Went for celebratory Chateaubriand and could not fault anything about the whole experience. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, wonderful hospitality. For a higher end restaurant you aren't made feel out of place even after just popping in after your shift.

Dining should be a good experience aside from any pandemic, and at the prices offered at Glaschu, there are many exceptional options across glasgow to enjoy. Glaschu unfortunately fell short during our visit on several aspects. Firstly, good luck if you have any specific dietary requirements. When asked if a dish could be amended the response from the chef to pass on via our server was “chef is very proud of his menu and isn’t prepared to amend any dishes”. Dietary, allergy and religious requirements, paramount at any dining establishment, are second here to a chef’s perception of his menu that supersedes guest’s requirements. Service was polite and friendly but not knowledgable on the menu, unfamiliar with the cheeses on offer with vague descriptions as “blue crumbly cheese” and simply “cheddar”. Although nice atmosphere and design, a very disappointing experience.

Hmmm, I'm a bit conflicted about this place. The decor was immaculate and I don't think I've ever been in a cleaner bathroom! The staff were welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. I'm sorry to say that I was rather underwhelmed by the food. We had the 8 course tasting menu and about half of it was delicious but the rest was rather forgettable. For that main reason I also think its a bit overpriced. The portions were tiny but then again you have eight to get through so I can understand why that should be. I think the tasting menu was £69 per head and that's before any drinks were bought and I didn't leave feeling full. That said, I enjoyed my night and the staff were lovely but I probably wouldn't rush back.

First class food first class service, it was my first visit with family and now realise good food is better than ok food and less is better than bulk. The chef is inventive and his presentation was thoughtful. Will go back soon and have informed other family members and friends to give it a go.

I have now been twice with friends over the past 3 months, the cooking of the food was excellent, wine was excellent, and all round good times. I'm a big fan of the Bilson, and would recommend to anyone who is looking for more of an indepth foodie experience.

As always, service excellent, food perfect. This lunch visit I asked for a cocktail which was unfamiliar to the restaurant. Elsewhere, hands are raised in 'we don't do that one'. Not at the Western Club. The drink was provided without show, and perfect.

The worst experience. The staff were not friendly or polite. The food was cold and undercooked. Avoid this place in future.

Bilson eleven is absolute brilliant. Really fantastic for in a very relaxed environment. The food was fantastic, a good display of local Scottish ingredients prepared by a chef that is clearly very passionate about bringing that quality out. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and made the whole experience.

Absolutely loved our meal here for my boyfriend’s birthday. The malted butter is still on my mind months later and loved the attention to detail throughout. Before we went I was concerned it might be stuffy or pretentious but the staff are so lovely and chatty, and the service is excellent.

Glasgow has nothing else quite like the Bilsoneleven. Wonderful food. Friendly staff. Only small gripe is related to the interior. Furnishings and lighting on the cold side. Highly recommended.

Amazing service, food, and experience. Can't wait to go again. Only gripe is that the light fixtures look a bit ridiculous haha - like ugly modern spotlights for an art exhibit or something. This starkly contrasts the lovely quaint waiting room that we drank our wine in whilst mulling over the menu.

First time trying here and I can't recommend highly enough. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, and the food, oh my, the food! We came in for the Sunday roast and it was absolutely incredible. The staff were very gracious and helpful, we felt very welcome!

  • 5/5 Chris N. 3 years ago on Google
First time trying this lovely restaurant and went for the Sunday lunch menu. It was very good value for money, the food was absolutely superb, the service was top notch and the restaurant itself is a very nice spot to sit and enjoy a meal. The pickled mussels are a nice wee nostalgic appetiser, the pickled watermelon and feta was very good but a bit more watermelon would have been appreciated. Beetroot and orange cured salmon was the other starter it was also very good. The mains were the lamb roast of the day, cooked absolutely perfect, the accompanying veg was superb and the Yorkshire pudding crispy and light. If there was a minor complaint the roast potatoes were a bit too big and not as fluffy in the middle as you'd expect. The charred rump steak was the other main, cooked perfectly and very tasty served with French fries and an amazing peppercorn sauce. We had a couple of cocktails to finish off and they were as good as anything you'll get in Glasgow, all in all a superb meal and will definitely be back.

