The best club sandwich I've ever had. Nice twist on an old fave. The home made tomato sauce was incredible too.

It's been a long long time since I've been here. Gone is the "run of the mill" cafe and instead is a nice little "modern" cafe. Quick service and the waitress was friendly and could have a laugh with you. She thought I looked 10 years younger than I do so of course I like this place.

Lovely place, great coffee and really happy with our orders - sandwich and eggs royale. Sooo tasty

Love it at Spoon. Great sandwiches, toasties etc. The tables are well placed. There is seating outside for 6 people. Good, friendly staff. They do Bistro evening as well, but they are something I haven't yet tried.

Just brilliant! Evening bistro meals are delicious and daytime cafe superb. Whenever you go, the food is always well priced and superbly served by excellent, attentive staff. Don't miss it!

Eggs Benedict not bad. Ham hock was very nice but not sure about the pesto. Overall still nice

The food is cooked fresh. The staff are lovely, polite, very friendly. We visited for lunch The had to go back for breakfast a couple of days later. The food is absolutely delicious. My brother had the vegetarian breakfast, the home made Sausage & hash were the best we have tasted. This cafe is a must when in Sheffield. If I'm ever driving past Sheffield again I detour to pop in. 😊

Wow I think I've found one of new favourite cafes in Sheffield! Friendly welcoming staff and atmosphere.. And the food was excellent! I had pulled lamb with beetroot jam and goats cheese on a freshly baked ciabatta and I couldn't fault anything! The chips it came with were amazing and the slaw, so delicious! If you're a foodie then you MUST check this place out!

Wow, I’m thinking this is the best place we’ve stumbled upon in the UK in the few months we’ve been here! We shall definitely be returning, highly recommend for family and small groups, and when the weather’s warmer, great outdoors bench to occupy - I’m already planning a cycling route to pass here :)

Best vegan breakfast I've had out & about. Been there twice now and both times blew me away. The vegan sausages are incredible, as is the wedge of hash brown/boxty. The oat latte is also devine!

A local cafe which does an excellent 'fry up' together with more exotic and varied dishes. I opted for a classic Sunday fry up but one of my lunch partners had a MEGA version and the other went for a pulled pork sandwich and accompanying salad. We all agreed on a very satisfying and well spent Sunday morning...

I had the Spoons Big Breakfast which was pretty much faultless. Great staff and a nice environment. Mrs B had a second coffee which is always a good seal of approval on a place. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Delicious and clean. I've ordered different things (sandwiches, open sandwiches, soup, breakfast, etc) and was always satisfied. Friendly staff, too.

There were 5 other people in the cafe when we arrived, we sat for nearly 20 minutes before we eventually got up and went looking for staff, then we waited another 10 minutes before waitress actually took our order. I was ready to leave by the other 2 were hungry so we stayed. Food was good, service was terrible. Also had to call waitress to pay when left. We weren't the only customers having these issues. It certainly wasn't because they were busy, goodness knows how that would work out.

Went for a birthday brunch. The range of food on offer is impressive. The service was impressive and really friendly. The food tasted amazing but the only thing I'd raise is the portions are smaller than other brunch venues.

We had a wonderful night at Spoon for the bistro evening. 8 of us went to celebrate my mum‘s birthday and Jules worked exceptionally hard to ensure we all had incredible food and hospitality. Our 9 year old was able to order from the day menu on this occasion and I was so grateful for that. We’ve been before and we will most certainly go again, day and evening. Thanks to to you all at Spoon, mum had a lovely night.

Lovely experience here today. Food was beautiful and perfect portion. Very good portion of the healthy salad which was really nice. Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon which was perfect for us. The girl serving us was very pleasant and always smiling. We'll be back☺️

This is one of my go to places the food is always top quality . They even make the brown and tomatoe sauce . It's my favourite place for coffee the americano is the best I've had .

Had a fantastic night at spoon. Food and service was out of this world. I am Gluten intolerant and extremely fussy, Jules the owner still made sure I had a perfect meal. I would highly recommend 👌

Atmosphere too noisy and hot. Lots of clattering from the kitchen and from the coffee machines. No jacket potatoes available. The tuna melt was a tuna sandwich with no cheese and the bread very slightly toasted, and over priced. The best thing was the pleasant waitresses. Won't be going back.

Lovely cafe\bistro on Abbey Lane. A bit pricier than some other cafes we visit but the quality of the food probably reflects this. Homemade burger with chilli and cheese was absolutely delicious. The coffee was also excellent. Only seemed to be one guy doing all the work but he was very friendly, taking time to chat to our toddler.

Came here on my Wife's birthday for breakfast. We've been here several times before so we know the food is great. I had smoked duck with scrambled eggs which I've never had before. My wife had the Spoons Breakfast, we both had a great meal and the two ladies who were serving did a great job. Social distancing is observed and we we're asked for contact details for "Test and Trace". You have to book your table in advance to eat in.

A pleasant family cafe atmosphere, with an elevated menu. The breakfasts were delicious. Only lost a star for inattentive service. The cute baby in the corner was far more interesting than taking our dessert order.

Excellent! A welcoming place to go , great service, quality ingredients, well executed and tasty food, nothing is too much trouble. Jules is a great chef. His staff are also lovely. A super place to meet up with friends in Woodseats or to while away time people watching or reading a book. Breakfasts, brunches, special bistro nights, and special gatherings for up to 20 people.....I had my wedding breakfast/brunch here as well as enjoying many other times. Jules will go the extra mile for you!

The most delicious food!! Really lovely staff 🥰👏🏻 So glad we randomly stopped by on our way back from the shops. Best café we've visited in a long time.

A wonderful smile as I walked in, followed by the perfect coffee and a delightful veggie breakfast. Veggie sausages are a particular favourite. All for less than £10. A perfect way to start the day. X

Beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Woodseats, Sheffield. Where to begin? Ambience? Feels like a real home from home! Front of house staff are such a lovely bunch who make you feel so welcome (and make the most excellent coffee!) Jules a.k.a ‘Mr Spoon’ lies somewhere between a bona fide food genius and certified Mad Professor. His food and flavour combinations are bold and daring but never disappoint. From his daily specials to monthly bistro evenings, his personality shines through a medley of food combinations that have to be sampled to believe. If you are looking for something a wee bit special, an experience or an occasion , look no further- you will not be disappointed. Thank you Mr Spoon and everyone for all your hard work and dedication to good produce and genuine hospitality.

An excellent cafe would highly recommend. I visited with my 1 year old twins. The staff accommodated us and entertained them which was really helpful when jungling them both. The food was yummy; I had a really tasty flatbread sandwich and an orange chocolate tart. Will certainly be back.
