the one and only Jane McDonald. I tell you it was an experience to die for. Nothing ever will compare to the immense excitement we shared when Jane was singing ABBA tribute songs. That will be a night to remember and we hope we get to see her again 😝

Came here to see Matthew Bourne's production of Sleeping Beauty, and it was amazing. Staff were kind and attentive, which was especially appreciated as we had my grandma and her wheelchair as well. The bars were well managed, and the chairs were very comfortable. Overall a great place to see a show. Highly recommended!!

Great show, wonderful acting and direction. Set was a bit suspect, perhaps, being able to see cast waiting to come on. Also, very smoky - even Susie Blake was coughing!

We saw Mumma Mia at the Theatre Royal. Superb show; great singers and hilarious in places. The Theatre is clean and attractive. Very well run. Look out for good shows and get along- expensive but worth it.

Saw it in its 13 year at The Palace. This time round the use of digital backgrounds was excellent and i also liked Javerts suicide. Very good and as good as in the 13th year. A First class show performed in excellence. The band were also brilliant and all deserved the Standing Ovations.

Had my first experience here in the Theatre Royal Norwich and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The staff were very helpful and polite and dealt with all situations that arose (not that there was anything major). We were thrilled with the "night of burlesque " the dancers were excellent and the compare kept us entertained throughout. I would recommend this show to anyone (over 18).

Had a great time watching we will rock you. The place very much needs a refurb. The seats are really not comfortable and the sound wasn’t the best.

Love the Norwich Theatre Royal. We saw Les Mis there which was very impressive. Comfortable seats with good views. The attached pic is the view from Rear Circle Row R, seat 18. Easy to get to. A couple of minutes from Chapelfield and a bit over 5 minute walk from The Mall. Already got tickets for a couple more shows.
