Fully vegan menu to die for. Truely wonderful food. Staff were friendly and you could tell they enjoy their jobs. Shame we had to leave before the music started. If we visit Cardiff again, it'll be our number 1 priority to return. Thank you all at the Moon.

A friendly, all vegan music venue in the heart of Cardiff. Reasonably priced and tasty, stacked vegan burgers and fries; hot dogs; plus desserts.

Nice friendly welcome. Had tasty and excellent value full moon and half moon breakfasts with tea. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back when we next in Cardiff.

Great venue run by lovely people. The vegan food is incredible, on my last visit I had the Carly Dog which was really tasty and had just the right amount of spice. They treat the bands who play really well and put on some great shows. The staff all seemed happy to be there and in contrast to some nearby establishments the door staff were really friendly too.

Great music almost daily, went there for vegan pancakes and they were incredible

Oh my days, if you haven't tried the vegan Sunday roast at The Moon you have to give it a go! It was amazing and I just had to have extra vegan yorkies which were delicious! Homemade seitan & vegan sausages too. Gravy added later.

Stumbled upon their vegan pizza menu yesterday and couldn't resist. The pizza was outstanding, the best topping options and garlic Mayo was 👌 We will definitely be back to try more food. Shout out to the lady behind the bar also, an absolute delight and working so hard! Thank you.

Cute interesting venue, we went for the poetry night which was great, I'll be back to that for sure. Accessible parking quite far to walk and not much room inside but they accommodated us and someone got us chairs straight away, really friendly staff and crowd.

Went to a recent concert - John Smith. He was fantastic. There were around 40 people in and it was good. Bar prices fair and staff helpful.

Went here after a gig at the CIA and it was great to have venue that had an indie night on in the evening and be open late. At first the bar was dealing with an initial rush, but it steadied and was quite fun. They had a good array of simple and affordable cocktails (a rum punch was £6). A good night all in all and it had a friendly and lovely feel to the venue. The staff and doorman were also very nice.

Brilliant place! Came to Cardiff for the Rugby and one family member needed the toilet - asked the two pubs next to the Moon and they refused! Asked Reece ( I think he was called Reese ) on the the door of the Moon and he said yes of course! We ended up all going in for a drink. Went to many places to drink in Cardiff but the Moon staff stood out to us as excellent.

A great small venue to see live bands

Can't fault the place, friendly staff, very easy going doormen, not aggressive or uptight, always free entry, come and go as you please. Always brings the live music with great atmosphere, very intimate space, full of fellow music lovers. I've been going for years and never had a bad experience.

Nice punk vibe and vegan food! Wait time for food can be long, staff was friendly. The food was pretty good, I’d eat here again.

Awesome. Live music venue

Lovely little venue. Some great live music and brilliant acts for a free event. Friendly and helpful bar staff and the Red stripe was perfect.

Compact, but with convenient seating and a great atmosphere. Went to see a couple of bands with some friends and found an extremely friendly venue. Good bar with lots of options. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially considering I'd accidentally paid with an out of date £20). Situated in Womanby street so nicely placed for music and bars and within easy walking distance to Caroline street for food and nearby taxi ranks. Hope to visit again soon.

Enjoyed my time there, good place to let your hair fown

This was an epic venue to go clubbing at, variating between different colours of light with heavy tunes! The bar is clearly presented even late and I had a Redbull while clubbing, also liking the Cardiff Underground map and I did find the toilets to be clean when using them.

Good night out. Great music and fantastic with the drinks. I'd recommend the in house special. The name describes what happens the next morning but dawn it's good.

MamaRaz saw her son performing tonight. The greeting staff and bar staff are gorgeous. The venue is a good size and the stage big enough for the act to move around. The audience had a fab time and the LGBTQ guys dressed beautifully. Everyone was drinking but no rowdy drunks. The age group was, I'd say 25 up of Like-minded guys having a fab time. When Razkid performed his spot the place was buzzing. I was made so welcomed by everyone it was a pure joy. This is a gem! An antedote to the big clubs which are your generic textbook sort. Congratulations to Saturday night's dj he gave us all exactly what we needed (and a bit of tinnitus). It's a real mix of sounds, you never know what songs gonna come on next. Thank you for a brilliant night of dancing, best one for a while! I'd say if you have any ear drum damage bring earplugs because this place is LOUD. Could do with a bit less volume actually but other than that brilliant staff, bouncers, crowd and tunes. We will be back for sure.
