Anthony’s bistro were the best thing to happen to our wedding! From the first meeting with had with Jon and Anthony, we were made to feel like nothing was ever too much and our ideas taken and ran with. From recommending supplies and having multiple meetings with them to help us plan all the little details of the day. They were not there because it was their jobs, but because they loved what they were doing. All this before I mention how amazing they are in the kitchen, what they can do it a middle of the field most chefs dream of. They were happy to take our suggestions and improve them. When the week of the wedding came they were with us in the prep work, being more like friends and families than suppliers. I don’t know how much more I can say about how great they are and you will not regret saying yes to the caterers!

Where do I start!? From the very first conversation with Jon, we knew we were in safe hands with our wedding catering! We were not after your average wedding food, and Anthony's did not disappoint! We had canapes served during our drinks reception Greek style sharing boards for our main with beautiful sharer deserts for after. None of our requests seemed like too much and Anthony's exceeded our expectations on the day! There was such an abundance of well cooked, tasty food and we had amazing feedback from our guests, hearing it was the best wedding food they had ever had says it all! We used Anthony's Catering for our school speech day which involved catering for 150 people. The experience was extremely positive from the outset. Jon, was practical and friendly with his advice on menu suggestions and we were able to quickly decided on a menu and the logistics of the event. On the day, the team arrived promptly and set about preparing with the minimal of fuss. I was able to leave them to it and the whole event went very smoothly. The food was delicious and we have had brilliant feedback from parents. We will definitely use Anthony's again.

The team at Anthony's Bistro catered for our wedding last weekend and we can't recommend them enough. Everything was absolutely perfect with the food, the presentation and the general organisation of it all. We had so many comments from our guests saying how lovely the food was. Nothing was too much trouble for the team in the run up to the day and on the day itself. We had regular contact with them during the planning process so that we could be assured that everything was sorted before the big day which took away a lot of the stress. The menu itself was amazing and they really captured our personal tastes within the food choices. We would 100% recommend them and will definitely use them again ourselves in the future if we require catering for an event.

Anthonys catered our Ascot Race Day held at Nuneaton Old Eds Rugby Club this weekend. I just wanted to thank Jon, and his team for the amazing Afternoon Tea for 65 people it was amazing. Everyone commented on the quality and how tasty it was. Many saying it was one of the best Afternoon teas they have had. We advertiesd the event tkts to let everyone know that Anthony’s were catering it. The serving staff were great and very helpful. We had a lovely enjoyable day. We had our wedding in a marquee on a beautiful sunny day in May, and Anthony's Catering certainly made the day incredibly special! Jon and his team were always very friendly and so helpful throughout the whole process, from phone and video calls planning the wedding, to detailed written information, to setup the day before and on the day service - we couldn't have asked for more! Nothing was too much trouble and Jon helped take away any stress when it came to the planning for food and drink on the day. And this isn't even to mention the food! We (and all of our guests) couldn't believe the quality and speed of food that came out of a relatively small catering tent in a field for 130 people! The canapés were filling and tasty, the starters and mains were DELICIOUS and even the biggest food critics at the wedding said the hog roast was the best they'd ever had. They even ensured we as grooms didn't miss out on canapés when we were having photos taken, by ensuring we got our own plates delivered. Every allergy/dietary request/(fussy groom) was taken into consideration and every guest felt truly catered for. Thank you all again.

