😠 The store manger needs to learn Customer service, she made rude comments about Indian couple after they left shop . We live in 21st century not in 80st any more. Either she got bipolar disorder or something else. People often mention store, shop,

The most expensive shop ever! I know you have to pay a bit more at the services... But at over £3 for a bag of Haribo (other sugar based snacks are available) this is preying on the deprived and weary traveller.

I've always found the prices to be very high in comparison to other shops, but they've always got a brilliant selection of products. However last time I visited I felt that a few issues had been neglected, like a general clean of the store and the fact thay staff were leaving large obstacles around the lift, inside and blocking the doors outside. I'm heavily pregnant with a 2yr old in a pushchair, so I had to go and find staff to ask them to move the big trolleys that were blocking the lift, they moved them when asked but didn't offer any sort of apology for the inconvenience, I'm not overly bothered, just thought it was a little rude, especially when they want us to pay the prices they charge for their products. Treat people the way you'd like to be treated.

This iconic retailer is still one of my 'go to' places when it comes stylish pens. Their image and store layouts haven't changed much throughout the years. Why way change something that works

Nice to see this shop still hanging in there, despite competition from the likes of Amazon. A varied, though not exhaustive line of stock available. Point dropped because if you want anything out of the popular bestseller lists they have to order it in and in that case why is it better than ordering on Amazon? Still, it is one of the better shops in a town blighted with greedy store landlords and some unimaginative stores.

The Bridgend branch is a nice clean shop with a very good range of greetings cards and magazines, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful; I like shopping there.

Great in store customer service. Very helpful and friendly staff. A massive shame that WHSmith online is appalling. Very poor communication and customer service. Several times my local store have helped locate my missing items. Current online order still waiting for a book nearly three weeks late. - Huge thank you to my local store for going above and beyond! x

It's the nearest thing we have to a bookshop. It has lovely staff but the stock available is often WAY behind the rest of the UK . We can never find books we want , scifi/horror is pitiful and the chart books are often filled with books from the rest of the shop. The stationery is too expensive and they sell an ecelctic bunch of magazines but never the ones that make any sense. It's a good shop if you are 100 years old and love Mills and Boon. The Sun and Women's Weeklies . if you want the latest books and specific magazines, take out a subscription and travel 20 miles in either direction for a real bookshop.

Getting a bit old and tatty now. It doesn't seem to have changed from when I was in school (that was back in 90's). That being said it always seems to be well stocked and downstairs is now an outlet where you can find some bargains. Staff very nice of course :-)

Terrible customer service, employee swearing and being rude when a child popped a squishy on accident! There meant to be squished then turned to the parents saying "you gonna pay for this".
