So, we went to an event at the Union. The space was good, toilets cleans etc. We had some food, it took a while but it was busy but was well cooked and tasty. Staff we're really nice and very helpful behind the bar.

Took our daughter for an open day and so far it's top of the list, student welfare seems to be top of their list

Great people, helpful as always. Prices in their shop could be a bit more discounted though.

Fantastic experience. SODA tour was so informative, the young lady was very knowledgeable. I can see why students thrive there.

This is union other universities wish they had. Very modern with great food and drinks

Beautiful place with a bar, conference centre and other rooms. Beautiful place to hang out and just have a good time close to the city centre.

Was here for many gigs during the manchester punk fest , the venue was a great size not to big ,not to small ,the pints of corrs they sold here were tasty ,some of the tastiest I ever had

Nice play to stay in, cafeteria is nice and lounge is great, pity the coffee tastes like ashes but nothing unexpected since it's Starbucks, the baguettes on the sandwiches is as cooked as a cookie dough. £17.99 for a planner? I know the prices increased but this is beyond ridiculous.

Loved it. I'm proud to be a MMU student. There's a Starbucks inside and also a helpdesk to solve your doubts.

Pity MMU only see Hulme as land to grab and neighbors to ignore Cavendish street stopped up without proper consultation staff lied the the rights of way would remain

I was only there for board game session and was very welcoming and the food was excellent I can't wait to go there again

Out of beer, bad sound, feels like a conference hall rather than a music venue. Just not intended for a festival venue like MPF.

Came here for an event and didn't have a good experience with the food. Ordered some food at the bar and forgot to ask for it to be made gluten-free (I'm gluten intolerant). Anyway, I was told to come pick it up from the bar in 15 minutes. I went back 5 minutes later to apologise and ask if my order could be changed to gluten-free. I was told they couldn't change the order to gluten-free because of the way the system works, and I'd have to reorder. Bizarre. I said "Ok... Can I get a refund for my previous order and reorder it?" They had to go get someone else to ask. That person told me I couldn't get a refund "because you should've told us at the start" and that I couldn't reorder either, as the kitchen was now closed. No apology. So I was forced instead to accept a polystyrene box of food I couldn't eat. Not only was this a waste of £5 but I was made quite upset by the staff's attitude towards me. My partner ended up eating it and said the "poutine" tasted like Bisto poured over limp fries, so I guess I didn't miss out on much.

Excellent place with very friendly and helpful staff. Very easy access for the disabled. Good facilities. The Union shop on the ground floor is fantastic with a terrific range of goods catering g for the needs of most students. Friendly and helpful staff too. Recommended.

Cheap food and drinks, great place to socialise with other students. There's also a Starbucks and plenty of places to just relax while on campus.

Kind staff and fully stocked area lots of place to study in a safe area

The food was stone cold when it arrived. The girl on the service was really slow and there was no one on the till for 10 minutes. Our table had no cutlery and the staff just looked like they wanted to go home. Disappointing!

Not the best place for gigs. But it's a LONG way from the worst. You should have no strong reason to avoid this venue
