This is the second time I have been to diggerland. It is an absolutely amazing place to visit with your little ones and I feel the price paid is excellent value for the experience you will have! I took a 12 year old and a 2.5 year old for the day out and they both had a fantastic time, especially my young son! He wasn't quite tall enough for some of the bigger rides but he didn't even notice due to so many other activities for him to try. The staff here are the best staff I have ever seen, and this is the reason I returned. They really cannot do enough for you and they try so very hard to make sure your little ones have the time of their life! This time we had lunch in the "Dig In" and for 2 children's meals, 2 large slushy's and a strong coffee the price was so reasonable. Indoors there is also a soft play area for little ones to run wild whilst you can kick back and grab a 5 minute earned sit down! The weather wasn't the best for us this time around however we dressed appropriately, and the off road "safari" was even more fun slipping and sliding on mud tracks!! Will definitely be returning again and I promise you if you go here you will not be disappointed!!

Visited Diggerland 10 years ago and loved it, returned this year with our little one and he absolutely loved it! (So did I!) The staff are fantastic and a credit to the park and the variety of activities are great. We spent the whole day in the park and the toddler run out of steam before we run out of things to do. The diggers are great and when he needed a break, the indoor play area offered something different to explore. He was so exited to be able to operate an 'actual digger!'. The cafe is really good and very reasonable aswell. Can't wait to return.

This is an astonishing place. Not the biggest but certainly packed alot into a small area. I took my daughter, her partner and my 2 grand cherubs. There was JCBs everywhere We were very fortunate that the schools hadn't broken up in Durham so very few people there. Never queued, stayed on diggers way longer than u normally would. Kids drove, dug, played skittles and stacked tyres with JCBs. The JCBs all proper size ones. My daughters partner loved it as he could join in every activity. The weather was not the best. Bitter cold 🥶 😕 and raining, but that didn't dampen our spirit. All the guys that were helping with the rides, really great and chatty. Indoor area, to eat and a few indoor games, pool and table hockey, soft play area. All in all great day. Kids and adults had an amazing time on all the JCBs I was fortunate, I bought my tickets 🎟 in February, so were a good price. B4 diesel ⛽️ prices went up. But I'm afraid to say that I probably wouldn't go now as the ticket price hicked way up, understand why Diggerland had to do that to cover price of diesel.

Traveled 3.5 hours to get here. The kids loved it! Staff are ALL Friendly, always a smile, a Friendly hello and enjoy the rest of the day when leaving a ride. Big thank you to Adam who really took his time with our son who has autism and asked 100 questions before he would drive the digger and to Dave! The jokes on the safari drive were epic for kids. Thank you all for a brilliant day out!

My husband and I are big kids and love anything like this, so it was a great day for us! It was a hot day and not too busy, so we spread out all the activities so we could really enjoy our day and take advantage of everything Diggerland had to offer! There were hardly any queues for us and what queues were there, we had fun watching people operate these big diggers or play catch a duck as we waited! The staff were all so happy and we can understand why! One in particular was just constantly beaming a big smile and full of joyful giggles as he took us on the sky shuttle, it was a lovely encounter and made our experience even better! We had a gentleman take us on the safari drive and he was such a good crack on! He was full of jokes and made us laugh. He also took us out on the JCB and showed us how it worked. The ground shuttle was one of my favorites (sit in the front if you like a bumpy ride) and the young lad who took us out on it was very pleasant. The only ride we didn't go on was the spindizzy as we had just ate, but we saw kids on it absolutely loved it! The gentleman operating it stopped now and again to ensure people were ok and if they wanted to continue with a thumbs up. We were happy with the food there and the fact there is a smoking area for myself. I would highly recommend going to Diggerland if you are a big kid like us or have children who love stuff like this!

This was just the perfect day. Small people and big enjoyed it immensely. The best birthday treat and has everything you could possibly need to entertain them in rain or shine.

Wonderful place for children over 1000 mm in height as they can enjoy all of the rides - some accompanied but most unaccompanied. There are also pay as you go smaller sit on rides and a soft play area for little ones but the smaller children don't pay admission as they cannot enjoy the main rides. Certainly not a cheap day but well worth it.

