Stopping locally and decided to follow the signs to this farm... oh my! I've never been so pleasantly surprised by a farm for the experience and for the kids. This farm offers so many unique things to do and see it's amazing! So worth the money and the way it's geared up for the kids at any age is out of this world! The farm need to get their name out alot more being off the main road it's easy to miss but each person driving by is really missing out. Well done to everyone at the farm!

A great day out for the kids. Really well priced for all the things you are able to do and see on the farm. You can see sheep, goats, cows, llamas, birds, rabbits, pigs and loads more. You can feed most of them and get up close to all of them. Included in the entry price you can have a tractor ride, smaller barrel ride, go on the indoor and outdoor play parks, play mini-golf, play foot-golf, play foot pool, go on the mini pedal go karts and go in the building area. During the Easter holidays they also had a fair on (had to pay for the rides here but very reasonable) and some other related activities. For the entry price this is brilliant value. There are different activities on throughout the day such as feeding animals and petting them. The food at the cafe is reasonably price and nothing to write home about but there is a good variety and isn't as expensive as some places you go to. There are loads of indoor and outdoor play areas are great. Lots so they don't get too busy. Much better value than most of the indoor play areas around. Best on a day with good weather, we thought we'd spend an hour, maybe 2 with our 18 month year old that has a short attention span;however, he was entertained for a whole 4 hours before we left as he was simply knackered off all the fresh air and excitement. Throughly recommend.

Place is very nice, if it's raining it's tricky to do much there but that's understandable. The only thing I would say is the soft play is for older kids and doesn't really cater for younger kids.

Visited today with my 3 year old. Deliberately picked a day during term so it was less busy than perhaps what it would be during the holidays. I called before we went to ensure the site was open. Entrance fee was very reasonable considering how much there is to do once inside!! My little one absolutely loved the play area and seemed completely uninterested in the animals (which was the point of our visit), and he had great fun on the outdoor bouncy castle/Park and the go karts!! We were given a little itinerary on entrance should we have wanted to enjoy time with some animals, or ride on the tractors! There was plenty of benches and spaces to eat plus easily sign posted toilets (which were very clean!). Thoroughly enjoyed our morning here and could easily have stayed for the full day. Will definitely return.

Had an amazing time with the kids at tweddle farm today. It was our second trip here and no doubt there will be more to come. Such a great place. Plenty of parking. Toilets , food places , gift shop. 🎁 Farm animals , birds , rabbits it's just amazing and quite a few really good play areas. Not to mention the barrel ride and tractor ride. Fun from start to finish. Massive thumbs up really nice staff. I recomend this place. Small kids love it 😀 if you want to see you child smile go here it's amazing.

Nice enough place but was impossible to get a drink today as only one food but open and only one young girl working meaning the queue took ages in a boiling cabin, Entry costs were excessive considering we took our time and had been round everything in under 2 hours. To be fair the kids loved it and the animals all seem happy and healthy,

Took the grandchildren here and did the father Christmas experience, it was brilliant, the elves and father Christmas were all excellent, the winter wonderland was amazing and a lot of time and effort has gone into it to make it magical for the children (and adults). Had a lovely walk around the farm and fed the animals and cuddled some too, plenty of outdoor play areas for the children, had a really good day out. Thankyou to everyone.

Really surprisingly great children's farm. Wide selection of animals to feed and pet and lots of activities (tractor rides/feeding lambs). Plenty of outdoor play areas (at least 5 different areas!) all in good condition. Brilliant day out and good value for money.

So much more than just a farm - more like a theme park! Amazing play areas, soft play and other attractions. Can spend the whole day here easily!

Lovely farm and lots to do swings, roundabouts etc but nothing on there for a child who is disabled and in a wheelchair! And the disabled toilet is just a bigger room with a hand rail next to the toilet! Doesn’t help some one who is incontinent and needs a changing Bed. Liked the fairy garden

We had a brilliant day here, my 7 and 9 year olds loved it. We spent a good 5 hours here! Really good value, including the cafe. Loved the animals but also the football golf and karts. Really well looked after and clean.

Amazing day out with my little one. So reasonably priced. Great play parks and soft play available. Tractor ride included in ticket price. Was accessible with push chair. Will definitely be returning.

Great place to visit if you like small animals, lots of things for the kids to do, large open park land to wander round and see the larger livestock, lots of play areas and rides to keep the slightly older ones amused. Need benches dotted around the park for some tired legs.

A good day out with young children. Limited animals but plenty of activities. Helpful staff. This is just like a mini zoo rather than a farm. Worth a visit.

  • 2/5 Carl H. 3 years ago on Google
The animal enclosure in the 'petting zoo' that houses the rodents, mice chipmunks etc. Was absolutely disgusting, it's as if they haven't cleaned it for a long time, the place is decrepit and falling apart. Maintenance is not in the vocabulary at Tweddle farm. They spend money on new stuff but neglect the stuff that's already there. There is plenty to do for kids for a couple of hours, just make sure you're all up to date on your jabs 👍

  • 5/5 Daniel B. 3 years ago on Google
What a brilliant place for both adults and kids.

