Amazing little find. Never thought a churchyard could be so beautiful. Could spend hours reading the stones. Will return. Worth Ā£2 parking as it goes towards the upkeep and if you go you will find out why.

The church is lovely with some interesting stained glass windows. But what makes it unique is the graveyard. Somewhat terraced up the hill, with the most amazing planting and overlooking the cove, it is simply magical. Slightly fairy tail, certainly enchanting and ethereal. No wonder John Betjeman praised it so highly.

Wow, what an amazing place to go and see. Well worth our walk from St. Mawes. Great gardens and church. Some of the garden paths are quite steep.

Simply beautiful - if you are into genealogy and are looking for a particular grave in the very extensive burial grounds then head to the church where you will find a card index and area map to put you in the right direction

A very special place!! There is a tearoom at the top of the hill, before walking down to the beautiful church, situated next to the water. The grave stones date back centuries and the grounds are beautiful and very well looked after. There are tags inside the church, that you can write a personal message on and hang on the prayer tree outside.

This is such a wonderful church. We loved it, and was undoubtedly, my favourite in Cornwall. The church itself isn't that big, but the location and the surrounding is just magnificent. It closes early so make sure you don't head late. There's parking close by.

Lives up to the positive reviews and worth the extra drive, my only tip would be to ensure you visit at high tide or a hour either side of it We visited on a early Sunday morning so had the luxury of a empty car park and very little noise which is always a bonus. The church and graveyard are kept in a immaculate condition and it is a lovely place just sit and watch the wildlife.

What can I say? This is going to be a bit on the long side....An absolutely beautiful jewel of a church. Very pretty. Very welcoming, some beautifully crafted kneeling pads ( all done by locals), lots of remembrance plaques to read, plenty to see inside, items can be bought, a true masterpiece that is well cared for. The churchyard.. never before have I ever seen such well-kept, loved, and respected graves. They date from hundreds of years ago to the present day. The whole area and church is incredibly atmospheric. The landscaping is amazing. If you visit, do walk all over, you'll be amazed at all the beautiful planting...you can spend a couple of hours or a whole morning/afternoon here easily. When you're finished, visit the tea room opposite or walk pass the boat yard and across the fields into St Mawes. There are no pictures of the outside landscaping that includes the graves out of respect.

I went to the winter festival of lights in Dec 2023. Lovely walking around the illuminated church grounds.

We were recommended St Just-in-Roseland for a walk, and we weren't disappointed. It is a beautiful church set in stunning gardens. The car park is for donations and there are toilets available. A lovely walk through the church grounds leads you to the church itself. A short walk pass the church takes you to the old well. You then have the choice of coming back the way you came or walking back on the road. Once back to the car park there is a tea room opposite. We didn't go in but it was busy and all the cakes coming out looked good.

First came here as a child in 1975, and remember it as a fabulous place with a beautiful church garden. I recently returned on a nostalgic trip, and was dismayed to find that the gardens are rapidly being turned into a huge graveyard. With 7 billion people in the World, we need more green spaces, not more headstones.

Beautiful area to visit. A small cafe near the church and main car park. A little over priced with little options. Nice food all the same. If you would like to see the area with the tide in please check times. I didn't think about this, and although still beautiful not as seen in the lovely photos.

It's definitely worth a visit. The graves are set around the trees and up the banks, which makes it feel very special. The walk and garden have a lovely, serene feeling.

I have never seen such a beautiful church in that magical setting and so perfectly landscaped and kept up. Wonderful and well worth a visit.

It's one of the oldest churches I've visited. There is so much history to mull over. The gardens are worth a visit alone as they are very well looked after at a cost of Ā£35,000 per year. The setting for this church couldn't have been better. Cost nothing to visit except a small donation for the car park. One that won't disappoint.

A great place to visit. Beautiful church and ground with peaceful walks and once done there is Miss Vā€™s cafe just across the lane for the best cream teas

Never seen a church like this cc 550 so old, in the grounds are rhododendrons classic British trees and lot of palm trees. Set on multi levels and nicely looked after another to a tidal estuary.
