What a great tour. Two hours of full Beatles entertainment. For only £20(adult) you get to visit so many of the fab 4s locations, including where they grew up. Where they played and even places of song inspiration, like strawberry fields and penny lane. You get the chance to get of the MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR coach to take photos. The driver and especially the tour guide were very friendly, very informative and funny. At the end you get a lovely post card, free entry in to the famous cavern and 15% off food in the cavern restaurant, all in the £20 price. This is a must for Beatles and music lovers. Book you ticket NOW! 😂.

This bus tour was great. Got to see all the childhood homes of the Beatles. The bus stopped at these locations so we could see them up close and take pictures. The guide and bus driver were great but sadly I don't remember their names. We were dropped off at the Cavern where they started it all

I with two other family members went on the M.M.T bus as we are quite keen on the Beatles. The ticket office staff were friendly and helpful and informed us when the coach arrived. We were greeted by the tour guide and the driver and got on an almost full coach ready to depart. The tour takes you round Liverpool districts where any of the fab four were: birth places, childhood homes, schools, work, Penny lane, Strawberry fields. You also see the various parks and high streets in the affluent suburbia. If you like (who wouldn't?) you can get off at the following stops: Penny Lane, Strawberry fields, George's birth place and Paul's childhood house (National Trust). Before George's, the SMALLEST HOUSE in England is right by the bus stop.(..!) The tour guide was very enthusiastic and passionate about his subject and had a cracking sense of humour with the tourists. At the end you can go into the Cavern club on Mathew st. (NOT the cavern pub on the left)for free using your ticket. You don't even have to be a big fan of the band to go on this tour as it's a good way to see local landmarks. I'd recommend taking a drink with you as the tour is approx. two hours and when we went [22/04/22] it was rather warm - but pleasant weather. Overall, it is VERY GOOD VALUE for money.

Fantastic tour! I was leery of doing a bus tour but this was the perfect way to cover a lot of ground quickly and with an knowledgeable resource. The guides were helpful and not annoying. The bus was comfortable and the other riders were polite. The stops made along the way are incredible to see - Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, all their houses, the church where they met - and I don't think we would have gotten around to see them all on our own.

Brilliant tour, worth every penny. If you are thinking of doing the magical mystery tour bus, DO IT! It's a great trip over 2 hours which is so interesting, visiting all the key locations including the houses of the members and the locations of penny lane and strawberry field. Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions put to him. The trip starts at the docks and finishes at the cavern club where we also had a voucher for free entry as well as a discount at the restaurant. Definitely a 5* experience

The Tour was absolutely fantastic. Funny, dynamic, informative and emotive. Dale was our Tour guide along the ride and Ross was our driver. I thank them both for their quality of service. Definitely recommended. There are only 2 things capable to unite people from all over the world: music and love. The Magical Mystery Tour has them both and it is a MUST for any Beatles fan! Cheers from Argentina🇦🇷

Absolutely sensational! Dale and Dave made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience with their love for the Beatles and passion for making the tour truly special. Both me and my 9-year-old son absolutely loved it so much and would do it again tomorrow if we could. Thanks for letting him pose as the driver!

Wow! This was the best part of my trip to Liverpool. For 20 pounds, you get to see all the magical places associated with The Beatles. The tour not only takes you down the Beatles memory lane, but makes you nostalgic about your own life. I liked the tour guide very much. So passionate about The Beatles and great scouse humor. You could not ask for more. In all, 2 hours full of Beatles stories and music. I would gladly go again.

This tour was a lot of fun. Dale is a great tour guide as was Tony the driver. Very informative and entertaining too. I consider myself a huge Beatles fan but still learned a lot of new facts about the Fab Four as well as a lot about the city of Liverpool itself. The tour takes you past all their childhood homes (except Ringo which you see from the coach). I don’t wanna go into too much detail about everything you see right. I would highly recommend this tour to both people who are new to the Beatles or have a passing interest and to those who are hard-core Beatle fans.

