We love this friendly café, the tea and food are great and it was nice and clean. The staff are helpful and don't forget to talk to them about your allergies. Situated within a knitting shop too. We loved it and a great place to meet up with friends.

Excellent as always. I arrived just after closing time. I asked if they would still serve me and they kindly offered to do so without fuss. They had exactly what I required. Much appreciated.

Cosy cafe, friendly staff, lovely food. They had one or two alternative milk alternatives and gluten free cakes as well as gluten free bread. I had a delicious gf bacon sandwich the first time here, then a yummy jacket potato, tuna mayo with salad. £3.70 for a hot chocolate though! I can't afford that very often, but I appreciate with rising fuel costs, they have had to put up their prices.

What a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable place to visit. The cafe side has food that will meet all tastes and they do their best to accommodate everyone's dietary needs. The shop side are so very helpful and equipped with all crafting needs. I will be visiting again for sure.

I love this place! It doesn't have everything I need all the time but it's a great little local shop which I would always check out before going else where! We (me and my 7YO) have made a Sally costume from the nightmare before christmas, an angel for the Christmas tree and we are currently working on a Galadriel costume for world book day! And the staff are fab and friendly and always ask us to show the results at the end of a project!

Whilst on a drive home from a weekend, we looked on line to see if there was anything on our route. The Hive had outstanding reviews and we can confirm they live up to these positive reviews. The food and service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Lovely lunch had here, best and only place in Shepton Mallet for anything decent to eat. Unfortunately the town is a bit run down with loads of empty shops.

What can I say, I took my hubby here this afternoon for a Cream Tea, seeing as we are fast approaching Valentine's Day. We both share a love for a decent homemade scone and have a sneaky sweet tooth. After coming here for my birthday, with my girls, I knew it was the best find. This place is amazing, such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and absolutely beautiful food, Such a hidden treasure 😍❤️👌

We were so impressed by our Afternoon Tea that we will be going again. We booked in advance & my cousin asked for the crusts to be left on our sandwiches, you've got to love a crust! The scone was lovely & we couldn't eat all of the cakes 😋 so a doggy bag was sorted & we took the rest home which i shared & devoured later. The staff were brilliant too.x

What’s fabulous place! Wool, fabric and a variety of crafts AND a great cafe. Super friendly. Our dog got a lot of attention but sadly no sausage sandwich - it was too good to share.

Went in for the haberdashery shop. They were incredibly helpful as I was struggling to choose between 2 different prints. They even smiled and chatted to my baby.

Family business that deserves a shout. Dave, with a special mention to his mum. Always provide a five star service whether your after a bite to eat, crafting or both. Whoever made the three tiered Victoria sandwich today should be very proud. It looked too good to eat! I really appreciate the patience and support shown to me, as an inexperienced knitter as I attempt to explain my next project. The Hive have always gone above and beyond to help me source the necessary materials. A real hidden Gem of Shepton.

Really surprising find. Really good food, decent coffee, homemade cakes and really friendly/welcoming staff. We stumbled across it almost by accident - well worth a visit if looking for a lovely place for lunch.

👍👍 The perfect breakfast! The food is delicious here, I chose the egg and halloumi with avocado on sourdough bread with an earl grey. Really happy, attentive ladies serving us with a smile 😃 we chose the outside seating area, nice and relaxing setting in the heart of the town. We will be back, thank y...

👍 Nice little park in Shepton mallet easy to miss but it's certainly worth a trapes around with a bandstand and small waterway. On Saturday was an open park day and it was very good 👍 the dragon is only there on park open days 😀

👍👍 Ah the place is quite special. Beautiful building. Big windows. Sense of spaciousness. Smiley people who make your coffee. They love my dog Daisy. Sipping coffee under a tree, in a cafe, in Shepton Mallet, was not quite my plan this summer but has proven to be my favorite ritual of the day. Beautif...
