Just spent a lovely weekend at this lovely campsite. Stayed on the electric hook up side (good for the camp fridge and charging). Toilets are of the compost type, and there is plenty of fresh drinking water, no showers though, so we took a camp shower bag. The goats are cute and it was good to get to see them being milked. Tue farm shop is good and has plenty of things you might need. The coffee shop there is great for that wake up pick me up. All in all I will definitely be going back for a longer stay.

Recently stayed at wookey farm, great campsite and lovely location pitches are very big and well set out each pitch with its own fire pit area which is great, very well laid out and easy to navigate around the farm, the river is nice and refreshing and is definitely worth a paddle, the toilet areas are very clean and well presented. All in all a great spot which we’ll definitely be visiting again. Thanks to Ian and Sarah for the effort you’ve put it to make it such a great place and for sharing with us townies.

We visited Wookey Farm campsite with our two young children and 2 friends. The pitch sizes are incredible and enclosed for privacy. Each pitch has a little designated campfire spot. The farm is lovely with pigs, donkeys and goats. We got to have a cuddle with a baby goat and the people there were so friendly and knowledgable about the animals. We also had a little friendly juvenile robin visit our pitch and sit next to us. Our ONLY slight issue was the composting toilets. They were very clean it just wasn't for us :)

Absolutely beautiful spot neighboring the river Axe which flows from Wookey Hole caves. My daughter loved the tyre swing in the camping field and the owners are very friendly and engaging. We did the Tuesday morning farm experience which was fantastic and a great end to our camping holiday. The shop is stocked with lovely local produce, we got some fresh eggs just up the road from the neighbour and had a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Wookey Farm take sustainability seriously and it's great to see informative hand written signs up about what they're doing such as solar panels and tree planting. I was also impressed I could charge my EV and took the opportunity to do so before driving home which saved stopping at a services. My only recommendation is bring wellies or very waterproof boots as the grass in the field was longer than other camp sites I've been to, no doubt because of the diverse flowers and herbs growing there, but in the morning the dew drenches your feet.

Me and me son really enjoyed our stay here. It's perfect distance from wookey hole, cheddar gorge and Glastonbury by car. The Pubs and play park are in walking distance and they also have donkeys, pigs, goats and a little shop on site too. It ticked all the boxes for us. 😊

A hidden gem full of character I wish was closer to home! Watch the goats being milked, pet the donkeys, see the pigs and get some fantastic produce from the shop. A short walk up to the village and an amazing meal at the Ring of Bells. Relaxed atmosphere, camp fire roaring.. love it!
