Absolutely lovely little family run sanctuary with Donkeys and some goats. The tours run twice a day and it's so worth going on the tour because you get to go in the field with the donkeys and cuddle with them. There's a great little cafe that serves hot and cold drinks and food. There's a tiny ice cream parlour too. It's got a sensory room inside the cafe that's a great little addition. The gift shop has some really cute things in it and all proceeds go straight into helping take care of the animals. We absolutely love it here and have visited many times. They have events throughout the year which are fun, we did a "Sanctuary at Sunset" event where we got to spend extra time with the donkeys and even got to cuddle with the two baby donkeys.

Lovely little place very friendly lady's running the rescue sanctuary. We had a lovely time patting the donkeys and listening to each one's history. There is a small cafe n toilets accessible to pushchairs and wheelchair use except in the field where you can sit n stroke lots of donkeys..

This is a lovely place. We had a great time with these beautiful creatures and the wonderful people who run this sanctuary. The owners clearly love and care for these gentle animals. We will be coming back again, soon.

It’s so nice to be able to go to a sanctuary which is clean and has everything you need. The tour at 11:15 was heart wrenching but has totally opened my mind up. The lady who does the tour is probably one of the most inspirational mothers I’ve come across. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Lots of love to Minnie!

An amazing place to see, stroke & walk with the donkeys There is a tour to do this,we went on the 11:15 one & there is another one 2:15 I think. You hear the stories of some of them about how they were rescued & you can adopt one or as many as you like, which we did. There is a lovely cafe & an icecream parlour with indoor & outdoor seating, don't think you can take picnics A great day out for anyone who loves animals.

I've not been for a long time and Wow!! So many changes. The cafe is much bigger but has the same quality food, nothing fancy but really well done and value for money. Lovely high chairs for little ones. The sensory room was a real hit with my grandson too. The tour around the donkeys was amazing. These people do an excellent job, although it's not a job to them, it's a passion and it's easy to see how much the donkeys and other animals mean to them. It was such a lovely trip out.

This is a wonderful place to visit. The donkeys are so well looked after and deserve this happy safe haven. It was so much more than we expected. It was humbling to be close up and personal with these beautiful animals. We came out feeling happier for this unique experience. We will definitely visit again soon.

Awesome place and brilliant staff. Well worth a visit to offer support to a very worth while sanctuary. The heartbreaking stories you hear about the donkeys make you appreciate even more the effort the staff go to give the donkeys a loving and safe place to live out their lives, on the other hand it also makes you realise there are some cruel and horrible people in this world. We would be more than happy spending every day hanging out with amazing animals. There's a few goats who live there too that appear to be spend most of the time lounging on a trampoline, a couple of horses and a little cafe on site which is worth a visit. We will definitely be going back again, and I keep telling everyone I meet to go.

Really enjoyed our morning today with the donkeys. The tour was very informative and it was really interactive. We also enjoyed the sensory room and visit from Bing.

It's great to see people caring for donkeys. There's not much to do but a quick visit provides support and money to them in their important work. There's a very friendly cat waiting for you at sign in too.

Great little place doing amazing work with rescue donkeys . They are self funded so all money raised goes to the upkeep and well being of the animals. They have a lovely little cafe with a fully equipped sensory room too. Well worth supporting. A lovely day out

Excellent place to visit, take the tour so you can go on the field and play with the donkeys. Nice cafe with a great selection of food and drink, sensor room for kids to play, nice icecream parlour and little gift shop.

My autistic daughter loves visiting wonkey donkey and going on the tour with Jackie. It is really calming for her to be able to pat and cuddle the donkeys and she has sponsored one of them. The whole place is really friendly, easily accessible and welcoming and what they are doing there is admirable.

A really lovely place to visit. Family run sanctuary for these endearing animals. Heartbreaking and heartwarming human and donkey stories to hear. You can go into the donkey fields and hear their individual life story and stroke them. So good to see donkeys who have had tough lives so well cared for now. Good café and ice cream parlour too. Accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Great for all ages.

Been wanting to go for a long time, has been well worth the visit, was really quiet, and the tour was great. Been able to cuddle donkeys to my heart's content, adorable but donkeys are just great anyway. #Love Donkeys 🫏 🩷

Enjoyed this place and clearly they do great work. Did pick up they aren't a registered charity which is always a concern but the donkeys and site are both brilliant. Staff knowledgeable and entertaining. Price was steep for a small local site. £12 for adult and one child. Gift shop small but some nice things .. whilst I appreciate they need the funding a lower price would encourage more frequent visits. I'd probably call in one or twice a month at a lower rate but taking the kids and my other half would be £24 and for a short walk and view of the donkeys that's a bit high. Overall great place though.

I visited with my brother, daughter and Grandchildren. We had a fantastic time. The staff are very knowledgable about all their donkeys. Their terrible backgrounds and everything that they need to live a long and happy life. Most of the donkeys have had or are still having rehabilitation therapy. Their past was horrific and not all their scars are physical ones. However you can see that the staff here have done and continue to do an amazing job with their charges. Their stables are clean and well kept. The donkeys are well groomed and live in family groups. We were able to get up close and stroke some of the donkeys. One of the donkeys, Murphy. He allowed us to cuddle him, pet him, even massage his ears. The whole experience was fantastic. Adults and children loved it the same. All their animals are given wonderful care. The goats even have their own Trampoline. There is a small gift shop, a cafe and an ice cream parlour. We will definitely be back for lots of visits.
