It finally happened the flat's next to ALDI. Have finally come down after 30 years. I think it's going to be turned into a new housing estate.

We love this place, very convenient car parking and all the shopping stores together.

There's no other gym quite like Activ8 at Thornaby Pavilion, it's one big family. Many of the other members are very friendly and it's not too busy. All of the receptionists are amazing and the gym staff are incredibly supportive and welcoming, particularly Shaun, Jordan and Jack. Everyone is incredibly helpful - can't fault it. Thanks very much.

I feel disappointed with Thornaby centre lately. It just seems to be charity shops overtaking. Lost the proposed food shack now empty again. Apparently, someone organised to come in. Wait and see. The management needs to prioritise effective use, not charity shops. The indoor store would benefit some improvements and newer clients. Otherwise a nice place to shop free parking 3 hours at present. Have a market on Thursday could do with more stall holders. Has a Wilko, Card Factory, Home Bargains, Asda, Library, Boots, Iceland, Boyes, some hairdressers/Barbers, along with 2 banks and charity shops.

Thornaby town centre is one of the easiest way to shop you have four cafe's subway-pavilion upabove the library - asda and Brewster all give good food there is seating up the middle of the shopping centre you have three banks and is always clean also you have an Aldi and a Liddell too.

I like to play badminton, and enjoyed it here, the leisure centre does offer a lot of clubs, I'm still yet to try them out. Parking is convenient. I would recommend.

Shame the outside doesn’t do the place justice, however inside was good enough. Receptionist was lovely, my kids and I did enjoy going there to play squash, will definitely go back.

My reason for 2 stars is that there was only one small lift which would only fit 1 pushchair/ wheelchair my daughter's school choir sang here and i had to leave early just because of the lift situation there was lots of people their with pushchairs it would have took all day waiting for the lift with that amount of pushchairs to get down so i missed the end of it for this reason as i had to be back at school for her finishing on time too.

😠 I am utterly shocked about what has been happening this month at the gym I have been approached many times and feel targeted by one of the staff/worker middle aged women who occasionally has glasses on always making me and my friends uncomfortable in what I assumed was a safe gym environment she has...

😠 Terribly designed doors that don't let you in half of the time, broken and faulty gym equipment, personally witnessed someone injure themselves badly on one. Poor changing facilities and dirty toilets. To top it all off, a money-grabbing "monthly" membership which, when cancelled you actually have...

😠 I did the on ramp. It was fine, apart from the over baring feeling that as a over weight very unfit woman that this was gonna be very hard. I then suffered a injury. I came back to crossfit once given the all clear. I had injured my knee. So i came back. Lee laughed in my face that I had returned. I...
