A mecca for the Conservative holiday maker. The park is well run and never felt overcrowded. It blends the themes of the novels into its sylvan surroundings with ease. The storytellers are adroit and perform their part with much aplomb. The activities will make the time fly by. Perfectly suited to children between 3-7. 8 at a stretch. Adults won’t be bored either and they run to keep an eye on the brood. An abundance of plastic water bottles suggests that they might want to take a leaf from the YHA and consider selling refillable (?branded) bottles to use with a water fountain.

We had the most amazing day here. All the staff are friendly. The prices are really reasonable. The paths are good for buggys and wheelchairs. My children loved the slides and zip wires. All the adults enjoyed the maizes and climbing frames as well as the children. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Gluten free options available. So much to do, arts, face painting, boat ride, shows and exploring.

Stumbled across this place while on holiday purely by accident looking for something a little different to do with the kids. What a fantastic place. Staff were awesome! Friendly and enthusiastic! The park was beautiful and who doesn't want to play in GIANT treehouses!! The kids thought it was fantastic and even better we got to join in! Loved it and can't wait to go back. It's pricey but well worth it! Best day of our holiday by far.

A truly magical day out for all of the family. Prices were really reasonable and all of the activities once there were included in the ticket price. Food was tasty and very fairly priced and was different to what you'll find at most family attractions (e.g. sausage casserole). I can imagine that if you visited on a really rainy day it would make it much less enjoyable - we had only a couple of really light and brief showers and it didn't detract from the fun in anyway. But there's not much in the way of shelter so you're advised to go prepared! We arrived for opening and left just before closing and we didn't quite manage to do absolutely everything so rest assured there's plenty to keep you busy. When it's busy you can expect to queue at some of the pinch points and for the boat ride (short but fun) - exacerbated by one of the boats being out of action the day we visited. All of the wooden structures were lots of fun and it felt like a really unique day out. Highly recommend to anyone with young children.

We spent the day at BeWILDerwood and the children loved it. There was lots to do including a boat ride, zip lines, fast slides and lots of wooden climbing areas that kept the children busy for hours. There was plenty of places to grab a drink or a bite to eat and there were spaces for families to eat their picnics. We also went to the lantern parade in the evening and the children made their own lanterns and enjoyed a night time walk through the forest. A brilliant day out!

We LOVE this place. Our 5th visit. Now children are aged 15yrs, 13yrs 11yrs and 7yrs. We all had a great day climbing, sliding and riding zip lines and spent 6hours here.

Bewilderwood is a MUST visit place for any parent with young children. No doubt, one of the best places for families in Norfolk. As a dad of 3 kids, (11, 7 and 4) it can be tough to find something that ALL of the kids will enjoy. It all starts the moment you arrive on site. Masses of free parking and a short walk to the entrance. The staff are polite, fun and swift, and you're in the park quickly. You then have the option to take a boat to the park. (Yes, a BOAT.) - It's a nice clean quiet boat that takes you down the 'Dismal Dyke' too the 'Scary lake' - Watch out for the Crocklebog! The park is buggy friendly, with great access for all. You'll need good footwear - Flip flops or open toed shoes are a bad option. The ground drains quickly, so even if it's rained the night before, chances are the ground will be good, firm and dry enough for normal shoes. There are clean toilets which are easy to get to, and plenty of spots to get food and drink. (Take a packed lunch though and save yourself a few quid) The features are very well built, and well looked after. Big slides, long zip wires, den building, a sky maze (which is harder than it looks), plenty of rope bridges and stuff to climb on. There is also a story time throughout the day. The staff are very engaging and the puppets are hilarious. They get involved with the kids and al three of mine really enjoyed it. In the end, we were there from 11am until 4pm and everyone came away with huge smiles. As I said, it's a must visit spot for families in Norfolk. Go go go!

A must visit when coming to Norfolk! Fun for all the family and for the kids to get adventurous, mucky and burn the steam off! Adults, beware for a leg workout climbing around everywhere 😂. Food was really good, had the hotpot which was very flavorful. 10/10 would go again.

