What a lovely quiet pebbly beach. Hidden and serene - not crowded at all. Dogs need to be on leads. Good pubs around and ice cream shops. Can hire beach huts/chairs. Beautiful cliff and far reaching views. Perfect to sit and listen to the waves and have a picnic.

Great pebble beach.. left side for dogs on lead from May to end of Sept. Plenty of refreshments available to buy when on the beach and a range of local shops on the high street as well as a lovely pub with a dog friendly beer garden. Love the beach, can get busy during summer so parking gets busy.

Beautiful little village. It’s a lovely place for a day trip and if you stay in the village it makes a great jumping off point to any of the other places along the coat such as Seaton, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis etc. if you’re active try one of the walks along the Coastal Path

We enjoyed a beautiful morning spring. It was peaceful, lovely and really pebbly πŸ™‚. Few tourists, seagulls, some fisherman and us on the beach.

A very pretty little spot and the sounds of waves crashing on the pebble beach and seagulls majestically swooping overhead. Only small but lots of colour with the deckchairs and beach huts. A small village leads down to the beach with assortment of pubs, eateries and gift shops. I recommend parking at top end of the village as it gets tight further down and parking is very reasonable priced. The drive down the steep gorge to beer itself is part of the adventure. Go on treat yourself to a 99, kick off your shoes, settle in a deck chair and let the world pass you by.

I don't know what it is about the rocks on this beach but they make me feel happy to be there. The sound they make while you walk on them causes me to want to stomp around and act like a kid. The sound of the waves on the rocks is very relaxing. The cute little town just adds to the trip. I try to stop whenever I'm in the area on holiday.

Charming village,is probably why such a lot of people choose to spend their summer holidays by the sea. Having never visited Beer before I could well imagine staying here, it's got everything a holidaymaker could possibly want . What I must say as well, it's always worth exploring these tiny Devonshire roads you never know what you might find. Glorious Beer.πŸ‘Œ Good places to look at whilst in Beer, they have a light railway there, which would be good for all the family and also on the same site is Pecorama model shop which specialize in model railways which some great displays, well worth looking at.

Always love this place and 3 times here it's always been sunny. The water is crystal clear. What is nice to see it is very much a working beach for fishing boats.

Pretty fishing village. Whilst there 2 fishing boats landed on beach and we watched them being winched ashore. Fisherman also kindly showed & talked through his catch of lobsters & crabs with our granddaughter. Interesting afternoon in a lovely location.

This is a true hidden gem πŸ‘Œ our first visit and definitely not our last πŸ˜€ with cafes on the beach it has a continental flavour about it . Above in the village you will find a collective mix of nice shops and food outlets and a lot of mixed accommodation πŸ‘Œ

Beautiful small fishing village and beach. Pebbly beaches were lovely. Beach huts available for hire at good prices and a few cafes on the seafront to get drinks and basic food. The sea was crystal clear if a little cold! Stunning costal views and definitely worth the trip!

Really nice little town. A nice friendly buzz. In the car park make sure you park in the long stay if necessary.

Lovely quiet pebbled beach with steep shelves on a white cliff background. Could be in Greece or Italy when the weather is right. Set on the edge of a twee town with little streams alongside the roads, I counted four pubs but there could be more! May be expensive but you just don’t seem to mind here.

Fantastic little village with quaint little shops and a beautiful local church, also I never seen so many pubs in such a small area but for a small village I must have counted at least 5! Well worth a visit if you are in the area, nice hiking trail overlooking the bay.
