Highly recommended! Wow, wow, wow what can I say except wow! Delicious meal could not fault one little bit. I have been to this restaurant a couple of times before and was very impressed but tonight I'm blown away! My partner and I have already booked a table for a night in a month when we were leaving ❤️

Shhhhh.. Keep this place quiet. Awesome little restaurant serving amazing food. Really friendly, down to earth staff. Also makes a great evening out from Edinburgh by train over to the Forth rail bridge.

Hidden gem near Edinburgh. Beautiful dining room up a flight of stairs. Kitchen & staff were super friendly and accommodating of our time constraints. The mussels and pork steak were particular highlights. The vegan option was a little less interesting, but I chalk that up to seitan being seitan. You should save room for the tarte tatin. Added bonus, super reasonable bill.

Lovely restaurant tucked away in the quiet town of north queensferry. The turbot and lobster were exceptional, shame we did not have space for dessert! Was very impressed that they had 0% alcohol prosecco!!! 🥂

We do enjoy the Wee Restaurant in N Queensferry. Just a short hop on the train from Edinburgh and then a wee walk to the waterfront. Restaurant is calm and unpretentious. Good range of clientele when we were there. Sign its for everyone. Food is wholesome and flavourable. No doubt something for everyone. Meat, fish and veggie look like they are catered for. Desserts for me have always been a winner. Good range of specials - including cocktails! Staff are friendly and unfussy. Get the feeling we will be back again.

Visited this lovely restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious, everything everyone ate was top notch. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is expensive however definitely an experience and worth visiting!! Nice location too with a great view of the bridge around the corner

Gezellig restaurantje, tomaten gazpacho voorgerecht was heel goed van smaak! 8oz filet steak was erg goed bereid. Tarbot was helaas niet fantastisch. Mosselen als voorgerecht waren heel goed! Bediening was goed, niet fantastisch. Toch wel aanrader, alhoewel prijzig. Edit: because of owners reaction, I guess some explanation is needed: Food remarks and tip for improvement (although this is solely based on one experience and also related to our food preferences) the turbot fish was not seasoned well and therefore was a bit tasteless. Then the waiters: for a perfect service (read 5 star experience) I think the waiters should be dressed appropriate and when possible in style. Also the waiters should be knowledgeable, but I got the sense the younger waiters were still in training; these experiences lead to my reaction. Final point; I made a reservation just a few hours before I could eat and so I started my diner at 20.30. So there was no full evening experience expected, but we still got the sense of rushing our diner; you were cleaning up and preparing for the next day while we were still eating. And yes, you were very helpful and attentive at the end and I appreciated your tips. My tip at the end of the diner reflected this in part. For me this is the difference between a very professional restaurant and a good restaurant. I hope you see my review as positive and can build on my experience. I wish you luck with the restaurant.

Fine Scottish Cuisine. Come a few minutes early and take in some stunning views of the Firth of Forth bridge - that should wet your appetite! A dour grey Scottish exterior opens in to a welcoming, casual & tastefully decorated dining area. The limited menu (good!) showcases some of the best local seasonal Scottish produce. Dishes are well cooked and presented; recognisable and tastefully done. Reasonable selection of reasonably priced wines. Pleasant service. Well worth a visit and look forward to a return visit.

Took my partner here for a birthday meal out. Beautiful little place - small inside but enough space to enjoy an ultimate meal. Lovely decor and comfortable seating. The food was amazing. Scallops with black pudding, beef cooked perfectly, soup, black bean spaghetti all delicious. The desserts to dye for. The waitress was lovely - down to earth and jut the right side of attentive. Would definitely recommend. If I was to ask for anything, it would be a chicken dish however this is just my preference and certainly would not stop me going back again.
