They have done quite a nice job of tidying this place up. It's free entry, which is a great idea. You can go in and browse what's there. The rides are basically the same as a typical traveling fun fair. You need to buy tickets to spend in each ride, one ticket costs £1. Each ride is roughly three tickets per person. Children need to be 1.2m tall to be able to ride most rides by themselves. Smaller children can ride several with an adult, but you then have to pay for the adult. The rides are therefore quite expensive. There are plenty of toilets and they are clean, and there is also an open air cinema screen playing films during the day, with nice looking food vans and a bar. Finally, there is an old roller coaster which you need to pay cash to go on and costs £5 per person. This does not allow you to pay in tickets, which is a bit annoying if you've just bought them.

Amazing place with outstanding facilities! Friendly staff and always well coordinated! Had a wonderful time here with a friend and saw a movie production set whilst attending! Great location for hosting many events and they offer great deals with their concert packages. Decent food on site too! Worth a visit!

Saw a concert there last night but unfortunately rather than let folks use the front entrance we were all diverted around the back way, adding 10 mins or more on.. So if the last train is at 11...we had to leave at 10:40 pm meaning we missed the best of Paul Weller! The ladies toilets were clean and the staff pleasant but I wouldn't bother again.

I have not been to Dreamland since I was a kid, so a few years now! I never imagined this place to be a venue for music concerts. Dreamland has a capacity of 5000. Whilst this isn't a lot, it's certainly enough for a big crowd. Whilst gates open at 5pm, main act (Rag n Bone Man) came on at 9pm. There was one support act and a DJ in-between. Don't come with fluids or sun cream, as security will take it from you; although you can have this returned at the end. Facilities are pretty good, toilets spread out and a wide range of eateries. Prices for food and drink were fair. Ride prices are high - especially at £4 p/p. A very pleasant experience overall. Suitable for disabled.

It was a beautiful sunny day at the end of the school holidays so quiet. Rides great. Staff very attentive. A child on the waltzer didn't like it and the guy stopped the ride immediately and got her off. He then restarted the ride for full time. Interesting art project to find seagulls around the site. Love the retro information about the site. Great for those of us who don't like huge rides.

Went for a concert, drinks were pricey £25.50 for a bottle of wine and double gin and tonic was £8.50. But the staff were really nice and helpful. The concert finished earlier than expected and quite abruptly. The experience was good overall.

Lovely beach. Easy drive from London. Parking at the station just £1 on Sunday. Nice fish and chips. You can also get cocktails on the beach. Very busy on a nice day. Our tradition to go back there ever summer. Inflatables weren't allowed due to wind. 2 groups around us got a bit rowdy, as they were doing balloons. Not good, as our kids had to look at that.

This is a really top spot for a club night. Vip is better than normal - mostly for the toilets and undercover if it rains. But atmosphere is best at the front. I've been a few times. Be careful in the rain, it became very exposed and slippery. I managed to break two ribs falling over steps in the wet. (Pouring mind you). Love the vibe. Security decent. Toilets more needed especially in the heat of the summer when peeps are drinking loads. Awesome town generally and events well organised and within walking distance of the train.

Great place for families, old fashioned rides and attractions as well as a brilliant wooden coaster. Prices were good value and token based, £20 for 40 tokens and most rides were 1 token. That's £2 a ride. My little one had an accident and the first aider was absolutely amazing in helping us.

Very nice family atmosphere. With many rides for all age groups. Waiting times were small, if at all. Good, clean toilet facilities easily available throughout the amusement park. Plenty of food vendors at very reasonable prices, especially compared to LONDON. Everyone was super kind, helpful and welcoming Very much enjoyed and highly recommended, especially with kids in mind! Will DEFINITELY come again with the family . Would have given 5 stars if there were halal options available inside !

Had a great time here, it's not a huge theme park but it was enough to keep us having fun for a few hours. All the rides were fun, the waltzer took me back and still had me in hysterics. One ride was out of commission for the day, broke down twice. The rides cost one token each and the tokens cost £2/£3 each depending on how many tokens you buy. Fun for all ages.I understand they also have entertainment acts on the main stage sometimes. The food stalls are a bit pricey. Generally the staff in the park are friendly and helpful.

A trip from near Sandwich to here took about 35 minutes. It was really easy to get to and a huge car park, reasonably priced I'd say for a full day's parking. The arcade bit opened at 10:30 but the rides and such didn't open until 11:00..I am not sure it says it online?! It could possibly say that but I had very sketchy reception at the camp site we stayed at. So that meant 30 while minutes of arcade fun/hell before even stepping foot into the rides area! 😂 £40 for 20 tickets is the best way to get on the rides, I was with two children but my youngest wasn't able to ride on most things on his own or with his sister because she too was too small. Sadly this time we weren't at the height restriction for the only ride I wanted to do! But I guess I wasn't there for me!! 😱🤦🏻‍♀️🤔 The staff were all mega friendly and happy to help. The kids ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I loved to see them so happy. Will definitely return :) really dreamy British coastal entertainment. Loved it!

