Excellent anti-racing rescue kennels - two kennel blocks with raised heated beds indoors and covered outdoor runs - a yard for playing and secure field for exercising. Knowledgeable staff, manager a former veterinary nurse and loads of willing volunteers. Kennels are cleaned and disinfected every day and the dogs are on a high quality diet. Adoption checks are quite rightly thorough. The track to reach the kennels is bumpy but if you go slow it's OK.

As I work there I am biased but everyone that works/volunteers for ccgt love the dogs as our own and we want the best home for them as possible as they haven't had the best start. Everyone works very hard to keep the kennels and their rooms clean and warm, in the colder months and cool, in summer months. They have duvets and blankets to snuggle up in, on raised beds (that have radiators under them). Help/advice is always given to new fur mum and dads if needed, as even tho they have left the nest to their forever families, they are still part of the big ccgt family. 💚💚💚

My boy was lucky enough to be born at Sun Valley, as his mum was abandoned heavily pregnant and Jane took her in. He gets so excited when we pop in for a visit and ADORES the staff. Clean and beautiful, with acres of paddocks, heated beds with duvets, gourmet food and oodles of treats and cosy coats. I wish we could all move in!

We collected Bobbi (aka Connie) two days ago and couldn't be happier! Each time we've visited the kennels, the staff/volunteers could not have been more helpful and friendly. They were always happy to give advice and answer all our questions. It's obvious that they all greatly care for the hounds and want to ensure they go to the best homes. We dealt mainly with Kat who obviously paid attention to our personal circumstance and wishes so she (and presumably Jane) paired us up with the ideal dog for us. Grace was also enthusiastic and really helpful when we visited. We can't praise them enough for their care and attention both to the dogs and us as new owners.

First class facilities for ex racing hounds & lurchers before finding their new homes. Staff super friendly and cannot recommend enough. 👌

Jane and her team of paid Staff and dedicated volunteers, ensure that each dog is lovingly rehabilitated and placed in the right home; for dog & owner! The facilities are always clean, warm and inviting for the dogs with a huge paddock for exercise. Jane is an ex veterinary nurse and on hand to deal with medical issues usually anytime day or night and it is down to this dedication and support, that people return to adopt time & time again.

Adopting a puppy from this organisation. Love and care to all the hounds they deal with and seem to only allow sensible adoptions. We have a cat who hasn't dealt with dogs before and rather than just allow us to take an adult dog - we were properly vetted, had chats and visits and were advised perhaps not to proceed with the adult route for the sake of our cat. They take adoption seriously and to the right homes.

What a fabulous rescue centre who really care for their dogs and look for the best suited home for them. All staff and volunteers are lovely and friendly, 2nd dog we have rehomed and no pressure at all, happy to take things slowly for the sake of the dogs