A brilliant family day out for adults and children. All of the staff were so friendly and there was plenty for our 2 year old to do both inside and outside. It rained the entire time and it didn’t affect our time at all - we just wore wellies and waterproofs.

So much fun for kids and dad's as they can really get stuck in. digging holes, driving alsorted machines while under supervision of happy well trained staff. food drink toilets on site. decent parking little to no queing. highly recommend kids already want to go again

Fantastic day out, well worth the price. The people who work there are amazing, fantastic with children and actively encourage them to have a go with the diggers etc. Can't fault them in any way. There's enough to keep you busy for about 3-5 hours, food is reasonably priced, would recommend to anyone with kids.

Brilliant for digger lovers. The only downside is full price for an adult is a bit much when 1 of us was always with the baby so never went on anything. Also charging for some of the rides was annoying BUT it was great. The staff were all EXCELLENT and my son who is 4 loved it all.

Fantastic day out. Initially thought it was a bit expensive but well worth the money. We were there 6 hours and there was a great variety of things to do for both my 6 and 3 year old. But the best but was no queues! Very friendly staff and good explanation of what each ride was going to do and how to request help if needed. All members of the family enjoyed the day, highly recommended

Fantastic day out. Ideally need to be over 110cm to get the most out of it. Our 83cm child had plenty fun nether the less.

Our 6 year old (and his 40+) year old dad really enjoyed Diggerland. There were a lot of things to do and amazing that we could both control and have goes on different machines. A great day out for those interested in mechanical things. The dodgems were brilliant as well... So long since have been on some.

Fantastic day out 😍 I went with the 4 kids they loved driving the diggers. The train ride was a hit with my youngest. And the joy ride kept the older ones satisfied. Staff are very happy friendly people this makes all the difference, in my opinion happy people makes for a happy experience. We will return again

Great place which entertained my boys (aged 7 and 9) all day. On arrival we were sceptical as the park didn't look very big. However, before we even got out of the car park a digger ride driver was honking his horn at my boys and was giving them big smiles and waves which was a fantastic start to the day. Absolutely amazing customer service throughout the day. The young staff supervising the rides were cheery, polite and very friendly. All were very chatty and were able to reassure my boys when they were feeling a little nervous about the equipment. However, the food hut staff really let the place down. I ended up having an argument with a member of staff who had missed off a meal I'd ordered and payed for(x5 in total). She accused me of already taking it to our table until someone admitted that they'd not prepared it. The member of staff went on to sort said meal but did not apologise for her rude and disgusting behaviour. I would highly recommend taking your own picnic and using the benches provided outside. My boys throughly enjoyed themselves but especially liked the go karts, hubby also enjoyed getting in on the action. Our little girl (18 months) enjoyed exploring the little indoor slide. We would advise to go on 'Spindizzy' at your own peril, fab ride but thank goodness we left it until last due to the induced feeling of nausea. Great day had by all and amazing customer service! I would also like to compliment whoever has the green fingers because the flowers around the park were lovely and colourful and brightened up our overcast and drizzly day.

We came for my sons 4th birthday, what a brilliant time! The kids and adults loved it so much! I'm not sure who had more fun! The staff are very friendly and a great help! The cafe is very good too, clean and has a good selection of food as well a very informative allergy list too.

We had a great time at Diggerland, the kids highlight was being able to drive a real car. Read all about our visit on the Attractions Near Me website.

Had an awesome day at diggerland. Plenty of good quality diggers to operate by yourself if your over 1m. Hardly any queues, so we could pretty much walk straight onto everything. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and chatty. For what you get there it's well worth the entrance fee.

Fun place for young and old to have a go with various plant. Key height is 140cm to have a go on anything. Was here May June half term and on some rides could go straight on and little wait at all. Is a bit high price point of you buy tickets at door. Get them online in advance.

Much better than I expected. Was lucky to be there on a quiet Tuesday, so no queues for anything. The kids loved it and we spent hours there.
