Brilliant place, food was awesome!! Everything done to perfection. Staff were great, and even the manager had time to speak to us, making sure everything was OK, all in all, WELL recommended, and we will definitely be back.

Superb decor, very thoughtfully done. Excellent food. The staff is very charming. Loved and enjoyed the place thoroughly. Great place to dine. The portion size is a bit too large, also the place is a bit expensive.

As soon as you arrive you're greeted by friendly staff who are in character as cow boys and girls. Quick to seat you but a bit of a wait for our drinks, the food came out faster than the drinks which we had to ask where they were. The food was nice tho the steaks were a tiny bit over cooked than we asked for, there's plenty of it so you won't starve. The sundaes are soo good. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and I will go back at some point

Great place for steaks. The wild west atmosphere adds to the experience. I notice the background music is on repeat so every 30 minutes it starts again...but loved it anyway. The service was slick, and the staff were all still wearing face masks 😷, but social distancing is a thing of the past. The place was busy, but we still were looked after very well. Even down to the Birthday Buster delivery the clanging and singing......

Have traveled 38 states of America over 20years...Smith and Western is the most authentic Western bar/restaurant I've been to. Burger was best husband has ever had. My prawns and vegan slaw was amazing. Great portions too. 11/10 guys

We went there for Saturday night dinner and we had to wait about 20 minutes even though we had pre-booked a table. The service is ok not too charming and not too lazy, but you have to wait to get your order. The food is good and their steak is not too different than other steak restaurants. The environment is really fascinating and enjoyable for the family and the kids. The parking area is spacious and you can find a spot easily. The only downside is the wait time for getting a table and the wait for getting the order.

We visited on Saturday 7th January 2023 to celebrate my Mother in Laws birthday. My husband and I haven't visited in many years and it was the first time for our daughter. Sam was very kind and helpful when choosing the table for us. He was lovely and even complimented our daughters Cowboy Hat! We had Katie as our server. She was lovely too. Our food and drinks orders were taken and food arrived in good time. Katie kept in touch with us, checking on us to make sure all was OK. We had a very enjoyable evening. Our daughter loved it too and wants to come back for her birthday.

Went on a Saturday which is always busy, good atmosphere but can be very loud and crowded. Food was amazing, plenty of choices for all preferences and allergies. Steak was cooked perfectly and over all very enjoyable. We did wait 70 minutes for our food once we had ordered which is the only downside but we did understand that is was very busy. Other than that very delicious food and service is good

Great thanks 👍 We all had our birthdays today so we were all given hats to wear. Tried selling us Pims all the time, no freebies for our birthdays 😔 Free parking outside 😁. Very near the multi story car park to. It's next to the Train station if you want to go by train 🚂.

What a night out, great service, great food and a great atmosphere... we were lucky to get in but Kourtney pulled out all stops to get us seated. We will definitely be back when we visit the Daughter at Uni next.

Fun place to go for dinner, large portion sizes, a free cocktail offered on a Monday, very friendly staff and nice vibe. Lots of birthday singing and cow bell ringing so if you don't like a bit of loud it might not be for you but it's all good fun and the decor is awesome. Windows are all stained glass so you can't see in or out but it lets in a nice warm light

First time at a Smith and Western. Resturant very well themed. Server's were friendly. Capacity at around 30% full, so service was fairly fast. This is a treat restaurant in terms of spendature but would make a brilliant celebration location. Highly recommended fajitas, plenty of food to share or fill up alone. From watching other meals being served around us, there was definitely some items to pick over others in terms of looks. Car parking is slightly confusing. Just make sure you park in S&W designated spaces. Will be returning.

Absolutely love the decor and atmosphere! Everyone was really friendly and service was great. We actually got sat near the kitchen area but we are people watchers so actually quite enjoyed watching it all unfold! My burger was absolutely amazing and my partners steak was cooked perfectly! Would 100% come again!

Great themed restaurant, quick service, friendly staff, great food, parking outside, or multistorey car park across the way, right next to train station too

The food was amazing. The only downfall was how long it took to get the food. Staff were lovely. However, they did check on us a bit too much for my liking

Wow what a surprise this place was, hidden away behind the train station. Great theme restaurant with some excellent attention to detail. Staff friendly, food nice, restaurant itself could be noisy as its definatley a place for parties. Only downside was we waited a while to be served as there seemed to be one member of the team taking orders, delivering food and generally busy! One bar cowgirl and cowgirl greeter, plus a bus cowgirl. However when we did finally eat we were asked by nearly all the team if everything was OK... The restaurant is hiring so could be it was short staffed, although place wasnt that busy.. Enjoyed the place, made a lovely change... (more cowboys needed)

Not brilliant thought I was in a scene for Toy story ( kids film) with the servers in the cowboy outfits n hats . Food was average, music was too loud. But overall ideal for the younger generation at inflated prices. Better off going to McDonald's.

Really wanted to give this 5 stars but the main course let them down. The staff where amazing, appetiser set our taste buds off massive portion really tasty, the milk shake was just to creamy to heavy to rich I'm not sure if it contained milk or ice cream to us it just tasted of pure cream. We went for the t-bone stake £32 meal unfortunately mine was not edible I asked for medium rare it was barely pink and unfortunately mostly grisle bone and fat it's also a really thin cut it is advertised as 20oz but I'd say half of that is bone weight. I was offered something in exchange but to be honest it had put me off and hubby had finished his so I wouldn't want him to then sit there waiting 30 minutes for me to finish. They was kind enough not to charge us for my stake. The blue cheese stake sauce is very strong over powers the meal and pepper corn sauce lacked pepper. The bbq pulled pork on the appetiser was amazing and the sides that come with really compliment the meat. This was the winner for us.

I had my birthday lunch here recently because we love it so much. This restaurant provides for all generations and the quality of food is nothing short of sensational. The staff are all excellent and provide a customer service that is warm, friendly and above all natural. Dining at Smith & Western Chichester has always been a memorable experience that will no doubt force us to return again in the near future. A BIG thanks to everyone working there!