This tour is an absolute must. Great value for the two hour tour. Online booking was very straightforward and electronic tickets ready to use. Only hiccup was I didn't pick up the paper tickets when we boarded. You need these for entry to the cavern club and for discount in the restaurant. Luckily we got them as we left the tour. Top tip: make sure you go to the toilet before you get to the bus as we couldn't find toilets around the stop and the bus didn't have one. Dale was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Great to listen to someone so funny and enthusiastic. Dave was our driver and he got us around the route safely and arranged a toilet stop along the way. If you use the loo you will miss George Harrison's home though as the stop is only a short stop. We were so lucky that it was a fabulously sunny day with Eurovision in town so Liverpool was looking at it's best. We all thoroughly enjoyed all the facts, seeing where the magic of the Beatles started and even singing along to some of their best hits. This is one of the best tours I've ever been on. I personally am not a big Beatles fan however I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my friends and family. Beatles magical mystery tour - it was certainly magical and that's down to Dale and Dave. I can't recommend this tour enough for a fun couple of hours in Liverpool.

I love the Beatles, and being on a bus full of other Beatles fans was amazing. Charlie was our guide and he was absolutely amazing, he was funny, knowledgeable, and made our day amazing. Dennis was a great driver, also very knowledgeable. When we would hop off the bus and take pictures of the sites, he would stay behind with the bus and when my wife and I would come back, he would hit us with more information and not just about the Beatles, but about Liverpool in general. We came here as one stop on our honeymoon and it was 100% worthwhile. If I am ever back I will honestly do it again. 10/5 stars.

We were very impressed with the Beatles Magical Mystery bus tour and had a great time. Our tour guide Dale was very knowledgeable and our driver, Dave was absolutely lovely. They both made us feel very welcome and we had a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend 🤩

After getting a rather pompous, didactic and directional lecture (we dared approach the bus itself, rather than queue at the bus stop until it arrived) from the Tour guide, things improved when the Tour got underway. The coach was comfortable (but not all seats offered good legroom for tall people like myself). Put some real depth into the early lives of The Beatles. It was actually rather emotional seeing the very basic homes of Ringo and George and then on to the much posher starts for John and Paul. Ironic that John lived in the best house but was usually the most vocal ‘working class, Beatle. Also the Tour offers you stops at the iconic Penny Lane and Strawberry Field sites, where you can leave the coach for photos. It also stops outside George’s and Paul’s houses for similar coach leaving photo opportunities. Brian Epstein’s sumptuous former family house is also driven past. Beatles songs relevant to the areas play as the drive progresses. The Guide is clearly very knowledgeable about both the city and the history of the Band. The Tour ends near the reconstructed Cavern Club. Show your Tour tickets on the door for free one time entry.

So glad I did this tour! This is the first time I’ve been to Liverpool and wanted to do a few touristy things so thought the Magical Mystery Bus Tour would be a good place to start and it definitely lived up to expectations! Dale was our tour guide and Tony was the bus driver and they were both great. Dale got everyone involved (we were only a small group) he was extremely informative and I honestly can’t believe how much he knew! He was also very good at speaking clearly (no ‘umms’ or space filler words) so you could tell he was an expert and had been doing it for a while! Tony was a great driver - no harsh stops or stopping the bus in dangerous places. The tour itself was probably just the right length, we saw all the famous Beatles sites and we made a few stops outside significant places that we could take photos of. We were very lucky in that our tour was on a Monday mid-morning so traffic didn’t impact the tour. I would highly recommended doing this tour if you’re a Beatles fan, a Liverpool fan or even if you’re looking for a fun and informative tourist excursion to do!

I guess it was ok. Had a rough start … the guy at the reception had a big problem of attitude. Not even said hi, just rushing me to show him the reservation in a bad way. Then into the ‘magical mystery’ bus (no toilet so make sure to find yourself a restroom before) … the guide was a likeable guy yet not much approachable when talked to. I guess this tour complies with what you’d expect (reach further places in Liverpool to see the Beatles’ birth houses or iconic areas like Strawberry Field or Penny Lane). There was absolutely no vibe within the group, and the overall sensation was of being in a prefabricated and worn tour. They give you a card with grants you free access to the (paid !!!) Cavern Club since it’s the same company. Left with a bittersweet sensation so I wouldn’t recommend it. It felt effortless, mechanic, plastic. Just another exploitation of the otherwise great, great band. Sorry guys!