  • 5/5 Lily H. 3 years ago on Google
We take the grandkids here every year. All precautions have b been taken to keep us safe. Loads to do and see and very reasonable prices.

  • 3/5 Mike F. 3 years ago on Google
It's getting tired and dated now but worth a couple of hours if you have them to spare and are in the area. The kids' toys (pedal carts, tractors etc.) need replacing, older play equipment and murals need repainting but it's relatively cheap to visit.

This is the second year we've been to see Santa here as last year the children loved it and wanted to come back. Great experience at a very good price. It is really good the children get to pick a present from a selection rather than just being given a selection box like a lot of places. The farm looked very pretty with the snow and the grotto was magical! Only negatives I would say is I booked for a set time so arrived a little early to allow to look around. We then got given a time half an hour after that. Given it was -1°c we didn't want an extra 30 minutes in the cold. Some heaters in the play barn would have been helpful and I felt sorry for the staff in there as I swear it was colder inside than out. My daughter was crying from being so cold. A very kind elf came and asked if she was OK and offered her a blanket.

  • 5/5 Abdulrahman A. 6 months ago on Google
I really enjoyed my time there! They have very friendly staff and the environment was clean despite being a farm so kids could play freely. You can also feed some of the animals which the kids really enjoyed! I enjoyed playing ball and the zip line as well. The kids enjoyed playing on the bouncy castle and driving the carts, which they spent a lot of time on. It has an indoor area if you don't feel like being outside.

  • 5/5 Chris H. 1 year ago on Google
Tweddle Farm was brilliant. I visited with my 5 year-old daughter and there was tonnes of stuff to do. We counted at least 5 outdoor playpark areas and there was a huge indoor play area. The feeding/handling times with the animals were well organised and interactive. The price for entry was very reasonable too I thought, especially if you spend a full day there.

Lovely day out for both adults and children who love animals. There are plenty of things to see and do. Mainly catered for younger children, but with the go karts, bouncy floor, and play area, older kids may enjoy it too. Had the opportunity to hold a month old silky chicken and bottle feed a calf. Lovely cooked food to purchase on site at very cheap prices. Entry fee very low. A must visit for a cheap, fun day out.

Awesome place, great food and would highly recommend! My favourite part was the baby barn because I love cows! I love how close to everything you can get!

  • 3/5 Janine D. 2 years ago on Google
Lots of play areas and animals but the place really really needs a refurb. Loads of broken animal ornaments out the front that need to go in the bin. Most of the place looks like it last had a lock off paint in the 60s, especially the play areas. The coffees were really overpriced. Instant coffee, advertised as lattes and cappuccinos. Powdered milk all lumpy. The packets of salt for the chips were wet inside. Chips were refried. If you go, I'd recommend bringing lunch from home or eating before you go. The tractor ride was fun and the tractor carts. Lovely to see and hold the lambs. Really nice place but could be improved easily. I will definitely go again.

I live in the area and I can’t believe I have never visited this place. I think it’s absolutely amazing value for money, me and my children had a thoroughly good day. Tickets were £34 for a family of 4, I wasn't expecting much on arrival, but spent a good 3-4 hours here, a fair bit to do and multiple areas for the children to play, made it even better. We also just so happened to see a baby donkey be born. Amazing place for the whole family. Highly recommended.

  • 5/5 David B. 11 months ago on Google
Had great fun here with my daughter. She loved feeding the animals, was funny watching the little lambs charge out for their milk. The farm is big and was surprised how many play areas there are including the indoor soft play. The staff were friendly and informative. The tractor ride was great and the barrel ride, my daughter had so much fun. I personally find this farm better than Cannon Hall Farm which we visited last year, the farm on TV. This one is safer for children, the parks are fenced off so only one exit unlike the other farm. I loved how the birds roam free from the duck pond, they came in the park and walked around which surprised us. There are so many animals here to see, I would definitely recommend and the prices are very reasonable, you can easily spend all day here as so much to see. I will be visiting again but this time with my family.

  • 5/5 David J. 1 year ago on Google
Great place for kids, play areas galore, including toy tractor riding, bouncy area for two age groups, and usual swings and stuff. You can hold small animals and feed bigger ones from extra paid for bags. Picnic area and rides on a tractor carriage for all, barrell car for kids. Shop is a bit like a cheap souvenir shop but the cafe is good. A dog and burger van was my personal choice.

  • 5/5 Kevin Foster (. 1 year ago on Google
It's a nice farm and a great place for kids. I can't say much about the price. I can only say that it is a bit expensive place. It's a place where children can have a great time and carry animals while having fun. Congrats, you did a great job.

