Went to arctangent. Wonderful festival. Great spacing between car park, camping and the festival stage.

Lovely place, shame about the ArcTanGent music festival that annoys everyone within a 10 miles radius for 3 days straight. Turn the bass down, this isn't Glastonbury or Cardiff Arena, its the quaint countryside!!!

What a rip off! Thought I'd treat myself to a whole weekend in one of their beautifully advertised shepherds huts on their supposed eco farm. It was such a disappointment. The first thing was that the beautiful soft furnishings from the photo's were non-existent and it was all synthetic and cheap, no soft sheepskins on the settee and greeted by a giant fabreeze type air freshener- not very eco! No water and loo 200m away which was filthy and broken. Given this was 125 per night, I expected an element of luxury. I went to bed only to find the mattress was just on the bare floor with dirt all around- literally crisps, glitter, hair dust, filth that takes months to build up. I was too tired and just went to sleep. In the morning I took a closer inspection- the duvet was mouldy, and the area below my bed was even more filthy. On letting the host know, I just got the cold shoulder. Real shame as the potential for this place to be magic is huge but the lack of care and attention is unforgivable given the huge expense to stay there. It is a dog free farm but due to lots of issues, I had to keep my dog (small spaniel) in my car overnight- this upset the host so much she gave me what she called a 'spot fine' of 25. I couldn't wait to get out of there- she even told me off for letting her cat wander into the hut! Really, this place should cost no more than 50 per night and considered an emergency stop over- not a luxury glamping site. real shame but avoid this place!!!

Beautiful wedding venue located near Cheddar Gorge in a beautiful area of Somerset. The farm has acres of field for the wedding guests to camp so there is plenty of room for everyone. The weather was glorious all weekend which made everything so much easier. Thank you everyone for a great few days when I photographed Emma and Tom's bohemian style wedding there in the Summer. See you all soon.

Huge, don't take too much stuff as you can't take your car to the tents. V windy, your tent has to be good. Make sure you confirm booking with the venue. Cool camping bookings do not go through, v embarrassing.

About 20 of us stayed at Fernhill Farm for my brothers stag do last month. It was incredible. The farm was beautiful and the Barn and Arcs exceeded all our expectations in size and style. Jen was amazingly helpful and nice. She even aided us in scavenging palates from the farm to construct a make shift table tennis table which we set up in the main Hall. The kitchen and BBQ space was more than adequate for cooking up grub for 20 hungry lads and the Fire pit outside was a great touch for seeing out the nights. We got a recommendation on a local pub from Katie and proceeded to trek across the country fields on the Sunday and had a absolute cracking time at the "Ring O' Bells". I would highly recommend the Farm for any Stag or Hen parties looking to get out of the city. Hopefully this is my Brothers only Stag do, but if not we'll definitely be back!

The Arcs are over priced and freezing in the winter, even with the small heater on. There is one toilet/shower between 3 arcs (if fully occupied 8 people) and in the morning we stayed no hot water for a shower. I would not recommend.

A fabulous cosy and very welcoming venue, with lots of quirks! An amazing place to hold a party. My daughter and her friends had a wonderful time.

Perfect place for groups of any sizes to have thier own space and experience being away from the hectic world we live in. Friendly staff, loads of space and great amenities.

Attended wedding at the weekend at Fern Hill Farm. It is a very refreshing venue, really different to the normal wedding. There is lots of character, very secluded, unique and very quirky.

We rented this place for our daughter's handfast ceremony. It fitted the bill perfectly. The place was very well equiped with a large kitchen, there was everything you might need for a lengthy party. Which in our case was from Friday evening til Sunday lunchtime.

😠 We've eaten at hundreds of restaurants and have never experienced such rude and unwelcoming staff before. Guy behind the bar didn't bother to greet us when we walked in and waited in front of him, despite me saying, good evening. Eventually served us drinks but made us wait in the doorway while he m...
