    Consistently amazing chips. However there is a difference in taste from one chef to another or maybe if they source two different types of potatoes not sure. Mince and dumplings is the best I've ever had!

    Friendly staff. Good food. Good range of choice from sandwiches to meals. Cash or Card machine for payments. Popular with the local workforce. Seating inside and out plus parking available.

    I was working in the area for the week and needed somewhere for lunch, a quick search on google maps showed this place so I decided to give it a go. I’m so glad I did! Service with a smile and conversation from the women behind the counter. Prices were cheap compared to down south and the quality of the food was better than some restaurants I’ve been in. They do daily specials for lunch but get in there early to avoid disappointment as this place is popular and the specials go quickly. Plenty of parking in the car park next to the building. If I’m in the area again I will come back

    Food is fantastic here and the girls are always very friendly. I had ham salad roll with mushrooms and hash browns. The big breakfast is the go to though.

👍👍 Perfect place to stop if your going through the Tyne Tunnel. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's a Sizzling Pub so standard fare across the range, but the food is good and better quality than most chains. We ordered 10 starters on the 5 for £15 deal and it was delicious.