Guy's restaurant was my go to city centre restaurant choice and a firm favourite. I have been looking for a new city centre haunt and after just one visit feel I have found it in Glaschu. The lobster cannelioni was still on my mind this morning when I woke up, it was beautifully balanced well cooked and presented and a dish I shall remember for a long time. Myself and my dinning campion went for for the Beef Wellington another. Superb dish and we were in firm agreement that the best pastry either of us had ever tasted. The service was note perfect, friendly, knowledgable staff with a passion for the restaurant. They were neither to intrusive or to absent. They made helpful recommendations and took time to ease us into our evening. Already planning next visit looking forward to visiting my new favourite city centre haunt.

A hidden gem. My favourite Glasgow restaurant. I came across this restaurant by a chance google search when looking for somewhere to dine - fed up of the usual same tasting food that most restaurants serve - I wanted something “wow” ...and “wow” is exactly what we got! The decor and atmosphere is elegant, service top notch; and the food - just incredible! You can taste the passion that goes into each course. Each course is delicious (and visually pleasing) and you come out full and satisfied. During the pandemic “Bilson at home” was setup allowing customers to enjoy the delicious food from the safety of their home. We had this twice and absolutely loved both meals - the additional cheese board was a delicious treat too - great value for money! Bilson was the first restaurant we visited post lockdown - as a party of 4 we had the pleasure of dining in the private room. The room itself is beautiful and we felt so at ease with all the safety measures put in place. 5* !! I’d highly recommend- you won’t be disappointed.

This place is awesome! The environment, service, and food all perfect!!! Nick is an amazing cook. Everything he made was wonderful. We really enjoyed this place. I feel British tipping is too low for their great service, and we had to tip them American way. What a wonderful experience! Loved it!

What an unbelievable night that was last night at this restaurant. The food, the service and the wine was absolutely sublime. Just an absolutely unbelievable experience and I certainly would recommend this place to anyone who loves their wine and their fine dining experiences.

We had such a phenomenal time at Bilson Eleven. Its an experience more than a meal, you are so taken care of the whole time you are there and Nick and the team leave no stone unturned. The food was magnificent, every course was an absolute sensation and the matching wines complimented it perfectly. We will definitely be returning in the future and if you are deliberating going then I would highly recommend! It is worth every penny.

erfectly nestled in a cool Glasgow tenement, this restaurant has a real speakeasy vibe on approach but upon entrance it’s clear to see that there’s far more on offer than a trendy location. The service is pure class, a truly personable but never overbearing encounter whilst still maintaining all the charm you’d expect from such a highly regarded name. We have been fortunate to be able to treat ourselves on two separate occasions (winter & summer menu) and we’re left genuinely astounded at both. We have experienced Michelin star dining in the past and how B11 hasn’t been awarded one (yet!) still amazes us. The chef is an absolute master of the trade, each dish served is unforgettable as is front of house and accompanying drinks. Bilson Eleven really has to be experienced to be believed.

  • 5/5 Robert M. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely love this restaurant! The food is incredible, the service is friendly and the restaurant is beautiful. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. The winter menu was stunning, hard to choose the best course. We also had the wine paring which was lovely. Always good banter with the staff and will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience at Bilson Eleven. Michelin-starred food quality & service. From start to finish, every course delighted our palette. Very seldom in a tasting menu, you are happy with every course. Go try it. As one of the food critics said “one of the very best restaurants in Glasgow”.

  • 5/5 Alan M. 1 year ago on Google
Great food, wine, and service in the east end of Glasgow. Tasting menu was delicious and wines were thoughtfully paired. Atmosphere was low key and classy and we enjoyed the eclectic playlist during dinner. Will definitely be back again the next time I'm in Glasgow.

  • 5/5 david b. 5 months ago on Google
Excellent experience at Bilson Eleven. Takes a little bit of finding and parking is limited, but once inside, it was brilliant. Very stylish and personal service. The menu was well thought out and presented. Strikes a good balance of relaxed formality. We have dined at all the best Glasgow restaurants, and this is in the top 3. It's not cheap, but it is very competitive when compared to other similar venues. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.

  • 5/5 Adam B. 8 months ago on Google
The food was superb…a veritable array of tastes, sensations and flavours. Wonderfully balanced tasting menu with plenty of variety, with excellent wine pairings. The sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable and gave engaging and detailed explanations of the food and wine. Set inside a ‘real’ front dining room in a terraced house, the setting betrays a real sense of authenticity whilst providing the highest quality of food and drink.
