A haven of peace and tranquility next to the park with flowers, trees, seats and a little of Wakefield's history. Sssh. Don't tell everyone, it's a secret.

What a beautiful place to visit. The park was amazing with lots of special places, the secret garden, the lake and the woodland.

Nice garden off to the side of the parks with a small pond and some statues. Really quiet area with benches and tables to have a picnic or enjoy a coffee or other type of drink. Grounds are well kept and has an interesting dragon and some fake animals in the trees for kids to enjoy. Will be stopping here for lunch next time we are in the park.

Really nice secluded spot within the larger Thornes Park, this section is accessed via gates at either end and is sectioned off with a hedge. Nice and tranquil, with meandering paths and nice benches where you can sit and enjoy the view. Also a grassed area and a pond section. All the work is completed by volunteers and they have made some real nice changes, despite sadly having being vandalised on more than one occasion. Definitely worth a visit for a sit down for 5 minutes, really nice in the warm weather

Beautiful little haven in Clarence, Holmfield and Thornes Park. Very well looked after. Highly recommended for a picnic spot. Plenty of spots.

We found it! It's well worth the effort or use Google like we did 🫣🤣.

Should be nice, but the local scrotes spoil it by throwing their trash everywhere.

Nice garden. Has a few benches to sit on. Don't like the big pile of waste on the other side of the fence