We came to Liverpool for one day for this purpose right here. We were not disappointed! Neil our tour guide was informative, funny and entertaining. Dennis the bus driver is the real star of it all though. Driving this bus on these roads is an art that he has mastered! This tour is a must do. It's affordable, you get to go to all of the important places and then some! The added Cavern Club entrance and restaurant discount are the cherry on top. Do this tour and hope you get as lucky as we did to get Neil and Dennis!

A great way to see Liverpool, Beatles sights, and meet people! Our driver Dennis (I don't know how he sneaks that bus down some of the streets) was awesome - Tony provided colour details, lots of laughs and his own story was cool too (his Mom lived just down the way from Paul's house). I'd do this trip next time we're visiting for sure!

Absolutely book up & go on this tour! It was brilliant. The tour guide Charlie was so knowledgeable & friendly, kept us all going during the 2 hour tour. Added bonus is the entry into the Cavern, it's a must see! We never felt rushed & had plenty of opportunities to get photos during the 4 stops. The music was great too!

While there were lots of original memorabilia here, I personally didn’t like how some of the posters were ordered and how cramped some bits felt. I personally didn’t use the headphones so I stuck to reading and sometimes the posters would jump back and forth in time which was a little bit confusing. Also many times people would huddle and obscure the view it is h post a so you can’t really see them. However, if anyone is a big Beatles fan I’m sure they’d love it.

Went on the tour today and it was fantastic. Tour guide Neil and driver Dave were brilliant, Dave driving was really good as there was a few tight spaces he got through brilliantly. Neil was so knowledgeable and he was so funny too. Would recommend going with this tour when in Liverpool, had a great time. Margaret and Mike from Glasgow

We had a fantastic time! Our tour guide, Charlie, and driver, Alan, truly made our day great, even though it was warmer than we were expecting England to be! We had so much fun visiting so many historical Beatles locations and will recommend to anyone coming this way!

Excellent value and informative. Neil Banner was the host with the most and Alan the skilled driver. A great way to see the Liverpool that helped to shape the Beatles, their homes, the places that inspired their songs and their relationships. Included is a visit to the famous Cavern club. This is a tour that is truly magical and not to be missed!

If you are a Beatles fan this tour should be top of your list. Tour guide Neil is an encyclopedia of Beatles knowledge and driver Ross was great too. Great sense of humour which made it all. Went to all the childhood places of the Beatles. Top notch.

Did not take tour. It sold out! Recommend buying tickets from company website as soon as possible. I wanted to take this tour, but could not solidify my plans until 72 hours prior to arrival. But by then, the tour was sold out. The guys at the ticket counter were sympathetic, and suggested another company's on-off tour.

The Beatles Museum in Liverpool is a must-visit for any fan of the Fab Four. It's a comprehensive look at the band's history, from their humble beginnings in Liverpool to their global superstardom. The museum is divided into a number of themed exhibits, each of which tells a different chapter in the Beatles' story. There are exhibits on their early days, their rise to fame, their groundbreaking music, and their enduring legacy. The museum has a large collection of Beatles memorabilia, including instruments, costumes, awards, and personal belongings. There are also interactive exhibits that allow visitors to learn more about the band's music and influence. The audio tour is a great way to learn about the Beatles' history, especially if you're not already familiar with the band. The tour is narrated by Beatles experts and includes interviews with the band members themselves. However, I found the audio tour to be a bit too detailed for my liking. Some of the information was very technical and could have been made more accessible to casual fans. I also felt that the tour could have been more immersive or lively. Another minor complaint is that the numbering for the exhibits was slightly confusing. I noticed that many seniors, including myself, were confused about where to go next. Overall, I would recommend the Beatles Museum to any fan of the band. It's a great place to learn about the Beatles' history and to see some of their most iconic artifacts. However, if you're not a fan, you may find the audio tour to be too detailed and the exhibits to be a bit confusing. **My recommendation:** * If you're a casual fan of the Beatles, I would recommend visiting the museum without the audio tour. You can still learn a lot about the band by reading the exhibit descriptions and looking at the artifacts. * If you're a serious fan of the Beatles, I would recommend taking the audio tour. It's a great way to learn more about the band's history and to get insights from Beatles experts. I hope this helps!

