Lovely variety of sweet treats like crepes, sundaes and waffles (and some savoury options too!). The place can get really busy on the weekends so you might find the tables are bit sticky if you find a table before the staff get to clean it. No card transactions below £5 but most things will cost around that amount anyway!

Spotless but go elsewhere Four of us popped in for takeaway ice creams after a meal about 8pm. The array of ice creams was good but the lady serving was so abrupt and unhelpful that two of our party didn’t bother ordering. We two remainders clearly explained what we wanted but we were given the wrong flavour. The staff member was so rude about changing her mistake, only doing so when I was insistent, and simply flicked the scoops back into the container and went to use the same cone. The ice cream was quite tasty but the customer service awful and we won’t be back. If it is too much effort to serve people please don’t open, especially if it’s a place younger people or children are likely to go as a treat.

Very disappointing visit. Decided not come again. Menu is set in stone you cannot change it. Even though they did change it on previous occasion. Cookie dough was under cooked, no crispiness, paste like heap Extortionate prices with small scoops of ice creams. I get a bigger serving of ketchup in restaurant than ice cream here. 10 quid for a cookie dough and ice cream, pathetic. Charging London prices in Cardiff My family and friends will not be visiting again. There are other nice places nearby

Really enjoyed this. No, I didn't eat it all of these🙂. One of these is quite filling. For one person, you are looking at about £12 to £15 but that's ok. It's really a lovely treat.

Visited this week with a friend for the first time wasn’t expecting a massive display of flavours it came as a sweet surprise excuse the pun. We had waffles and they were divine mine was loaded with strawberries and Oreos. Place was lovey and clean and staff were very polite, would definitely recommend.

Awful experience, waffles and pancakes are being warmed back up so not fresh to order. When asked why there are warmed up the woman said they take to long to make (which is 3 mins) as she also stated. Terrible staff service and had nothing but rude looks of them. I’m not one to post reviews but sometimes these things need to be pointed out for other people. Such a shame on the poor standards that they work at!!!

Went tonight with my family to get the Roman Empire dessert. I specifically rang earlier to check that they could make it before 10:30pm and they said that’s fine. I turned up at 10pm and asked for the Roman Empire. The guy sighed when I gave my order and then said they couldn’t make it and that the Roman Empire can only be made before 10pm - sounds like he made it up and was too lazy to make something that’s on their menu. Don’t have something on your menu that you don’t want to make

Have not been to Coco Gelato for a few years, so we decided to take our grandchildren. The selection was excellent but unfortunately two members of our party are coeliac and were unable to have waffles, crepes or pancakes. We enjoyed what we had but feel that you should address this situation.

Great place to visit for a treat. Service good, clean seating and lovely to see it so busy with families so late in the evening. Felt like we were on holiday. My family have been back multiple times its so good

Great place to satisfy your sweet tooth, loads of different varieties from ice cream, crepes, waffles, and much, much more. Great selection of milkshakes also soft drinks, and hot drinks. Apon arrived outside clean and tidy, but the one issue is the parking, but that's not down to this establishment. You have to be lucky to find a spot. Customer service was excellent, and the rest-rooms looked like they were cleaned regularly. Overall, it was a great visit. I would definitely visit again.

The one young member of staff (I believe may be transgender), is the best member of staff you could ask for. Seriously impressed with her service and attitude. Always welcoming and makes our drinks perfect everytime. All the other servers are hit and miss where the drinks are good or terrible, but hers are awesome. I just hope she knows how good a job she's doing.

Though everything that we ordered was tasty...on the other hand they forgot part of our order and we had to remind them after 40 minutes...no comment about the prices 🤐🥲

I went here a few months ago with some friends and ordered a peanut butter cup sundae. It was amazing. Loads of peanut sauce, chocolate sauce, Reese's cups and whipped cream. It was really busy and we arrived at aroun 22.30 which is a half an hour before closing. Went last night and ordered the same thing. We were there at about 22.00. Received our sundaes in a take away slushy cup, with barely anything on or in it, but still charged the same price. It's was a cup full of ice cream, no whipped cream, no wafers. Some sauce on top and barely any peanut butter sauce. The music was on max volume while the staff were shouting along to the lyrics and banging on the counters. I do believe in work team spirit, but I didn't come to a concert and they had 1 other table in, so it's not like they were busy. Like on the first visit where you couldn't find an empty seat. Fab! Just exactly like the pics on menu and tastes of all desserts we tried are nicely blended with great portions (fair price). Will deffo visit again!

I would give 0 stars if that were an option!! Placed our order of two waffles this evening. After waiting 30 minutes (10 of those minutes the staff walked around aimlessly) I went to ask the women on the till how long would they be please. Our order was lost and nothing had been made. The waffle are NOT FRESH! And re heated. When I asked why they are re heat the women at the till said because they take too long to cook. (They only take 3mins to cook) Do not Recommend.

The food they serve is really tasty, and a lot of the items on the menu constitute a whole meal rather than a desert. It can be somewhat pricey.

I ordered food from coco gelato from deliveroo. There was an issue with the delivery of my order, but a very lovely person working there called me to make sure I got my order and it was delivered properly. They also added more milkshakes to my order to make up for it! 10/10 customer service, very lovely staff. I've also visited in person several times and the food is always good!

If I were sum up my experience at Coco Gelato I would say that it is decent milkshake/ice cream parlour I have been to in Cardiff. The service is average. The milkshake is great, but the place can get very noisy during the weekends. So stay away from that place if you want to have study session there. The lady with the multi-coloured hair was probably the best highlight of the parlour. 7/10 will visit there again.

Ordered the classic crepe, and this is the remaining sugar of the crepe. I tasted no lemon whatsoever, might aswell call it a sugar sandwich. How can you mess up the easiest crepe to make……..

They have a huge variety of ice creams and desserts. The seating is acceptable, they open till a late hour.

Always a good late night spot to get the sweet fix. Their waffles are great, we always get the Eton mess one. Tried the cookie dough for the first time which also did not disappoint. Would have been a five star but the coffee is terrible. Do not recommend, stick to the warm desserts.

Lovely selection and variety of desserts from crepes, waffles, pancakes, ice cream, cakes and gelato. Highly recommend the Blood orange gelato, that is beautifully refreshing! I shared the Strawnana Mafia with a friend with an extra scoop of gelato. However if I wasn't sharing, it is quite pricey for a dessert for one person: £6.75 + £1.50 (scoop) + VAT which came to £10.25. Overall though a very good dessert place 😋

It was OK. It wasn't a very family friendly environment. Staff didn't seem to pay attention. We asked for 2 tubs of ice cream of 2 different flavours. But they put both into one tub. When we corrected them they gave us again but in the same tub again.

The best in the business, I absolutely loved this place, tasty desserts and most importantly great customer service. The spot ambassador waffle I had was great. I would highly recommend my go to place for dessert. I love the lady who makes the ice cream she’s super friendly, amazing people.

Nice Gelato store, plenty of seating and good quality selection of Gelato, they do killer milkshakes especially the Reese cups milkshakes and not bad at £4.25

Lovely place for desserts! Great experience overall and the staff were very helpful when helping me decide which flavours to pick. Delicious is an understatement, they had so many flavours to choose from I will be back to try some more! They also told me all the gelato is handmade in store, very rare thing to find in Cardiff!

Wow, chocolate heaven. Establishment is nice and clean, wasn't too busy when we visited and service time was fast. Thought it was abit expensive to pay £8 for a milkshake but when it arrived and we saw the presentation and effort that had gone into the meal. Well worth it. Will be back again
