Wow, this restaurant is fabulous. Decor is beautiful. The food is delicious - even the poppadoms were the best we've tasted; super light and crisp. I'm not a hot curry lover (wimp) so chose the Chicken Bernisal, sweet and full of flavour - outstanding. All 7 of us agreed the food was amazing. The staff were lovely; attendant but not intrusive. When they found out one of us was celebrating a birthday they went all out with cake and sparklers. Complimentary shots were a great end to the evening. Highly recommend.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants we have dined in in the UK. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. The team of staff were exemplary - well dressed, professional, courteous and friendly. Inside it's a nice modern design with varying dining areas. We opted for the banquet meal and I have to say each course was pretty much perfect. The timing of courses was flawless - quick to clear the table and next course served straight away, this was very impressive. I was just gutted we didn't manage to finish it all. It can be a bit tricky parking if you're driving here but I just parked down a side road which was only a couple of minutes walk away - the sea front is only 5 minutes stroll away. The Malabar IPA on draught was one of the nicest IPA's I've had👌🏻, I'm going to have to see if I can get it in the shops. Looking forward to our next visit! 😋 Update 13/7/23 - again, as previous, food, venue and staff all excellent!

First time here last night with my work buddies and wow I was well impressed. Service was professional and friendly and the food was unreal. I asked a lot of questions about the vegan options and was given some recommendations which were just delicious. Currently eating my left overs that they happily boxed up for me. I would love to come again some time. I would highly recommend this place.

Really good food at a fair price! Portions are generous. We had takeaway, the staff was very friendly and the food was packed well for walking. We waited a short while for our order and the staff chatted us up, folks in the place were having a great time. Rice was fluffy, we had a few kinds of naan and korma (chicken and king prawn), and onion rice. All of it was great.

Well what can I say. Its very difficult to write anything bad. Food was amazing and I mean truly amazing. Service was first class. I normally try to find something I can pick at but this was genuinely the best Indian meal I have had ever. Very high praise. So if you haven't tried this place I suggest you do.

As soon as you walk in there is a lovely atmosphere, the resteraunt itself has a lovely feel to it and the lovely smells instantly hit you. The tables aren't too close together so you don't feel packed in. The staff are great, really attentive and friendly. The food is brilliant, presented beautifully and so tasty. I can't find a fault with the place, cocktails on offer as well 4 for 25 quid and they were lovely. Would definitely recommend. The prices are pretty standard, not too steep, the two of us had cocktails starters and mains and it came in at around £80. We will be going back.

Travel over 20+ miles to visit as I truly believe this is the best Indian restaurant I've visited. Staff cannot be praised enough. Basically everything is of the highest quality. I'm normally a grumpy old man so getting praise off myself says a lot.

Outstanding meal for partners birthdays the food was the best Indian we've had buy far. Service is fantastic with the addition of a decorated table, birthday balloon and a cake with a firework candle when the staff came over to sing happy birthday my partner was blown away total suprise! It's all he's talked about it really made his day. I cannot thank them all enough for the effort in service and food. We will definitely be spreading the word and making this a monthly treat visit. If you haven't been here yet your missing out. Thankyou to all the team:)

Always a pleasure to eat here. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is always pleasant and the staff are super friendly! Myself and a number of my family go here for our birthday meals out every year and never disappointed. Highly recommend!

The food is outstanding, very well presented and generous portions. We had the Sunday special which was excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and attentive, always polite and cheerful. Really nicely decorated and plenty of space and airy. Would 100% recommend and we will certainly be returning.

Went as a nine person outing for a birthday party. Table was laid with birthday logos and helium balloons. Amazing. Service was great with nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Shampan.

My hubby is so picky when it comes to Indian food, we couldn’t fault the taste it was lovely .If I had any criticism I’d say the nan was particularly small, usually we would half one but this one was for one person. Not bothered enough to loose a star but next time will order a nan each instead of sharing. Owner is very friendly and I was provided with a free drink whilst I waited for my meal. Overall it’s my new go to takeaway

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Price is very good too! Sat in for a meal a few times. The staff are happy to advise on what curry to go for, and the service is just so good! The food is amazing! Also to takeaway, and if you pick it up they offer you a complementary half while you wait! Outstanding restaurant, very well managed and highly recommended. Will be revisiting here (many many times!)

We visited Valentines Day & were warmly greeted & I was welcomed with a red rose 🌹 Immaculate restaurant & table decorated with heart confetti They didn't take advantage of an overpriced Valentines menu as lots of places do. The menu was explained & and the recommendations were given . Great tasting food, delicious & generous portions , plenty to bring home. Extremely professional & great service. We'd highly recommend Shampan Restaurant. I enjoyed cocktails & the waiter noticed my hubby reading his cobra glass & gave him one to bring home. Cheers 🍻

Not often that I give 5 stars but this place definitely deserves it. The staff were great, the food was excellent, good value for money too. Highly recommended.

Just a really nice restaurant, service was impeccable, food was top tier and delicious, just as expected from the fanciness of the restaurant, didn't wow but matched expectations. Meals come in their own dish that you can spoon out onto your plate, so you can either keep or share freely, we got a bunch of dishes for the table and just had a small buffet between us. Could get better service, asked when appropriate if we were doing okay, wanted drinks etc, asked us if we wanted our picture taken when we were trying to selfie the group, nice and quick and polite.

I decided to go to Shampan for my son's 16th birthday. The service was excellent. The food was really good. We all were looked after and the waiters brought out birthday cake with a firework in after we had eaten. Also complimentary shots for the adults ! My son had a great time and so did the rest of my family. Definitely recommended
