Lovely staff although they are so busy Good cafe and coffee however, I found the cold drinks are not available some days I totally RECOMMEND it

15:15 Monday 05-12-22: Customer experience at the Sauchiehall Street branch was shocking. My aunt had a full coffee spilt down her new coat whilst the on duty manager opened an adjoining door. He couldn’t have cared less and blamed my 82 year old aunt. No attempt to engage or offer a “sorry”. You are an embarrassment and your conduct was shameful.

I was in pret and I ordered I an Ice Late . The person who was preparing that for me put the ice first in the cup, then pour hot expresso over it which melted it, then added the milk. I asked to add more ice as I ordered ice late and not the late. She said that is the way they make it and told me in cheeky way “ have a nice day” like she mean shut up and just go. So I explained to her that this is the way I drink the coffee and Starbucks always put ice that stays for al least one hour and that her customer service is below zero, I asked her for her name and she refused to give me. Just her manager told me her name Abbey, never will be back

Not one of the good Prets I have been to. The seating area was not clean and not well organised. Servers are not the most friendly ones- one in particular (so better not generalize actually)

This is a really grotty Pret. I went in for a tea later in the afternoon and the place felt like no one was paying attention to it. Tables unwiped and sticky, crumbs everywhere - piles of old fruit salads in a mess on the counter. Do yourself a favour and go to the much more pleasant Social Bite a few doors down.

I have ordered a latte and found only having half of amount coffee. This is not good.

I've ordered a drink and unfortunately I didn't like the taste of it. Immediately I said this is not the drink I have normally and asked for a replacement and staff refused also staff are rude if you're non white as I have observed few times. Staff including manager is so friendly to Caucasians and if you're different you will get that dirty look and i find that appalling as I travel up and down the country for work and I have never experienced anything like what I have experience at this shop on sauchihall Street. If you're non white avoid this place.

I arrived at 7 o'clock and was the first customer to enter! One of the employees opened the door for me. He took my order very friendly too. I stayed an hour there in a cosy corner.

I had a very bad experience here lately. I had went in on a warm day and ordered some iced drinks for me and my partner, from the get go the server was being very blunt with me but i didn’t take it personally, just wanted to get my drinks and get on with my day. My partner brought me them and they were hot, not that big of a deal, mistakes happen. I didn’t want to cause too much fuss so thought i’d just ask for two cups of ice to pour the drinks into and go. Walking back up none of the servers made eye contact and avoided me, although i was the only person there, finally caught the attention of the girl who served me and told her the problem kindly, the only thing she said was “no” with a very offputting demeanor and just kept repeating no with no context and a blank expression, just absolutely not trying to have a normal conversation and shutting me off. As i tried to explained i just wanted some ice please, even though these were drinks i paid for, it seemed like to her this was an unreasonable request almost like it was coming out her own pocket. I tried not to lose my cool but the whole situation was very overwhelming, i was made to feel like i was lying or wanted a free hand out. The other servers gossiping about the situation right in front of me laughing like i wasn’t there, and then the male agressively stating the server wasn’t being rude when i addressed it to him. I understand everyone has bad days, but this experience really was awful for me and would never return here. And looking at some recent reviews now it’s clear i’m not the only one who had a bad interaction with this person.

Coffee was good. Pastry selection was poor. Staff friendly and warm. Premises a little grubby as in needs redecorating.

The staff at this Pret are really lovely and the service quick. Sometimes the stock and variance of food is a bit low and the seating cramped, what you would expect from a city centre place.

Well I am a big fan of their hot beverages, my cuurrrent fav is coconut caramel hot chocolate ! 😋 and if you like'em take their membership of beverages it will save you a good money if you drink more than 5 coffees in a day!

don't expect much, but reasonably cheap. RESPONSE TO MGMT: I'm not reaching out via another venue. I gave my feedback and you could easily ask what was sub par on here rather than making me do the work for you. I will not be coming back regardless so it's irrelevant.

bad service and unfriendly staff . I just asked the girl who was served me to put my stuff in separate bags she got grumpy, it seemed like to her I have asked unreasponsible request. never will be back

The sandwich selection is always fresher and taste much better than it's rivals. The coffee is good too. This is a busy Pret.

Good atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service, great choice of baguettes and wraps. Revisited and really impressed with service levels. Manager offering great service with a smile for everyone.

Rude staff and an obnoxious manager- funny to see this has already been mentioned in reviews. Will be highlighting today's experience with Pret's Customer Services. Appalling, and the store is utterly filthy.

Thank you to the excellent service I received today (8/12/22). I had a massive dip in my blood sugar and ran into Pret Sauchiehall St for chocolate and tea. The member of staff who served me was so kind and spookily seemed to instinctively know what I needed . Thank you so much for understanding. X

Probably the slowest service i've ever expirienced in a coffee shop. I come here regularly as it's the last pret that closes in glasgow. But the staff seems very slow and chat to each other rather than work on my drink. My average weight time here is 7-10 minutes. Even when there's no line it takes them 5 minutes for a coffee...

The coffee wa really good here. Not burnt or bitter. I also bought 3 cinnamon scrolls which were a hit with the ladies at the office. Definitely will make this place my regular.

Filthy beyond belief. Needs shutting down and presure washed steam cleaned with domestic!

First time visiting and also the last. Ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream. The girl serving saw that there was no cream left after paying and decided to fill with cold milk instead. She laughed with her coworker saying she was asking the 'cream knowing full well it was just milk. Had one sip and realised it was stone cold so had to go back and ask for another one to be made. Also not a fan of paper cups when sitting in.

General service is good with helpful staff. However, the management appears to be unable to maintain stock. Have asked for a cold drink on 3 occasions over the past week (admittedly always in the afternoon) and been told that there is no way to make a shake, smoothie or whatever...

Good selection of food, quite a busy shop all the time but the service is really quick.

Not the best Pret A Manger mainly due to the size and limited seating. Food was nice but seems to be expensive for the surroundings.

Always a nice coffee, easy to get seating and nice friendly staff.

The cafe feels more like a club than a cafe. Music is extremely loud. People usually come in to relax and catch their breath while having a coffee or study. Inpossible to do both as the music is not only too loud but also really bad - totally to the disadvantage of the pret 'brand'. I guess having a subscription comes with the downfall of having to put up with an extremely loud environment. Also, cafe is usually on the unkept side despite there being 6 staff on at times....

I like dropping in here on a Saturday. Good efficient service and decent coffee. But today I thought it was poor that the large waste bin by the front door was overflowing for the full hour or so I was there. Staff passed bye and looked at it, but failed to empty it, meaning customers were balancing empties on top for the duration of my visit of an hour or so, with some empties eventually falling to the floor. C'mon guys, I hope it was on a one off or I might be heading elsewhere.

Great branch of Pret that I visited multiple times while in the area. Great service with a smile, fast and efficient. Brilliant smoothies, coffees and ice cold drinks. The monthly deal they do is great value.
