Rosslyn Chapel has been an amazing experience! We ordered our timed tickets on line (it is recommended on the main website for Rosslyn Chapel), came in from Edinburg by bus (super easy, highly recommend). The little cafe on site has wonderful coffee and pastries, if you get hungry. The talk by the guide Neil about the Chapel history was excellent and informative, highly recommend staying for these free little lectures, you will appreciate the Chapel that much more.

Loved that place. The employee telling stories about the chapel got me captivated and I wanted more when she finished! Beautiful little chapel. I recommend walking down to the castle (what's left of it) and the bridge. Makes great photos! No camera or phone inside the chapel.

What a stunning chapel. The huge number of carvings and their individual quality is stunning. The highlight, though was the talk we received in the Chapel. A knowledgeable guide and a fascinating history, all delivered with authority and humour. What a fabulous way to spend a couple of hours. It's also worth taking a few minutes to visit what's left of the castle - not much to see, but use your imagination! Also, the tea and cakes are fantastic!!

A fabulous place to visit, I would certainly recommend seeing it. Full of unusual and intriguing carvings on all the interior walls and pillars. Not all the carvings have yet been explained which adds to the mystery but those which have provide wonderful stories. (Note, no photographs are allowed inside the chapel) There is a really good cafe and gift shop on site too.

Beautiful Chapel with a rich history dating back to the 1400's! The architecture is a blend of numerous time periods. This chapel was used in the filming of "The DaVinci Code". Absolutely fascinating!

Been here twice, first one when it was undergoing some restoration so I had to come back 10 years later. This Chapel is full of mystery if you immerse yourself with the history. Photography is not allowed inside. However, they will allow you to take photos inside through the door outside.... so if you have a nice lens... well

Absolutely stunning evening visit to Rosslyn Chapel. Such a beautiful, ornate interior with lots of interesting things to discover. The guide was interesting and knowledgeable, and, although the Chapel does not have the chequered history of some religious buildings, I can definitely recommend a visit.

Have wanted to visit here since reading the Da Vinci Code and it did not disappoint. The architecture is stunning and the history feeds the imagination. Its a self guided tour and I would recommend taking a seat in the pews and looking up at the ceiling to take it all in. The welcome centre is very nice, staff were very friendly and helpful, explained the story of William The Cat who lived at the Chapel for years until recently. Had a quick brunch of sweet potato & coconut soup with mini rolls and it was delicious. The cakes looked great too but I resisted. All in all it was a lovely visit and the weather was sunny too couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend.

Smaller than I expected but beautiful. The guide was quite engaging and the history was fascinating. Lovely place to visit. Interesting architecture and symbols. Unfortunately you can't take photos inside.

Fabulous atmospheric place to visit for all sorts of reasons. Great 15 talk. Keep your tickets and with a form and a passport photo you can get free entrance for a year. No pictures allowed inside but it's really worth a visit

We had a lovely visit to Rosslyn Chapel. There is so much to learn in the visitor centre but still nothing can prepare you for the amount of amazing details and carvings in the chapel. It is so detailed and you can spend so much time looking at the wide selection of carved subjects. Plenty of information is provided throughout as well as a short presentation by a guide. Within the visitor centre is a nice cafe area and shop and plenty of activities for keeping young visitors entertained.

The staff in the store are very kind and friendly! It's a church rich in history but it is known mostly because of the movie Da Vinci Code by Tom Hanks. A must see tourist spot! Bucket list worthy!

No photos inside, buy a book. Beautiful, much smaller than I imagined. Loved the talk put on by guide, learned so much. Sad that older restoration efforts forever changed the original colors of the stone. Loved my visit.

This was one of the best things I have ever visited. There is so much history and art in one place it's unreal and it's all fascinating and beautiful! I'd fully recommend this place and try to get yourself a tour as you'll miss so much if you don't know what your looking for.

Wonderful place. Well organized entry and a nice gift shop too. There is just this one chapel to look at but it keeps you occupied for around two hours. There was a short talk inside the chapel which I found to be very captivating. Can't take pictures inside the chapel so you'll have to go to see a few things.
