A hidden gem of a place the waterfall is a great site to see. I found this place by accident walking in the forest. There is old mill ruins close to the waterfall they can be difficult to get to if it has been raining as the ground can be very muddy and slippery.

It’s an amazing place. This is our second visit. There are a lot place nearby for trekking as well. You can freshen up in water, it’s cold though.

Absolutely stunning place with such a magical feel, again it's another area full of so much history with a few damns and the remains of the buildings that once used the river for power and the wild life is equally as fantastic It might be a little tricky a walk for some as there are some slippy areas and lots of winding, up and down paths But perfect to get away from the world take a picnic and enjoy some paddling

When we went it had been raining for some time. Normally it is a bit challenging to get to. Forget buggy friendly, this is buggy hostile. It was wet everywhere and the hillside was it's own damp waterfall. The actual waterfall is ok. The area it is in is not pretty and there isn't a beautiful sight. It's ok by my book.

A nice place to visit, a bit hard getting down to it but worth it when you get there.

Nice view's. Nice waterfall. No way to get there with a pram. Stones are everywhere and they are slippery. Mud around. You can swim in the water under waterfall if you want. But you need to climb.

Really beautiful location, however be warned that even on a warm day it was very muddy and there aren't any real paths there. The walk down was slightly tricky so wouldn't be suitable for someone with mobility issues.

These photos were taken on the North side of the river which is difficult to traverse due to its steepness down. The south side has the waterfall and the mill etc and is easier to access. Good fun though πŸ˜€πŸ‘ŠπŸΎπŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Beautiful, wet & muddy but loved every minute of it. Perfect for walks to have a good explore & sniff around. Perfect for kids too but careful supervision near the edge of the waterfalls as it's very muddy & slippy.

It was a bit muddy to get to but a beautiful waterfall next to an old factory ruin. Very relaxing to listen to and we will come back when its hot and go for a dip.:-)

It’s a good waterfall with some nice ruins although on a rainy day it can get pretty muddy. If your not swimming there’s not really a whole lot to do after you’ve seen it. You can just park on the side of the road, and overall I would recommend although there is no wheelchair access at all

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful walk on a sunny afternoon with my wife and kids. Not busy at all and we had a nice quiet walk where we could take our time and enjoy the views by the river and the kids even managed to put their feet in the freezing water for abit of fun! Be warned that one side of the river bank is a shee...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Unexpected. We came across the Fairies Chapel by accident really whilst walking the dogs. Stunning rocky gorge and series of waterfalls. Love the whole of the nature reserve for its beauty and historical interest
