Great place if you like your ales, we visited on a very wet Saturday afternoon so most people were inside. There are outdoor covered shelters available.,and lots of outdoor seating, even so there was plenty of space indoors. Plenty of seating, there is table service with food available, or just go to bar. The service at bar is quick and they'll advise on the various drinks available on that day as they get many guest brews. One of the pictures shows the 42 brews for that weekend, lagers are also available. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, a great day out. 🍻 😁

Went here for lunch today for my birthday with some friends. Lovely venue but very little choice for vegetarians. I ended up with a cheese and onion pie which, like the review below by G E, I found to be awful. The worst cheese and onion pie I've ever had. I was hungry but it was so salty that I gave up trying to eat it after having about a third of it. I'm writing this 4 hours after the meal and it still feels like my tongue is coated in salt! Disappointing and will be avoiding this place for food.

I don't know what I should have expected for a £15 burger but it wasn't the rubbish that was served up. I sent it back and didn't even receive a replacement. Won't be going back there anytime soon.

Rather than visit the bar area we choose to enjoy a savoury in the café which was lovely. You can also have a shop around in there too because they have what you might call a little indoor market. There's all sorts from jars of things pickled to pasta, chicken kebabs, eggs and of course real ales with Bowland Brewery branded glasses. We'll be back soon.

This place is amazing very interesting to see the old machinery and watch the Ale being made. Stumbled upon it on a day to Clitheroe. And a Pie & Pint for £12 , Also there's a well stocked Deli with allsorts of goodies .We'll worth a visit the service was friendly and the food was excellent. 10/10

A fantastic cavern of a place. Despite huge and impressive pieces of industrial machinery being left insitu and the longest bar in England there is still plenty of space to sit on luxurious leather chesterfields or at a table on a more traditional babar stool. The guest Ale list is long, varied and very tempting but knowing they brew their own ales in under the same roof you must give one of theirs a try. I only had a bar snack - Hell Fire Loaded Fries - if you like spice, these will have you mopping your brow. I can't wait to go back.

Must be the best choice of real ales 24+ plus lagers ciders and food, what a great place to visit Camra members or not, brilliant.

I absolutely love the atmosphere of the mill, however I find a lot of the younger staff seem to srick together and do not seem to do much. We had a woman called Tracey serve us and she seems to be the only one caring about the customers. She is brilliant and an absolute credit to this place. She is polite, clearly works hard, caring and deserves to be acknowledge. I saw tonight 3 members of staff chatting together at the bar by the looks of it with a female senior member. All this time tracey is pretty much Serving everyone and checking in on the customers! I asked for her name and thanked her. I think Tracey certainly needs to be acknowledged and serious words need to be had with the younger members! Sort your staff out and get more tracey's and this place would be pretty much faultless! 😉

Really nice place. Loads of different beers and good renovation. Stand out was really sweet girl who looked after us as I had my poorly mum in law. She found us a nice table and kept it quiet for us. It's the little things that resonate sometimes

Drinks fine, very few staff behind bar so even though only about 20 people in whole place at 5.30 on a damp Wednesday, the Mr still waiting at the bar for over 10 minutes to be served. Food overpriced, cheese & onion pie the worst I’ve ever eaten, pastry completely inedible. Told member of staff who cleared table & he immediately said they would knock it off the bill (which they didn’t) as if he was used to the complaints. Without prompting, he told us pies were bought in, not made on-site, which explains pastry like rubber as if several, if not more, days old. Frozen chips & bisto type gravy. Very poor

A good young drinkers place. Quirky old and new decor. Huge selection of good ales. We went for food though which was mediocre and pricey. Seating is not good for bad backs. Lighting too dingy to read menus, and the good looking seem to get served first. ;)

An absolutely brilliant place for beer lovers! Great interior, and all the beer you could dream of under one roof. I recommend a paddle - four thirds of your choice, and with a menu this big you have many choices!

Only stopped for a pint which was excellent. Some people were having food. There is a food market next door. Must allow dogs as there were some there. Extensive list of beers , ciders, and Belgium bottled beers. We went at lunchtime, plenty of room.

Really enjoyed our Sunday afternoon here. Lovely staff, great choice of food and wonderful redevelopment of our architectural heritage. Nice one.

Absolutely awful service here. Found our own seat as it was very busy. Got told to move as we were blocking an entrance (understandable) but it was at the back and we could have moved. The table wasn’t an option. We stated we were with someone with a disability who needs to be sat down but this was not taken into consideration. After we had moved, a couple of ladies sat on table we were on and were allowed to sit there with no problem. After asking we was refused help as we was not booked in.

100% blown away with the service from the hotel staff to all the staff behind the bar and the staff in the cinema. Someone behind the scenes is doing an amzing job. We stayed over last night and honestly I just hope a general manger or someone reads this. The staff were all amazing and made the experience brilliant. Thank you.

Just visited the Bowland Brewery for the first time and was very impressed. The beer hall is a great place to sample both their own beers and a nice range of guest ales and ciders. The food available is good quality if a little pricey for some if the dishes. The site also includes an extensive deli shop, cinema and soon to be opened bowling alley. Parking is not extensive with the first 3 hours free. Public transport is probably the best way to get there, especially with the 20+ beers avaible to try.
