Visited this beach in December and even then it was absolutely stunning! There was a car park which was chargeable so remember to take some money! The beach was very clean and quite busy with family’s,dog walkers and horse riders. I had the most lovely day having a long walk with my partner up the beach and in the sand dunes! Would love to go back again, it is a beautiful part of the country!

Absolutely beautiful, miles of sand and no rocks but, to get to it there is a huge hill to the car park which is a killer. Water is crystal clear Jelly fish present this time of year but, because it is so clean you can easily spot them and avoid

3miles of beautiful clean sand... sea is gorgeous and blue, great for an early morning walk up and down with friendly folk and some dogs and horses to boot which was nice. Getting up the dunes will make your heart work as there isn't really any "easy" way up.. love the place.

This beach is beautiful. When the tide is out it's huge you can feel like it's just you even though it's quite busy.

One of the nicest beaches in Cornwall. Perfect for families in summer and walking the dog in winter. Look out for the large and deep rock pools at low tide, perfect for kids to play and swim in. Free car parking for National Trust members or £8 per day for non-members.

This was the most beautiful beach we have ever seen! It's quite difficult to find and access, and so unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users. We eventually managed to drive down to the surrounding hillside and walk across, past a freshwater lake and cobbles to this stunning beach. Walking barefoot along this incredibly long and beautiful stretch of beach was how I'd imagine being in Heaven - amazing peace, spaciousness, calm, virtually deserted and so restful and calming, with the sound and sight of the breakers rolling in and the vault of the blue sky above. We enjoyed watching the surfers and picking up rocks and pebbles. Only one bum note - loads of people took their dogs here, not an issue in itself except for the occasional bag of dog poo thoughtlessly and disgustingly left at the entrance to the beach, spoiling an otherwise beautiful area.

Beautiful coastline, you can park in the long term car park and then just a short walk down to the beach which is long and very sandy, great rocky cliffs and views over a lighthouse and Hayle. Definitely worth a visit for a beach trip or coastal walk.

AA+ beach, miles of golden sand rock pools full of life. A must visit place if you're local or just visiting, you can spend all day running around with the kids, sand castle , surfing swimming with RNLI Lifeguards in the summer mouths..great for dog walking all year round on the beach in winter and on the sand dunes in summer. There is tolets and a café one end and some miles down the sand there is a big caravan park full of all that you need. With free parking and lots of empty space in middle, it's got something for everyone.

Absolutely love this beach. Did my first ever Boogie Boarding here and SUP close by. The sand dunes are a great place go for an early morning or late night run.

This place is a dream. The vastness of the beach and the cleanliness is sublime. The 6 hour drive was well worth it to wake up to the coastlines of Gwithian beach.

Its just amazing and I go to gwithian twice a year and it's my favourite place in earth and that's saying something, theres lots of rock pools for the kids to go rock pooling, theres loads of caves on the beach, waves are great for surfing and the view of the light house is spectacular! I highly recommend it!

One of the most beautiful beaches situated in the UK. Not only is it absolutely massive, it has a wide community of people who explore it every day of the year and therefore makes it my personally favourite locations to visit!

Gorgeous and very large beach that connects to other beaches in the St Ives Bay at low tide, dog friendly all year round
