We aren’t NUFC fans but we are football fans and we were in Newcastle so this was a must. My son wants to see as many premiership clubs as possible. We had a guided tour and it didn’t disappoint. The older man that was our tour guide (so sorry I didn’t catch his name) was brilliant. Great knowledge and humour to go with it. The stadium is really impressive.

What a brilliant place to see anything epic. Steeped in black and white history the scale and enormity of its hallowed grounds are legendary. Home to the magpies since 1880. The pitch and scale of the 52k seater theatre are immense. We have been working there this weekend for the Rugby league World Cup for the super league festival and it's been brilliant. Thanks to the site and the people working there for some great footage for our film.

The size and scale of this stadium really is incredible. It has a car park and metro station underneath. Facilities look very League 1 in the concourse, but there's loads of leg room and the seats are comfy. Obviously cold as it's in the North East, so wrap up warm.

Even if your not a great fan of NUFC I can highly recommend doing the Stadium tour. I was lucky to just turn up and join a group, but these tours are very popular so I'd recommend purchasing tickets in advance. The tour lasts 1.5 hours and you get to see pretty much everything. Starting with a great view of the ground from the highest level you progress downwards visiting the Executive Boxes, past the Hospitality suites and onto pitch side. You also get to see the home and visitor changing rooms and press room. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the club, it's players and the Stadium. Really enjoyed my time there.

Booked the tour for stadium. So glad we did it because it was brilliant. The tour lasted one and half hours and was really interesting. The guy doing the tour was great and knew his stuff. All it bothered me was stairs. Fantastic stadium with an amazing atmosphere, this really is the fans club. Great city centre location within easy walking distance to the station. Newcastle what a beautiful and friendly city.

St James Park was great, a very good 90 minute tour of the stadium with a tour guide, Olivia, that was clearly happy to be there. Lots of banter and chatting with everyone and a ton to look at in and around the stadium.

Third time at the ground, first time watching a win first time doing a stadium tour. The unabashed excitement around this club at the moment makes it a must visit place for me.(though I am biased) the atmosphere at the match was electric despite the posisition the team finds themselves in. My partner bought me hospitality tickets at the barracks and I must say I was blown away, I thought everything internally at the ground was meant to be run down and shabby but this area was exemplary, the live band unbeknownst to them was almost my ideal choice of band with the songs they were covering.

Had a great tour with my daughter. Staff were really friendly and it was brilliant to see the look on thelittle one's face when she got to sit in the players chair. Apologies to Eddie Howe but she did move his microphone when the tour guide wasn't looking. Fantastic day and great to go back.

First time at this football ground. For away fans, I hope you don't have a fear of heights. A very good view and the Newcastle fans are as friendly as you'd expect. A great stadium for a city that really loves its football. Didn't get the result I'd have liked, but that football.

Fantastic stadium tour! One of the best we've been on. Our tour guide Michael was not only informative but had a great sense of humour!

In my opinion, the best stadium in the country, if you're visiting newcastle, try to get tickets and take in the atmosphere. Absolutely fantastic place.

Not a football fan but attended a couple of games here. Always been a great atmosphere, stadium is superb and the vast. Excellently located for bars/restaurants surrounding. Brilliant day out and always thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great stadium. Have been here for both sporting events and gigs and both brilliant. The two pint pots are great for not needing to get to the bar as quick. Not much discount for it but you wil take 25p off each pint at stadium prices. Always feel safe there and great atmosphere.

Had the pleasure (usually pain) of having a season ticket in the same seat since I was 18 years old. I’ve been on the 10 year season ticket for most of that too (longest deal ever!). The stadium does need a bit of investment, especially the bar / communal areas which haven’t been updated in years. Hopefully the new owners mean things will start to change.

Went for the tour of this amazing stadium as I wanted to take a look since we had new owners. Great to see shearer's bar back and Shearer's statue where it rightly belongs. The tour was great and the stadium as magnificent as ever overall a nice couple of hours and can't wait to have a chance to come back and see a game or 2. Howay the lads!

If u'r a Geordie lad, you wouldn't be reading this. If u'r not, then likely it's what you aspire to be! St James Park, is the Kingdom of the 'Toon Army, the Legendary Newcastle United, conquerors from the North. Whatever takes you to the North East, deviate from your route and pay us a visit; take a tourist trip around the stadium; take in a home fixture; come by train and stay for the weekend ; you won't want to leave.

We were holidaying in the NE so booked onto the stadium tour. We aren't Newcastle fans but thoroughly enjoyed it - our guide Carol was excellent - very informative and great with all the kids! Would recommend doing this to any football fan if in the area.

First time I've been to the hallowed ground since it was upgraded many years ago. I had an absolute blast! Even if we just managed a draw.

St James' Park is a football lover's paradise! The atmosphere during a match is electrifying, and the iconic stadium stands proudly in the heart of Newcastle. The facilities are top-notch, and the overall experience is memorable. Whether you're a local or a visitor, St James' Park is a must-visit for sports enthusiasts!

Great atmosphere. Easy to access. Staff friendly. Unfortunately football team were below par. A minimum of 11 new signings required notably 2 centre backs who are acquainted with how to defend.

Possibly the greatest football stadium and fans on the planet. The noise, the vibe and the general atmosphere was incredible. Even if you are not a football fan it’s still worth experiencing the noise of the toon army. We went via the wing’s restaurant so got good early access to seats, the food prior to entering was also very good and all of the staff clearly take pride in being part of a a huge team.

I was there for the champions league I was so impressed with the inside. Filled with black and white and large roof area in one corner. The atmosphere was immense and a great result. Lots of kids causing havoc outside which was off putting

Did a stadium tour with my son who is 8. It was a fantastic experience for both of us. Staff are so friendly from the people on reception to the guide who took us around. Brilliant experience for both supporters of NUFC and non supporters. So much history about Newcastle and it's players
