Nice warm reception, clean comfortable rooms and a delicious fresh made breakfast. Really friendly hosts and Bailey the dog was lovely. We would certainly return if we stay in the area again.

A very comfortable room and a fantastic breakfast, even some home made bread. Room was spotless, as was kitchen and dining area. I love dogs, but still appreciated the couple who run the property checking I did, rather than just assuming, before then introducing me to the very friendly Bailey.

Stayed here recently for a wedding nearby. Val and Chris made us feel at home straight away and are fantastic hosts. Breakfast was delicious, fry up with locally sourced produce and homemade jam and scones. Great place to stay.

I’m really glad I chose to stay at Val and Chris’ B&B. I had a lovely warm welcome, the room was great, a lovely breakfast and chat in their kitchen and a new friend in Bailey the dog! I will definitely be staying again when I’m in the area and would have no hesitation recommending it to others. Thanks all. 👌

The hosts are really nice people, good location, the only downside is electric showers in the rooms. If you need a good shower in the morning, forget about it.

Advertised on booking.com as 4*+ Unfortunately the room we had was very cramped,very poor mattress,so 2 uncomfortable nights. Very poor shower.Not our idea of 4*+ accomodation. 3* would be a generous rating However Chris and Val,our hosts were 5*. Very friendly and helpful,lovely people. The breakfast was superb and I would rate that 5*. Just unfortunate about the room, disappointed to say the least. This seems a case of booking.com exaggerating the rating to secure bookings and I do not hold Chris or cal responsible for that.. other rooms may match the rating,but not the room we stayed in. No4

Homely, welcoming and comfortable.Room clean and included tea and coffee making plus biscuits.Decent breakfast in nice surroundings.Ideal for a short walk into Oswestry.Highly recommended, would go there again.

I DID NOT STAY BUT I WAS MAKING EQUITY BOUT STAYING FOR 6-7 NIGHTS AND THE HOST RANG ME BACK TODAY 24-10-22 TO ASK HOW MY SITUATION WAS AND IF I WOULD STILL NEED THE ROOM WHICH I THINK IS FABULOUS SO IF YOUR. LOOKING FOR PLACES TO STAY I WOULD FULLY RECOMMEND HERE FOR SURE.

We had a lovely stay at Valthebryn. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely especially the dropped scones . The room was clean and comfortable if a little snug, but not an issue for us. We had everything we needed . Thank you Chris and Val.

First our stay at B&B and we were pleased with how friendly were owners. Clean an tidy house. In our ur bedroom we can found everything we needed. Delicious breakfast in the morning. If there would be more stars we would give 10/10 Definitely will come back for another stay

A great welcome from a lovely friendly couple. Cosy comfortable with amazing breakfast - much of it homemade. Love their bread and muffins. Room and shower room on the small side but I‘ll definitely stay again as it has all you need.
