Lovely little tapas bar with excellent food and friendly professional staff.

This hidden gem is worth seeking out. So worth while, it needs booking well in advance! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable so don't be scared, tapas is a delight and very convivial. Food here is excellent!

We've been trying to get in here for a loooooong time! Always a good sign when you have to book so far in advance, and we were not disappointed. Fabulous Tapas, with friendly service, knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere. So glad we've tried this little gem in the heart of Lovely Louth. We will definitely be back!

We ate here for my Husband's 30th Birthday and loved it! All the staff were friendly and helpful, recommending dishes etc. The food was also delicious and filling. The Pimiento Relleno was especially good.

Incredible food and service, couldn’t fault a single thing. Lovely atmosphere and didn’t feel pressure to rush at all, with super great value for money too, we spent £44 on 5 tapas dishes and a bottle of wine between two of us. 10/10 will definitely be returning and would recommend to everyone, thank you!!

Lovely Spanish food. Good range of authentic tapas plates -ideal for sharing. Difficult to fault. Compared to my favorite tapas restaurant in Manchester this was almost half price per head.

Have been here several times for excellent tapas. The menu changes according to what fresh produce is available. I haven't had a dish I didn't like yet. The service is wonderful and welcoming and the whole experience is authentic Spanish!

Small Spanish tapas restaurant in the town centre. Gets very busy so need to book. Reasonably good selection of tapas dishes. Well cooked. Thought it was pricey for what was served up. Made a nice change.

Went here on Saturday night in Louth, 9.30pm as had lots of bookings. Very authentic tapas with tons of flavour. Gambas pil pil and beef albondigas were very tasty (all food is super fresh and prawns were from the fish market that same day, you can taste the difference! Nice music, very friendly service and well priced. Excellent desserts (some of the nicest churros I’ve eaten) as well would definitely return for good quality, freshly cooked tapas. Happy eating! Excellent food cooked to order, so dishes come out when ready. We could not finish ours, but it was delicious. Each plate priced between 4 to 9 pounds, expect to order 3 per person.

We arrived having believed we had booked a table for 7pm, unfortunately there had been some error along the way & they had no record of our booking. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They managed to shuffle a few tables around & had us seated within 20mins, despite being fully booked. The food that followed was quite simply delicious. The staff and service we received were a credit to the restaurant, when they could've turned us away. We cannot recommend this place enough!

We went to Bar Castillejar for the first time on Christmas Eve and had a lovely time! The food, wine, music and service were all just great! There were 3 of us and we had 8 dishes which was plenty. We enjoyed all 8 except for one which unfortunately was bland so disappointing. The ladies that served us were so friendly and were happy to make recommendations. Will definitely go again and would recommend the restaurant.