This is by far, one of our favourite places to go every time we are in the area. Get ready to bring out the child within and get mucky. Huge adventure climbing frames, den building, zip lines, mega slides, face painting, hourly stage shows, boat rides etc. The kids and i just absolutely love this place, be prepared to spend the day there, we arrived at 10:30am and left at 5pm. We bought packed lunch to have which is what most people did. There's like 5 big adventure climbing frames + smaller parks with swings, slides, smaller frames to climb + areas for younger kids. It was so good to spend the day there. They have 3 sets of zip lines, one of which is for kids 5 and under which is really good. Overall, this should be on your must visit list if you are ever planning a good day out. If the days wet, be prepared to get muddy but if you get the weather right, you'll have an amazing time.

We had a brilliant day here as 2 adults and 1 child (6yo). I can say that I had as a good a time as the 6yo if not better! Plenty of activities available alongside the climbing. Brilliant boat ride. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Awesome! We went as a family for 4, 2 adults, 3 year old and 6 year old. It was fantastically entertaining for all of us. I wasn’t sure if there would be enough for the little one but everything feels so safe and well thought out, there was plenty to do. I love that we could all get something out of it, climbing up into the trees. Everything was included in the price (except for food) which was refreshing. The kids enjoyed all the climbing spaces, face painting and live theatre show. The cafe had plenty of variety and all reasonably priced. There were lots of benches with shade for picnics or cafe food. We arrived about 11.30 and there were plenty of cars in the car park but no queue to get in. The bewilderboat was busy with a 15min wait so we walked the trail instead which was fun as it had plenty to look at. The first area within the park was quite busy and we queued up the tree and round to the slides but after that, it was more spread out and easy to move about. We stayed until closing. Definitely will be back.

Had a really fun day out. I really didn't think I'd enjoy a huge adventure playground so much. Fun mazes and climbing adventures for all the family from 1 to 100. We made crowns at the crafting hat. We learned all about the fantastical creatures who live in the wood. The guy who steered our boat on the boat ride seemed to be loving telling us stories!

My daughter enjoyed every moment of this beautiful enchanting forest in 2019. Storytelling for the children about the forest. Loads of activities you will never be bored. We had intended to stay for few hours we ended staying almost the entire day with the family. Most exciting moment for me was going on the boat 🚤 then you will meet the amazing crocodile Maisie as you cross the lake . Didn’t leave without getting the story book (BeWILDerwood). Restaurant to purchase sandwiches and hot/cold drinks. We brought our lunches to avoid waiting in queues. Highly recommended family day out!!

A good day out and in reality it was largely a series of playgrounds throughout the woods but the kids enjoyed it and that’s all that matters. Storytelling, crafts & a boat ride add to the fun. I would have liked to see the staff/actors linking each of the play areas to the storyline which would have given it an extra dimension. Food & drink were acceptable.

Had a fantastic day out with my family. The kids loved it and I did as well. This place brought out the big kid in me. The facilities were great and plenty of them. The huge climbing treetop houses and mazes were fantastic. The story that surrounds the place had my children enchanted. The staff was friendly and amazing. We had such a fantastic time and will be visiting at least every year. Thanks for the fun guys.

Went to bewilderwood today for my sons 5th birthday and I couldn’t praise it enough. Right from calling to let them know it was his birthday so they could pop his name and age on the welcome board (which he loved so much!), right down to the climbing equipment, activities and facilities. I couldn’t find a single fault, the staff have been so lovely all day, plenty of places to have a picnic (which I do recommend taking because the cafe didn’t have great choice but we didn’t eat from there so can’t comment on the actual food, nice coffee and ice cream though), it really has been a great day. My son has run his socks off, been creative, explored and tested the boundaries of what he has been comfortable with in terms of slides/zip wires etc, and thoroughly enjoyed the process. If we’re ever down this way again I would visit again without hesitation. We also had an 8month old in a pram and got around really easily, and was impressed with the baby change facilities and nursing room 💗 Thanks for a wonderful day making amazing memories.

