Great fun for children and adults of all ages. You have to be fit and need to be able to swim. You can hire the wet suits which is great for the kids. Nice area to sit and watch what is going on around you. Also I have been told you can swim in the lake for Β£5 which I think I might try in the warm weather.

Come to the Box end park to try wakeboarding. Great location with good parking. We found most of the staff very helpful. Would like to come back again to try the other water sports offered here.

It was my first time at Box End Park and I can’t wait to go back again. Lots of different activities to do and lake looks very clean (I though it was would be murky and smelly πŸ˜†)

Amazing experience We have booked both cable and floties and it was great family fun. Staff is well trained and professional, trying to help everyone. We had a little misunderstanding in emails, but everything was sorted in couple of minutes. We will definitely do this often from now on :) Also, they have thought of everything There is huge parking, nice changing rooms, you can rent all of the equipment. There is caffee, restaurant, camping site..

Great place for an open water swim. My only minor gripe is maybe some of the weeds could be trimmed back & the marker buoys could be larger/more visible however overall very nice.

Took the family out for an impromptu activity break during some scheduled hot weather. Kids had a blast! The sessions are blocked off into 60mins with a limited number of people per session. Wet suits are extra but life vests are mandatory and provided at no cost. Participants get a safety brief and are then allocated a half of the course to spend 30mins before they swap over. This means there aren't too many bottlenecks or people hogging the same piece of equipment. Kids had a blast and came out exhausted with smiles.

Amazing chilled out vibe with a great water sports facilities, Box end is a brilliant place for people of all abilities. Paddle boarding, aqua inflatable assualt courses and an excellent wake boarding cable tow, they've covered all the bases. Food, toilets, picnic area and friendly staff on site along with free parking. Dogs on a lead are welcome.

Great place for kids and adults to come and have a go at inflatable water play, paddle boarding, wakeboarding pr open water swimming. There's a restaurant/bar on site, and a food van which does hot and cold drinks and bacon rolls etc. Great set up, would have scored 4.5 stars if I could, minor downside is not enough changing rooms for the bigger group events.

Great place to spend the day. The aqua park is lots of fun and there is always the wake boarding if you are in for something more challenging. Ample changing rooms. Good food options and alcohol. Reasonably priced menu. Very helpful staff who are happy to take the time to instruct newbies.

A very good place to go and relax with a drink and something to eat especially in the summer as it has a great seating area overlooking a watersports lake. The staff are always polite and friendly. The only downside would be that the drinks are a bit more expensive than other places, especially Peroni, at almost Β£8.00 a pint.

Great grandsons birthday treat. He and his friends had a great time. Us as spectators had a good time too as there are picnic tables and food available. Really lovely place to visit. Safety seems to be a priority with staff very vigilant.

I camped and attended a swimming event over the weekend. What a wonderful place and every member of staff I came into contact with were wonderful. They were so polite and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. That is from the Life Guards, Reception staff, restaurant staff and bar staff. Thank you for adding to a lovely weekend.

Great fun went paddle boarding, my only disappointing part was open water swimmers in same area . My daughter is just learning paddle boarding she had to go back to the start as her oar had been lost and a swimmer started shouting at her. I don't think the paddle boarders should have to cross the swimming lane to get in and out

Literally had one of the best times here on the water obstacle course. Knackering but so much fun. I felt like a kid again

Kids thoroughly enjoyed the inflatables which were very well supervised. No need to worry about children drowning! Little cabin with fast food good and friendly. Altogether worth the money

Contacted the team advising them the day we had booked it was going to thunder. They advised to come along anyway. After waiting over an hour in the thunder then a further 25 minutes the evening was cancelled. The team advised we could get a full refund and since the conversion they have now back tracked on their word.

Fantastic day out, wake boarding taster. Spent more time swimming than boarding but loved every minute.

Very good place for water sports. Also has ramps for jumps, a pulley pulls you along no boats.

Went to box end park last Saturday and loved it. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Wakeboard lake is brilliant, lots of features to hit, lovely lake, clean water, facilities were good too, nice to have changing rooms close to the lake, and the restaurant and terrace were a great place to sit after a mornings riding and sit and have a beer and watch other wakeboarders. Will be back in the near future, highly recommended spot for wakeboarding

No showers. Swimming good as ever. Lake very clean. Great staff. Just a shame they have decided to close the showers. Last year they were closed because of covid. No real reason this year they just dont seem to want to provide that facility anymore.

Great place to go wakeboarding, a large cable park with a big selection of jumps and ramps to go on to test your skills, as well they have a restaurant and a burger van so you can have a great day with the family, even if they don't wakeboard.

Visited this venue for a work function recently, and it was great. Lovely coffee and tea making facilities which were replenished frequently by attentive and friendly staff. Jugs of apple and orange juice to accompany the lunch menu which you get to select at the beginning of the day (you get a slip of paper you can make your selections on) and each dish was freshly prepared. I chose the chicken and bacon baguette which came with chips and a rhubarb crumble. Both of these dishes were fresh and really delicious! I would probably hazard a guess that it was the best work lunch i've had!! I am secretly hoping work will book another training day there soon......So I can try more food! πŸ˜‚ I was made aware that in the summer months, they have inflatables up in the water next to the building, so will probably make a trip there again recreationally. Very good experience and would definitely recommend.

Excellent restaurant with a very varied menu to suit all tastes and appetites. The water park itself seemed very well supported with all seeming to be having a good and enjoyable time. Large spacious car park.

This is an awesome place, combining the most beautiful countryside, lakes and walks with a fantastic restaurant. There are a number of popular water sports available here depending on time of year. The staff are friendly and helpful. Truly a 5* experience whatever you choose to do.

Had a fantastic time at the park, the ski / wake facilities are fantastic, as are the staff who are knowledgeable and friendly. Only criticism is the standard of shower / toilet facilities in the caravan area and the lack of electrical hookups.

We went for an evening open water swim last night. The staff were so very helpful and friendly. The surroundings were stunning and the water was amazing. It was the perfect way to end the day and we topped it off by a drink in the patio bar whilst watching the wakeboarding. One of my favourite places to swim.

Brilliant aqua park session. Way too short but having said that the hour gives you a proper workout if you're continuously falling off and having to pull yourself back up. Definitely going again. Kids loved it.

Fun place to go - the aqua park assault course is the best part of it hands down! Staff are friendly and very kind - able to have a laugh with the people behind reception especially - a nice welcome! Β£15 for an hour on the aqua park is absolutely worth it in my opinion, and always more enjoyable with friends!
