Be
very
sure
you
want
to
use
enough
facilities
here
to
make
it
worth
their
very
high
prices
for
touring
pitches.
It’s
a
big
site
but
the
owners
have
really
crammed
in
too
much
accommodation/pitches
etc.
(a
huge
variety
of
them)
into
the
space
making
it
feel
overcrowded.
Hot
water
in
the
showers
could
not
keep
up
with
demand
during
the
busy
half-term
period.
Not
acceptable
at
this
price
point.
Wild-swimming
pond
is
a
good
idea,
but
the
area
cordoned-off
for
use
when
we
were
there
was
tiny,
much
smaller
than
that
shown
on
their
website
photo.
Unaccompanied
children
using
the
hot
tubs,
despite
CCTV
and
Reception
being
close-by.
Food
in
cafe
mediocre.
Bins
for
dog-mess
often
overflowing.
One
caravan
pitch
(away
from
our
pitch
thankfully)
had
a
big
wood
fire
(not
a
BBQ)
in
an
open
metal
brazier
with
flames
and
sparks
sometimes
leaping
5
feet
high
or
more.
Clearly
a
safety
hazard.
Did
not
report
this
as
Reception
was
unmanned
and
I
could
not
be
bothered
to
try
and
find
out
how
to
make
a
report
as
it
was
at
the
end
of
our
rather
unsatisfactory
stay.
Suggest
staff
patrol
periodically,
especially
during
peak
season/times
(as
they
do
on
Club
sites).