Such a great venue. Saw Placebo here this evening (9 June 2023), which was a fabulous gig. Fantastic band. The venue feels a bit like a festival site, but is in central Margate (for those not in the know). Drinks are good value and not over priced. As Arnold once said, "I'll be back!". (In fact, in just over a month for The Human League!).

I've always liked Dreamland, I still remember it from before it was closed down quite a few years ago. Upon its reopening I was saddened to see it had only a few rides and features, over the years they removed rides, brought in new rides, swapped around rides, etc. Some I wish were still around, my favourite all-time flat ride is the Enterprise, which was at Dreamland for a while. The scenic railway is obviously quite popular, it's not a thrilling ride by any means but it's something I think everyone who likes the history of theme parks and rides should try at least once. I have not been to any of the live music events but they have a large stage and gathering area for crowds, my sister's tell me they had a lot of fun going to these events. It's free entry into the park, meaning I have walked around the park, had lunch in the sun and left again, it's sometimes just nice to walk around a place filled with laughter and smiles, even if you don't go on anything.

Great fun and what a brilliant revamp. The rides are decent without being too scary for little ones. This year the token system is straight forward with 1 = 1 ride or game (ring toss etc) except for the scenic railway which is 2 tokens and totally worth it.

This place is good but wouldn’t rate as excellent. There is ample cheap parking space.. Rides in the area are not very adventurous but good for kids.. there was no log wait when we visited the place. There are good number of food counters and ice cream shops/vans in the venue. Most of the rides charge you one coin per ride ( 1coin = £3) per except the Scienic Raily Way which charge you 2 coins per ride. Recommend for one time visit, not very attractive for a second visit .. we had a good time in there ..

just the right amount of rides for kids and adults young and old. The scenic railway is the oldest roller coaster ride in the UK so is a must.

Love this place!!! Easily accessible for all, great range of rides for all ages. Great night life and bands on. There's something for everyone here, fantastic prices for entry of an evening. Although food and drink prices are extortionate and ALWAYS REMEMBER A PARKING TICKET!

Sandy Beach, sunny weather. Was all that we needed after a wash out summer. It's such a shame that the area doesn't have the same buzz as it used to, but the beach was clean, and the general vibe was pleasant. The area could do with a bit of a face-lift, really. I'll always have fond childhood memories of Margate, and it will always be the first beach I'd consider even though there are so many fewer attractions to visit.

A heritage amusement park, where the main attractions are a big Ferris wheel 🎡 with great views across Margate and a fun wooden rollercoaster 🎢. The rest of the rides are traveling fair rides, set out for permanent use. The Waltzer was extremely fast and just about fun, my son loved it but I staggered off feeling my age. Lots of other basic amusements, bars and food outlets. We enjoyed a couple of hours in the park. It's free to get in, and lots of fun. The history of the place is fantastic, they have left some bits unrestored, other parts need lots of attention and a few features are scaffold towers with decoration. We purchased 20 ride tokens for £40 and did everything we wanted to. It would be very easy to blow a fortune on tokens if you take kids to spend the day and eat there as well.

Went there to watch Rag n Bone man he was great. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food stalls had down scaled their menu no snakes more burger, sausage and chips or pizza so if want something small take your own

I was here at the end of July, for Tom Jones's concert. I can only say that it's a perfect place for a concert because no matter where you are around the stage, you are close to the performer, which is extraordinary. It's the only thing I appreciated about this city; otherwise, it's miserable, poor, and full of kitsch.

Perfect on a rainy day in Margate, there is a good mixture of rides for all ages. All rides are 1 token = £2 of you buy the bundle. Plenty of food options and bars, a little prices for the area but you are in a theme park so take it with a pinch of salt. Would go back, my 5 year old loved it especially the arcades. And they have a real banksy on show, well worth a visit 👍🏻

Great to see this place up and running again. Well done to all the team. Made a really nice day out. Recommend this place so much more than the theme parks. Proper traditional seaside amusement park.

Great day out. Ride prices are reasonable food and drink is over priced and nothing special. Staff all friendly and make the place. Lots of new refurbished areas. Really enjoyed it and would return (with a picnic)

This is for the Hall by the Sea only. It's A very good rock venue space. A broad airy and cavernous hall with a bar near the back. The stage and audience is large enough for some pretty large and established bands (we saw Public Service Broadcasting). It did get quite hot in there and someone opened a side door which went into an outside space. Thinking this was a legitimate exit, a number of people tried to leave when the concert had finished and came upon the band making their way back to the dressing room (and promptly getting secondary applause). A good night out and handy for Margate station.

Dreamland is a great little theme park, bringing back memories for the older and entertainment for the young. Completely free to enter, the park has lots to offer in terms of rides, events, food/drinks and concerts or gigs. I commonly take many visits myself when I can, always having a good time with friends basking in the great Kentish weather. Realistically the only downside of the park is the pricing of rides, especially the iconic Scenic Railway which is £5 per person! I thoroughly recommend a visit if you were thinking of it, but bear in mind the pricing inside the park.

Of course no children will like to leave here on time and some adults too 🤠 More 5han enough facilities to keep you busy throughout the whole day and something to eat in between available as well. I think it's worth going to be honest! Parking space? Not an issue at all, plenty of parking available.
