My wife reminded this place from 3yrs ago, I had forgotten about it. We returned and it is still amazing food we have taken my mother for lunch she was well pleased. First picture is my farmer's platter, second is my mum's New York Deli sandwich. There cakes and Puddings are amazing too. We went on a Tuesday early afternoon so was not too busy, but we did get asked did we book so if you can book a table. They do a roast every day it looked good. Some pictures of breakfast I hade the large one and wow it did me all day & I like my food very good price think mine was 9.95.... 2 sausage 2 egg but I had scrambled so seems more 2 bacon (may want to ask to cook a little longer) Beans, sliced fried potatoes 2 toast Tomato & Hog pudding very nice too (Not like black pudding)

The food and service here is incredible! Both myself and my family have visited here several times and we've never had a bad experience! We regularly drive down to visit from Plymouth due to how amazing it is! Can't wait for our next trip 😀 we definitely recommend it to all!

In summary, a hidden gem with a great atmosphere and quality food at affordable prices. Our original plan was to do fruit picking and planned for a light lunch here before heading back home (5 hours drive back). We drove through a lot of small villages and country roads and almost missed the farm as the sign post is quite small. However, this place is well worth a visit, lots of parking spaces, quality farm store and the restaurant is one of the best places we have visited in Cornwall (huge compliment to the chefs for the food). Good portion size dishes served with quality meat and vegetables, while the prices are just right. The restaurant was packed while we were there (Friday), which shows how good this place is. The customer facing staff were very friendly as well, polite and attentive. Thank you. We ended up not picking any fruit as we spent most of our time in the shop and restaurant. There was a sign that there wasn't much fruit to pick anyway. A real hidden gem that's worth travelling to. Update: knocked 2 stars off for the service as we waited ages for someone to clear our table and to serve us the desserts. We noticed other tables (who came much later than us) were served and left well before us.

Excellent choice if you are looking for a nice place to eat whilst on holiday. Loads of seating inside and out and most of the produce is from the farm itself which is superb. Staff exceptionally professional and polite. Ordering was simple and the food options were great. The steaks were ok. I was hoping they would be amazing but they were ok. The potatoes were great with two options offered for the table. Veg was nice so all in all really lovely evening. The cake menu is extensive and impressive. Some items out of stock or no longer offered even though the menu suggests otherwise. Cakes look amazing and was great you can have two slices as one portion. Kids will love it. We will return next year definitely.

Good portion size and tasty food, but I’ve had better service in chain restaurants. The wait staff walked past us on a few occasions, without asking if we were ready to order. The drinks boy spilt my drink spilt all over me, (ok, accidents happen and luckily I was wearing black), but *I* cleaned the table (and myself), and then he still asked if I wanted a new bottle…. 😂 The wet napkin also remained on the table untouched for the duration of our meal. Lots of parking though and nice shop, with lots of tasty foods to buy.

The farm is free and cute, the pick your own is tidy but let's talk about FOOD! I wanted lunch so managed to get a table in the restaurant. There was a lunch deal for 3 course and it was £25.95. I chose carpaccio, Steak, mushroom and ale pie with Cauliflower cheese and veg, and I selected the lemon cheesecake. Portion sizes were HUGE, in Sussex you'd pay nore for this home made quality of local produce but you'd get half this size. I'd be able to share all 3 courses and still feel full. I am stuffed in a good way! Highly recomend food, all around me people ordered different things and they all looked top notch!

Beautiful banoffee pie and a wonderful tiramisu. The pulled pork burger was nice but the chicken burger was slightly dry. The chips were great though.

Trevaskis Farm is a working farm in Hayle, Cornwall, with a farm shop selling fresh vegetables, spices, drinks, beers, cheese, etc. along with an onsite fresh meat and fish counter and a very popular restaurant. We visited the restaurant for coffee and cake, and the cake and desserts variety was fantastic (see photos). The portion sizes were also very generous (you could choose between the adult or child's portion, and I thought the child's portion was VERY generous)! I was reliably informed that if I was unable to finish my dessert, I could take the rest home.

Great food. Generous helpings. Friendly helpful staff. Good service. Lots of young staff that are professional and polite. Its lovely to see young people taking pride in their work and setting the foundations for future careers. Bill came and I checked.... no over charges as whats happened In past with one restaurant in IOS . Recommend a visit for many reasons. Many thanks

Brilliant Sunday roast, massive desserts. Also the server asked the party at the start of the meal about food allergies and they had a great online dietary list for the dessert menu.

Hidden Gem! We stayed at a campsite just walking distance from here, and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner here during our trip! Good sized portions and vegetarian options with plenty of outdoor seating that's dog friendly! Service was quick and polite. Farm Shop onsite is lovely and we treated ourselves to some locally baked doughnuts. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area!

Great carvery on a Sunday, very tender beef and lots of it! Best of all were the puddings, so hard to choose just one, but had the Baileys Cheesecake. Must have been made with the hands of an Angel. Really great experience.

Big restaurant but because of all the little cosy corners you won,t notice that. Friendly staff, great food and an huge amount of delicious desserts. Tip" Don't take a starter but save the space for the desert

Excellent meal and a very large range of choices including dairy free, gluten free and vegan choices. Dessert choices were equally extensive and the portions of mouth watering creamy offerings were superb. Staff delightful too

Caught the end of lunch, managed to squeeze in a duck wrap. Well worth it! Was tasty and filling - hit the spot. Treated myself to a wander round the farm shop which was wonderfully stocked. Perfect if you're looking for a Cornish memoir. Ended the day in the cake shop where I eyed up the biggest éclair I've ever seen in my life. It tasted as good as it was spectacularly large

I’ve given the restaurant 4* because of a Sunday dinner we had. I ordered Pork with crackling which I had before and which was fab. There was no crackling left but they told me that as they put my meal on the table without it. We had ordered the meal for 6:15pm which on reflection for Sunday lunch was a mistake which won’t be repeated. We went again Thursday evening I had the sizzling beef with extra fresh chillies - see photo. Fantastic - the beef was in fairly large chunks and was tender and tasty BUT we had chips, dauphinois potatoes and vegetables which came as standard together with egg fried rice. I thought they had got it wrong but it came as standard - excellent food and generous portions. Recommended and great value!
