We hired the castle and one of the courtyard cottages for our wedding and an anniversary party. Couldn’t recommend it more highly, everyone had an absolutely amazing time. Emma was fantastic, from the planning stage through to helping on the big day. The recommended suppliers couldn’t have been better either which makes a world of difference. The whole thing was stress free and the activities were thoroughly enjoyed by all, with ages ranging from 1-80. Will definitely be back and will be recommending to friends looking for a place to hold an event somewhere special.

We spent a week in Bridge House. We found the house very cold. The weather wasn’t good for time of year but heat was set as if it was warm and sunny. No wifi at all, had to use 4G on phone whole time. Phone reception awful so when we tried to contact manager about the heat the phone kept breaking up. It was 2 days before we were able to speak to a member of staff who Explained that the heating timer and boiler were in a locked outbuilding and how to change the heat settings. Details would have been better to be in the folder left inside the property for new guests arriving. The house needs updating, comfortable furniture would be a start because the cane furniture is very worn so no comfortable position for sitting watching TV, cushions are so worn. Just hard wooden chairs In dining room. The two walks advertised as great for dog walking were inaccessible as far too wet. They are around the edge of fields so there wasn’t a lot we could do to exercise two dogs. Had to travel each day to more suitable parks and forests. I wouldn’t recommend here. Far too expensive for what you actually get.

My husband & I have just returned from a three night stay at Belle Isle Castle we had the best time . We stayed in the Oak cottage along with our wee dog Rocco , the accommodation was very well equipped with just about everything you need. We especially loved the log burning stove it was so cosy in the chilly evenings . It is a perfect stay for pets & had lots of great walks around the estate although a bit muddy (bring welly boots ) The location is stunning with beautiful countryside & lovely views & is about 20 minutes drive from Enniskillen town . We will definitely be returning to this fantastic accommodation 👍🏻😁

A very peaceful and pleasant stay in Coach House 2. Belle Isle is situated in a fairly remote setting and whilst there are plenty of restaurants/pubs in the area few are close by. A car is therefore essential. The grounds are splendid and well tended (my Springer Spaniel was in seventh heaven), well done to the gardeners. The accommodation is ample, clean and well furnished. A gentle week away - who can object to that?

Fabulous stay. CY2 Beech is very spacious & clean. You could fit 6 people (if allowed). Highly recommend for a family with kids, loved the play area being close & loved walking the dog along the trails. I would recommend a map inside the apt. to define the dog walks. A communal seating & BBQ area to enjoy the sunshine all day would make it v sociable. Please reopen the bistro or some form of sit down lunch/ dinner we would have loved to have had that experience. Google maps was best for the boat hire navigation. For off-peak season on the boat there’s not many restaurants along the river open outside of Fri-Sun (even though it was Easter). We found Carrybridge Hotel did good pub grub. I enjoyed meeting the Curly Pigs and learning about their important conservation work - perhaps a member of staff could do a free guided tour, to learn about all the animals. Handy location for Nat. Trust, Mable arch caves and Donegal. We’ll be back to explore. :-)

The most perfect place to get lost and heal! The courtyard we stayed in and the whole estate was beyond well maintained. All you need is you, your pup, a book, pen and paper and a good pair of wellies and you'll have the perfect break. We can't thank the beautiful staff for their kindness, chats, laughs and looking out for our doggo! John, Emma, Bríd, Bronagh, Claire and all the ladies we had the joy of meeting, Thank you from Jane and I. X

Absolutely loved our stay here! Staff was all around fantastic, accommodations were lovely, and we had a wonderful time. Beautiful views in every direction. **We didn’t ;)** have anything bad to say about this place.

Our families and friends met at Belle Isle Castle for 4 days and nights to celebrate our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. The wedding day was wonderful and went very smoothly. We truly appreciated the professional staff who took care of us all so well. The castle felt like home for the 4 very special days we spent together there.

Beautiful place but be very careful if you plan to stay there wintertime. It was absolutely freezing the evening we arrived. We had a struggle to get John, the manager, to understand that this is a very basic requirement to have the castle warmed up before his guests arrive. I didn’t find him pleasant at all when we wondered why the bedrooms were so cold. His answer was that people had stayed the weekend before had no complaints about the heating. We understood from speaking to other staff that they had had problems with the heat and John obviously didn’t bother addressing the issue until we asked him to. As a result the plumber was asked to come fix the heating while we were all in the middle of getting dressed and ready for the wedding. In general while the girl, Cherry, was absolutely fantastic and knows exactly what the customer needs, I believe John, the manager of the castle has a lot to learn about basic good customer service. A number of us found he was disinterested and quite unpleasant to be honest. I don’t like to complain usually but I feel compelled to on this occasion. The last point id make is John informed me that housekeeping don’t hold on to any belongings left behind in the castle. So be careful of that one and make sure you and all guests remember to take all your belongings with you on leaving the castle. Marianne

My husband, kids and I recently attended a wedding at Belle Isle. We stayed in one of the Courtyard cottages and cannot find fault with a thing! Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The wedding was so relaxed and Emma was attentive and so friendly to everyone. Hope to visit again soon. Thank for a great visit!