ONE WORD… EPIC!! We had Anthony’s cater for our wedding a couple of weeks ago and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more from them! We first met Jon when we went to view the field that would be housing our Tipi and wedding venue. It was by chance that Jon was there and we knew straight away that we wanted to work with him. Jon worked closely with my wife to ensure that the food was perfect for our big day and good god, Anthony’s did not disappoint! The food was to die for, the service was outstanding and the constant support and guidance was just incredible. We worked with Jon over the coming months towards the wedding and he was supportive, every step of the way. They were amazing on the day! They served our food, waited on us hand foot and finger with absolutely everything, staffed the bar, made sure everyone had a drink at all times and helped my mum carry out the wedding cake that she’d spent weeks on! They even saved us some pudding and evening food as they could see we were too wrapped up in everything else and hadn’t had any. We honestly couldn’t recommend Anthony’s enough! We booked Anthony's Catering in January 2022 for our wedding in May 2023 however 6 months before the wedding they pulled out. We knew the caterer was extremely important and booked Anthony's far in advance of the big day. We spoke initially by phone and met in person in Nuneaton. We found Jon very knowledgeable and we liked that they offered a bespoke service so we could have whatever we wanted on our wedding day. We started emailing back and forth in the autumn to refine our menu. Then out of the blue we received an email stating that "they would not be able to cater for our wedding". This was quite a shock and we instantly called the company to try and discuss this over the phone. Over the next 72 hours we called 8 times only to get a voicemail every time. We followed up with an email asking for a call and explaining that there must have been a misunderstanding. Unfortunately we never spoke to them over the phone and only received a response by email. We both feel that they dealt with the situation very unprofessionally. They should have called to discuss their concerns and they should have taken our call after cancelling our agreement. The relationship ended very suddenly and was extremely upsetting. They have returned our deposit payment and now we are in search for another caterer.

I'm so glad I found this place online as I would never have thought to visit from just walking past! This unassuming little restaraunt nestled between a nail salon and pet shop is a real hidden gem. Beautiful food, the FRIENDLIEST service and a great atmosphere complete with swinging 60s soundtrack. The presentation was Michelin quality... but with "proper" sized portions! The smoked haddock scotch quail eggs and baileys creme brulee were our food highlights. Wish it were a bit nearer home so we could come back and try everything else on the menu!! Thank you for a great meal.

Anthony’s catering provided our wedding food and it was amazing! We had so many guests commenting on how great the meal was, some saying it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! We had a hog roast that never seemed to end, so much food and so tasty! We also had the perfect breakfast spread the next day, so much choice and wonderful cooked selection. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Jon was so lovely to work with and helped us form the perfect menu and day. Such great food and lovely people. The best combo!

Food was excellent, friendly service great value

Always a delightful experience at Anthony’s. Sunday lunch is a reasonable £25 for 3 courses, you won’t leave here feeling hungry as the portions are decent. Every meal comes with a Yorkshire pudding as it should and with the meats there is a choice of beef, pork, chicken or a mix. Always a fish option and the vegetarian choice of beetroot and butternut squash Wellington was well received on this occasion. Under £5 for a decent glass of wine what more could you ask for. Staff are always friendly as well, a pleasure to eat here.

Excellent festive taster meal, worth every penny! Loved the concept of no menu until the end of the meal! It kept us really entertained talking about each course! Highly recommended…but be warned tables get booked up very quickly!

Amazing friendly little bistro , Had an amazing valentines dinner .. mini scotch eggs were amazing for the starter , filet of beef was beautiful and the chicken dish was moist and flavourful . I will look forward to go back soon

I will get it off my chest now. I really wanted to try the Bistro food menu items, but this wasn’t available on the Saturday afternoon. This, in many respects is a good thing. Why? After trying the afternoon tea at Anthony’s I mentally booked my return ticket to try the Sunday lunch and the evening bistro menu food. The attention to detail of the quality food produce was exceptional. I loved every aspect about Anthony’s from the humble, salt of the earth, homely service. The cute, family run atmosphere of the bistro. The small interior touches and detail that added interest and raised a smile. It’s no wonder the restaurant is packed out. Most were there to celebrate birthdays; I could see why. You don’t feel like a customer, Anthony’s takes you to heart, you become part of its extended family. I left paying pittance for an experience that was above and beyond my highest expectations. This is my favourite bistro. If only there were more places like this. I do hope in future there is an uprising by food lovers. An event where we all kindle our BK’s, nuke our nuggets and blacken our Big Macs. Bring real food made with passion back to the masses. We need more Anthony’s Cafe Bistros in our lives.

We were so incredibly lucky to stumble across Anthony's Bistro on Hitched.co.uk, having decided to reschedule/ rearrange our wedding with just 10 weeks notice. Jon and Anthony were so passionate and receptive to our ideas from the moment we first made contact with them and the choice of food was limitless. This gained further momentum as we met them at our venue, followed by a tasting night at the Bistro. The day itself was smoothly run, almost effortlessly, thanks to the amazing support staff.