  • 4/5 Luke O. 10 months ago on Google
Looking a little bit tired in places, but a great day out for young children, multiple large outdoor play areas, some lovely animals and a reasonably priced takeaway truck

  • 5/5 Freedom S. 9 months ago on Google
A honest review, very pleasant experience for the young ones with plenty to do and see. There's lots of different animals that can be fed using the bags of feed that are available upon entry and reasonably priced. It was quite busy but due to the farm being so huge you hardly noticed it. Very nice coffee from the lovely woman who served me at the catering trailer, didn't try the food as I'm not very keen on that type of food but had a respectable choice. There are some attractions that are a bit tired looking but the kids will still love it. The only thing I would suggest is putting a little map of the place on the activity time schedule it would help a great deal so you don't miss out on the events. I will definitely be taking the grand kids again.

  • 5/5 Jim S. 3 years ago on Google
We spent the whole day there and did not get bored once. So much to do! Our children could not get enough of all the playgrounds and we loved the free games dotted about the park. So many free activities, like the tractor ride, animal feeding and football golf, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. A fantastic day out and we'd love to come again.

Simply the best animal farm in England. Various animal, lots of space, many children activities, and reasonable prices.

  • 4/5 Luke F. 5 years ago on Google
Great day out for the whole family, definitely enjoyed feeding the animals which there was a wide variety of. The only down sides would be the soft play needs more money spent on it and the cafe needs to be made bigger, possibly incorporate both into one building.

Came for one of our many visits to the farm today and was disgusted when my partner went in the cafe with our 9 week old baby and asked to breast feed her as it was torrential rain and other than a bench outside there was nowhere available for her to feed and stay dry! The lady in the cafe told her no it’s not open to the public and neither was the indoor soft play area, at this point the baby was screaming hysterical and still got turned away!...like I say it was torrential rain so my partner had no choice but to feed our new born baby crouched down in the animal barn! How any member of staff can think this acceptable as they walked past and saw this is beyond me! I understand due to social distancing the cafe is not open to the public, but Under the circumstances with the torrential rain I think it would of be more than Acceptable to allow my partner to sit on the cafe for the sake of 10 minutes to feed...wearing a mask and socially distancing of course! Other people who visited the farm also passed comment on how unacceptable this was when they noticed the baby being fed in the corner of the barn!! Over the past 9 weeks there have been many times our baby has needed a feed whilst out and about and as long as socially distance has maintained we have always been accommodated!

Gets better each time we visit. Feels like a lot goes into improving the experience. Loved the wallaby walkthrough and the toddler enjoyed the fairy garden (it was always a bit slopey for a crazy golf) We liked the football pool but maybe a flatter surface would work better. Good for a laugh and a day of activity for little ones and hey my 11 year old loved it too

Great place for kids but also for animal lovers of any age. Reasonable entry fee and you can buy cheap bags of animal feed. There is a number of sheltered indoor areas with goats, sheep, donkeys, cows, chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs etc. There are also many fields outside with donkeys, alpacas, ponies etc. roaming more freely. There are opportunities to bottle feed some baby farm animals, and to hold other small animals like rabbits. The staff seem experienced and happy about their work, and the animals appear to be well looked after.

  • 4/5 Samantha H. 5 years ago on Google
Great day out for the family. Loads of lovely animals. Little girl enjoyed it. Does look a little run down. They have some work going on which seems excited. The cafe is slightly small and they forgot to bring us over a drink but soon brought it once we asked again. The animals look well look after and small bags of good as great ideas for kids. The gift shop is great with loads of choice. The indoor play area isn't great for smaller kids but older ones were having fubn but out little one struggled. Overall great day and will be going again.

I have been twice now with my 1 year old. He absolutely loves it. All of the animals are very friendly and the goats 🐐 are just brilliant bouncing around trying to take food from your hands haha. My little boy finds it hilarious. Great for kids and adults too. The big bouncy are trampolines are brilliant and loads of fun. They have a great range of activities in the park area for little ones and lots of animals to see. There are various play areas around the farm and even some awesome zip lines which got me eager to try out and great for adults to have a little play on while the kids are on the swings. Lots and lots to see and do. Quite a walk to walk around though so may take an hour or two to see all the animals. The inside areas are great to with a variety of animals and birds to see. There is an inside play area for kids but it was shut when we went both times due to Covid19 I guess. The reason I gave it 3 instead of 5 is the food and drink. I have been twice and the hot dogs 🌭 are like the cheapest lowest form of hot dog in the smallest bun from the inside cafe...certainly not worth the price paid for them. I threw mine away as it was so awful to taste. The second time I went I got a hot dog from the burger van in the park area and again it was like the cheapest ever hot dog I have ever tasted. They really aren't very nice unless you used to like kwik save no frills type food. I could literally buy a jar of the same hot dogs and buns for 50p im sure. The drink of tea i had was poured away and my partners coffee ☕ she didn't drink more than a couple of mouthfuls as it was so bad. Its a really fun day out but I would highly recommend taking your own food...a packed lunch or cooler bag etc... and drinks. They do however sell canned pop which is okay 👌 they need to work on better food and drink, especially for the prices they charge for them. Apart from that its great.