We booked Belle Isle for our wedding in June 2023 and it was honestly one of the easiest decisions we made, they were amazing to work with from start to finish. Not only was the venue and the day itself beautiful and stress free (due to our amazing coordinator Cherry) our guests had a wonderful stay in the rooms and surrounding cottages. They also gave a list of amazing vendors which were also a dream to work with.

Beautiful, peaceful and tranquil location set on an island (accessible by bridge) in Lough Erne with a captivating view over the lakes from the South-facing Castle. The bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious, comfortable and exceptionally spacious. The receptions rooms/drawing rooms were large, opulent and equally spacious. We had a truly remarkable long weekend in the characterful house/castle. The catering was excellent and the staff were friendly, helpful, professional and courteous. For us, it was a perfect location for a family reunion to celebrate a 90th birthday and cost pp was reasonable. My only regret was that it was too short - I would have loved to stay longer!

We stayed at Belle Isle for our wedding in September 2023. Our whole experience was magnificent. The venue itself was just gorgeous, and Emma was the most fantastic event planner. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We enjoyed our stay there immensely.

My wife and I had our wedding here at Belle Isle Castle and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were very helpful in keeping things moving and on schedule the day of. They were also very helpful in assisting us in finding vendors as we had to do this an ocean away. Overall, it'll be a memory for both my wife and I that we will cherish forever, and wish to visit again when we find ourselves in Northern Ireland again!

There is not a place I would recommend more highly than Belle Isle. We stayed there for several nights and had our wedding ceremony/reception in their sunken gardens/great hall. We did the whole thing sight unseen so we had to put a lot of trust in Emma and the staff. They did not disappoint!! The pictures do not do it justice, it's everything one could want for their special day. Emma in particular was an absolute dream to work with. She made everything go smoothly and was an complete joy to be around. My only advice would be to stay as many days as you can!

From start to finish, Belle Isle Castle and its staff exceeded our expectations! Planning our wedding from another continent was a breeze! Emma is such a thoughtful and beautiful person, she mad sure everything was perfect for us and our guests throughout our entire stay (4x nights castle and cottages). They are true professionals and it was a magical experience we and our guests will remember forever. The property itself is such a dream, it has so much charm and character. Hopefully we get to visit again one day! Million thanks to Emma and the team!

We had our wedding over the course of a weekend at belle isle estate. The estate is beautiful and the house and the cottage accommodation are perfect and very clean. Cherry, who is the manager is so helpful and extremely easy to work with. Would highly recommend for a special occasion or just a trip away!

We stayed in Coach House 1 for a few days during a cold spell in January with our dogs Kara & Bonnie. The staff are friendly and very welcoming and the accommodation is beautiful, lovely period properties with beautiful homely features. Even though the temperature outside was below freezing we were kept warm by the central heating and log burner with a daily supply of logs. Couldn't fault anything about our stay, Belle Isle is a stunning venue.

We went to a 4 bedroomed courtyard cottage in Belle Isle last week. John Cherry and Emma were so kind and helpful on every aspect of our stay. The cottage was terrific with endless fuel for the fire, plenty of central heating and hot water, comfy beds and a terrific atmosphere. Reasonably priced and they even allowed me to charge my EV at the reception area overnight. I could not recommend this heavenly place more highly. So much to see and do around and Reg our terrier also loved his stay

Lovely relaxing place with great accommodation stayed in one of the cottages which was spacious, well equipped and very peaceful, also great that it was dog friendly. Only down side was the bistro wasn’t open so no where on site to get food and they could do with some dog waste bins around the place. But we had a great stay and will be back here again

We stayed here with our family for 3 nights. Beautiful, clean well equipped accommodation in a stunning setting. Our little granddaughter loved the climbing frame and visiting the nearby cows and donkeys! We found the staff friendly and helpful. We would recommend this place and hope to return.

Beautiful property! Great place to relax, hold an event such as a wedding or family reunion, or explore Ireland! Loved visiting the castle and staying in a huge and comfortable 3-BR courtyard apartment with kitchen and living room. The kids adored the playground, fire pit outside, and visiting the donkeys. Staff is over the top fantastic.