I’ve always had Bewilderwood on my list of activities in Norfolk when we come up to see the in-laws, but this trip, we made it! We don’t normally have a car but hired one for this journey - and yes, you need a car to get there really. I wasn’t too sure what to expect but I knew it was lots of activities and fun for kids and thought it would be perfect for my 6 and 4 year old. Right from the start, the staff are in character and friendly and once we entered we had a choice of going through the trail or on a boat to the start point of our journey. We chose the boat but the queues were too long (read on for a handy tip about this). Bewilderwood is essentially a series of (mostly) wooden play structures with a variety of different names which help build up the story of the Boggles and Twiggles. There’s zip lines, some pretty terrifying slides, a maze, lots to climb on and much more, including face painting and regular shows. It’s large enough to feel like you’re getting good exercise in just walking about but small enough for it to feel very do-able. We also had the 11 month old with us and while there was less for him to do, he very much enjoyed the baby swings and probably the zip line for younger children too (wasn’t quite sure I trust him not to try and get out midway)… There’s also lots of toilets and a reasonably-priced cafe but you can also bring your own quite easily. Dotted around are lots of little houses. Everything is quite delightful. What makes this place special is two things: 1. How well things are thought out eg toilets right before the entrance - they know some people might have been on a long car journey and be desperate for a wee. This was fantastic. 2. The staff. Every single one was friendly, professional and great at propelling the story of Bewilderwood. I imagine this place is also quite weather dependent. We went on a sunny spring day at the start of the Easter holidays so it was lovely. Can’t imagine it being as fun on a drizzly rainy day. PS. If you get there and there’s a long queue for the boats, get it on the way back. If there’s a queue to get it back then it’s unlikely there’s a queue from the entrance - so take the short walk back to the entrance, catch it from there, and walk back (or go back into the fun if you’ve still got the energy!)

Brought my kids for a family day out and it was spectacular, I would say it suitable for kids around the ages of 5 - 14. There is abit of something for all kids from storytelling, boat rides, face painting, flying fox and more.

The park is vast and includes many activities. The personnel is kind and helpful. However, this place is more appropriate for younger kids aged 6 maximum 7 years old. But, the entry cost is not very well though actually, since the taller you are the more you pay, for a rather boring place, for older kids, and adults that accompany the kids. Ticket for adults should be half or free and for older kids less than the price of younger one's.

Nice place to take the little ones. Went during the half term and it was quite busy! Not a problem apart from when we needed to sit down for hot food, then it was difficult. I have to knock a star off because the paths are absolutely rubbish and uneven in some places so you best watch where you step. Someone in our group rolled their ankle and another said theirs was a bit dodgy the day after. Also, it is probably best if you get your kids to read the books before going, as there's a lot of references to them and they'll probably enjoy it a lot more.

Nice adventure park at Hoveton near Norwich. Roughly around 3 hours from London . You can spend half a day doing activities here like sky maze , boat ride , story telling , crafts and other activities like den building. There is a small eatery where you can get sandwiches and pasty.

Amazing find on Instagram, the kids and I loved it. We went one hot day during August, however with the tall trees it was all very shady. The price was reasonable of which the children and adults got face panting, arts and craft and the chance to watch shows part of the price. My family and I took a picnic but they do have cafes that sell food, drink and ice cream. As I took a water bottle they did fill it up for me which was great. The drive from London on the way was an easy journey, their was plenty of parking available. I would advise you to buy a ticket in advance.

Took kids and wife here for a damp chilly morning/afternoon. We stayed for as long as weather allowed which ended up being about 3 and a half hours. The park is actually not as big as it seems so little legs had no issue getting round. Inside such a relatively small area is a brilliant selection of wooden mazes, walkways, nets, tunnels, slides and bridges, of varying difficulty and layout. Some are really complex and you can get very high up. My two kids (both aged 6) love climbing trees and exploring stuff so this fit the bill perfectly. For the adults, plenty of benches and some decent coffee and eating establishments that didn’t break the bank although adults are able to join in the fun and climb around too. There is a neat little boat ride from the entrance to the main park which was an unexpected treat. Overall worth the money and we will be back. Dress appropriately and visit out of weather like we did and you can have a lot of fun and enjoy the ‘calm’ which is possibly missing in the heat of summer. One last thing - staff were really helpful and kind. Thank you!

Lovely day out with plenty of playing and running around for the kids. Food choices are limited. Well maintained. Staff super friendly and helpful. Bit of a wait for the boat ride and most items in the shop are pricey.

Amazing day out, so much to do (even for smaller kids) my little girl had a great day (just under 1m tall). The park is well maintained and the staff are very friendly. The standard of the climbing equipment was near pristine. Would definitely recommend.

We came here for the Halloween event and it was really good. Not many visitors got in the spirit as we found we were the only ones dressed up. It's a beautifully situated area with plenty for the kids to do. They were shattered after their day running around and climbing. Definitely worth the money as you can easily spend the day