Very good, not great, tour of many Beatles related places in Liverpool. The stops are a little short given the number of people having to get off and get back on the bus every time, and you end up losing your seat as a result. The narration throughout was interesting and very informative, with anecdotes that make it more personal. The vouchers for the Cavern Club, restaurant and the souvenir is ok value. For the money, if you are about 3-4 person party then i would check out the Liverpool Beatles Taxi tour instead. That’s actually better value for the money.

Always wanted to see some of these iconic places which have been etched into my brain over decades of listening to The Beatles. Will never hear some of the songs in the same way again now! Special mention of Dale who does what he does incredibly well and is full of passion, brilliant tour guide, brilliant tour, brilliant city.

Neil was an awesome tour guide. My mom and I took a train from London to Liverpool in one day for this! As a huge Beatles fan it meant so much to her. Every stop was interesting and exciting. The cavern was the perfect ending. Seeing a rainbow was the icing on the cake.

I went on the Magical Mystery Tour recently with my husband, daughter and visitors from Kentucky. We all throughly enjoyed seeing the names associated with Beatles songs in person. Also seeing their former homes. Neil’s commentary was informative and he had a great sense of humour. The driver, Dennis, also did a superb job. The people on the tour covered a wide age range which surprised and pleased me.

Just finished a great tour. Excellent tour guide and bus driver in Neill and Ross. Some fun stories and stops at important Beatles locations like Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. As well it’s an interesting look at parts of Liverpool one usually doesn’t travel through.

What a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours we had on this tour. Our tour guide Neil was fab, his knowledge of the Beatles was outstanding. The tour took in all the famous sights such as Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane and also the houses where they were born and raised. Great value which included free admission to the Cavern Club. The banter between Neil and the coach driver Dave was also most enjoyable. Would highly recommend

What a fabulous and informative tour. Insightful and entertaining. Although it was a cold, wet, day in March the tour was delivered in an enthusiastic and friendly way by our tour guide and driver (Neil and Russ) on a warm and comfortable coach. The places visited, among them Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields and former homes of the band (and many other places too) gave relevance to many of their songs. An added bonus was the free entry to the iconic Cavern Club which I can also recommend as a fabulous must see experience. Well worth every penny.

Did the trip with Dave the driver and Jay the guide and all I can say is what an amazing tour with the best guys ever! They made our trip with their banter and Jay was fabulous, clear spoken with immense knowledge..would definitely recommend and do it again but with Jay! Xx 😊💯👏

Really informative and enjoyable tour. Our driver Ross and Host (the kid brother of Holly Johnson, of Frankie Goes To Hollywood) were excellent - very friendly and clearly passionate about what they did, happy to answer impromptu questions and just generally good guys. The photo-ops at Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, Paul MC's and George Harrison's home were added to with stops outside John and Ringo's homes and many more. It helped you understand the chemistry between the band. Lastly, the tour tickets get you into the Cavern Club free, instead of a £5 cover charge and 15% off food (we just had loaded fries which were spot on and decent portions). Overall, highly recommended. Cheers

Had a great day Sunday 19th Sept with my daughter. Great seeing where it all began. Tony, our guide, was great and knowledgeable. It was my birthday that day along with 4 other people on the bus, which was a surprise. Well worth 2 hours of your life. A must for any Beatles fan or anyone who would like to get a bit more knowledge on the fab four. "There are places i remember all my life". This was one of them.
