What a beautiful cathedral. Open to public. Free to visit. Clean, well presented, peaceful. Not crowded. Lovely architecture and excellent preservation of historical artefacts. The grounds are beautifully maintained with plenty of parking nearby. A stone throw away from the river and bishops palace. Definitely worth a visit for families and tourists. Evening song weekly on Sundays.

One of the nicest cathedrals we have ever visited. The Epstein Christ is awesome. Also the Welch regiment Chapel is moving and interesting. The welcome we received from the volunteer was warm and friendly. Lovely village too. The car park (turning opposite Spar) gives 2 hours free parking. Enter the reg number and receive the free parking ticket but do not overstay.£100 fine! Burne Jones panels delightful too.

What a stunning, Beautiful place. Hidden in a valley surrounded by trees this is a beautiful building with an interior to take your breath away. Epstein's figure of Christ is amazing, but for me the most beautiful thing was the recently installed organ which spans the choir. Most definitely worth a visit.

As soon as you step into the premises of the cathedral, you'll feel like you have stepped into the ancient times. The cathedral has some graves that are from the 18th century and many more things that will blow your mind if you think about it. It is beautiful from the outside and has an amazing construction all over. Similarly, on the inside it is quiet and peaceful too. If you don't go at the time of the choir practice then you can freely click photos as well otherwise you will have to wait until the completion of the prayers. Much recommended to visit this place.

Beautiful cathedral in a stunning location. A little out of the city centre so not hugely visited. A real hidden gem.

A magnificent cathedral hidden away in a quiet area of Cardiff. Well worth a visit and lots of pubs nearby. There is a convenient little car park too and good walks along the river nearby

Great place to visit if you want to experience history. Old meeting new (traditionally placed altar with side benches for the most prominent members of the congregation transitioned into modern church setting with the priest facing the brethren). If you go off the side cemetery, you will find the old one that has not been maintained - the nature reclaiming the burial grounds, in a sense closing the cycle of earthly existence...

Delighted to spend the weekend with a choir, singing three services over Saturday and Sunday. Our first visit to Llandaff, and we received very warm welcomes from the clergy, virger and the community. It is located in a valley by the River Taff, and reached by quite a steep pathway or stairs. The first Cathedral, known as the Little Minster, was erected in 546, and in the years since, it has been built, fallen into disrepair, suffered storm damage, and enemy action, being gradually restored from 1942 and completed and reopened in 1958. It is the mother church of the Diocese and seat of the Bishop. In 2010 the new organ was installed, the largest wholly new British built instrument to be installed in a UK cathedral for 50 years. There is a small gift shop, and a maze of corridors, side chapels and vestries, well worth exploring.

It is a nice historical site, you feel peaceful inside, specifically while the good guy is playing music. I need to get a better camera

Just beautiful inside and out, a nice lady greeted us as we went in and offered a sheet that give interesting information about the church which was really nice to walk around and read up as we went along and learn. They have a lovely gift shop inside also😊

One of the nicest spots in Cardiff, you forget you are in the city at all. Haven't managed to see inside yet as I've visited only when it's closed but the grounds and surroundings are nice enough to spend some time in.

Utterly Spectacular. You wouldn't know it was there from the nearby car park until you walk just around the war memorial and then you are suddenly greeted with the most stunning immense cathedral. Inside is just as spectacular. Fascinating history of it's "reconstruction" following a partial collapse following a WW2 bombing raid. If in Cardiff, make sure you go.

Went at night so entrance to the Cathedral was not possible. Lovely to see the building by night, partially illuminated and shrouded in mystery.

Beautiful! Take a look at the cimitery too, it's not big, but it has a few really beautiful Celtic works.

Aesthetically, it cannot be denied that this cathedral is stunning. But it's from a spiritual and well-being aspect that I appreciate it even more: tranquil and peaceful, I feel being here has a calming affect that quiets my mind. I'm looking forward to attending events here in future. There's so much going on!

Really nice place, and it was lovely to go in when 30 degrees outside as the stone makes it so cool! Nice bit of history.. and a lovely little park next door to have a picnic.

Just a truly beautiful cathedral. Steep hill to walk down and back up. Park in Llandaff high street car park (free for 2 hours but need to display free ticket. Small number of disabled parking spaces right down by the cathedral. Easy access then for wheelchairs etc.

First time to go there last week for a wedding. What a stunning place. Open everyday to visitors an if your in Cardiff it's worth going for a look around. Car park also next to the Cathedral.

Interesting and beautiful .I particularly enjoyed Jacob Epsteins' Christ sculpture inside the cathedral. There is free parking just outside, which is a bonus, and a creepy ghost trail snaking around the river and into the atmospheric churchyard.

One of Wales' six cathedrals, Llandaff lies on the Pilgrimage route to Penrhys and the Taff Trail. Interesting mix of ancient and modern architecture.

Beautiful cathedral which mixes ancient w modern. Bombed during the war, the cathedral was rebuilt. Modern touches, including a beautiful sculpture hanging before the choir section, warm up this magnificent building.
