With the Farm Cafe there is good quality organic food on the menu. I am trying to go on low carb diet, and this can be a miserable diet!! But their quinoa salad is actually really nice! And enjoy the food. Cheese pastry tart and fish is really good. Friendly service from all staff, covid safe precautions, local community feel and everyone is welcome. Gets very busy at lunchtime (serve lunch from 12pm to 3pm), especially the weekend. So to avoid the rush I either come early or later in that afternoon slot. Price wise you do pay a bit extra compared to other places but it is freshly cooked and good quality food. Farm Shop has local produce and good quality fruit and veg. Local farm eggs in particular are fresh & organic, and cost the same as the supermarket versions. Strawberry season just started and Claremont Farms own strawberries are brilliant. Lunch menu changes everyday so not guaranteed to get a specific dish. But normally something very good to choose from. *Edit July 2022. Brilliant breakfasts too! And Haddock Kedigree, Seabass with vegetables is getting to fine dining levels! *

Lovely place to visit especially if you like to do something different. Me and my partner went and really enjoyed wandering around picking strawberries. So I'm sure if we enjoyed it, kids will definitely enjoy. Great open space with plenty to pick so no need to be close to people! Mix it up abit and make this a place for you and your family to visit.

Wonderful food and atmosphere! I cannot recommend this place enough - lovely, welcoming staff and a warm, relaxed environment with really great food and a lovely farm shop! The new ice cream and takeaway van along with the little play house and grassy area also makes it ideal for families :)

Lovely atmosphere, lovely food... nice variety of locally sourced/ grown produce. Simple dishes done exceptionally well for a reasonable price. Great service with chatty smiling staff. Farm shop had a great selection of foods and treats, and local grown produce. There is also a small seafood shack outside that appears to have a great range of products too. Plenty of seating inside and out. Highly recommended.

Produce side of the farm is amazing. So fresh and though more expensive than supermarkets it is very much worth those extra pennies. Lovely to be able to buy fresh fish here! This is so hard to come across now. The eating/cafe part is very busy. There was quite a queue on entering but we did arrive about 1:30pm. Something to be mindful of. Food is on the slightly expensive side but the food quality is really good and portions such as sandwiches are quite large. If you are lucky to get an outside seat, the setting is lovely to enjoy some lunch. Well worth a visit.

Great breakfast here last Sunday- first time I've been for breakfast. Great menu, great food and great service. Can build your own breakfast starting with £4 for 2 eggs (poached, scrambled, or fried) then add other items for around £1 each. Breakfast in the photo cost £7.30 and was delicious and perfect. Look forward to returning soon. 🙂

Locations is great on a sunny day. However, my Eggs Benedict was over done, the eggs were hard and the hollandaise was more of a butter sauce. I can't recommend this if you want a nice hollandaise sauce and eggs that are perfectly runny. Service could be better. Nobody asked how are food was when getting the bill or thanked us for our custom.

The food here is always fresh and delicious, with a really good selection to choose from. Next to the restaurant is the large farm shop which sells all kinds of high quality produce. Lovely place to go for lunch, especially in the warmer months when you can sit in the lawn area to eat.

Good quality fresh food grown on site. The butcher has really good quality meat. There are other things available from further afield but most stock is locally sourced, including alcohol and honey. They also have a selection of echo friendly cleaning products and a lovely cafe on site for a cup of tea and a slice of cake.

Such an amazing place to visit, we had lunch, gorgeous food, great friendly staff, visited the farm shop, amazing selection of food to buy, and to top it off, we met Pepsi and Shirley, the large pigs outside. Highly recommended. 😁😁

Visited a fabulous vintage car festival there yesterday. Gorgeous cars, well organised parking for visitors and a very busy farm shop and cafe. Missing one star in review as they could have had more variety re the food provision especially for vegetarians/vegans, as we struggled to find anything savoury to snack on.

Always a lovely experience whenever we come, the food is delicious and the portions are just right. Welcoming staff and atmosphere, with the perfect mix of Café and Farm Shop if you fancy buying high quality local ingredients too. (I always love a dog friendly place too!)

We went for something to eat here, 3 of the employees were lovely, but 2 others (the lady and young man who were both working inside the cafe) were rude when seating us and when we were ordering food. Even though 3 of the employees gave us good customer service, and were apologetic when they couldn't accommodate us, the other 2 ruined it for us with their rude behaviour. We were all really disappointed with our experience there, we won't be going back there and we would recommend others to avoid.

Lovely surroundings with indoor and outdoor seating. Exceptionally friendly staff who offer excellent customer service with a smile. . Good food at reasonable prices and nice cake but let down by astronomically priced coffee.. £260 +60p for oat milk + 50p decaf = £3.90. My friend and I meet every week and have tried most places on the Wirral. We have never before been charged almost £4 for a small coffee. A large coffee is extra on top of this! Usual price for regular decaff with oat milk is £2.80. It’s a shame because in all other aspects, this is a great place to visit.

Don't know if they were short staffed when I took my mother for lunch, there was a male member of staff whose attitude was quite short when I asked how I go about ordering after being seated for 20 minutes, but the food we ordered was fantastic couldn't fault it, shame about the service though.

The staff themselves are usually okay, but the service that is provided is shocking. The cafe is very poorly managed, and they don't seem to have time to seat customers, so leave a queue of people standing at the door when there's loads of empty tables. Then it takes them so long to take your order, some people just get up and leave. I've stopped going now as there's so much unnecessary waiting round. The food is nice, but not worth the outrageous price.

One of my favourite places to have lunch on the Wirral, food always fresh and delicious. The farm shop is not cheap but always high quality.

As farm shops go, this one is fairly average. There's not much local produce - a lot of fruit and veg is from overseas - and the selection of bought-in items is rather mundane. Prices are really high though, so why pay through the nose for something that can be purchased for a lot less at a local supermarket - especially when the environmental impact is much the same.

I had a lovely time with work colleagues today. It’s great to eat local, seasonal and always with high quality ingredients. Thank you to Claremont staff, especially Sue and Gaynor, for their wonderful service.

When I came to visit this place I was expecting a chilled and relaxed experience. To what I imagine a farm shop / cafe experience to be. I was met with quite hostility and to be quite honest I felt as though I wasn’t even wanted there as a customer. When I came to order my food / drinks I felt rushed and as though they wanted me out as soon as I got in. The staff were so rude and as though they were done with their jobs. I was not met with any passion or enthusiasm for the products of the foods in store or even food in the restaurant let alone any enthusiasm for me being there as a customer. What a shame it could be a really amazing place.. despite the stinking attitude that is run there.

Had lovely brunch meal, little dearer than some places (£25 for 2 people), but quality of ingredients/food was delicious. Can get quite busy, book ahead if you want guaranteed table n time. Farm shop next door had some locally produced items in. Often have events on to.

Visited yesterday afternoon (30/9) waited to be seated even though there were staff chatting together. They knew we'd come for coffee and cake but failed to bring us the cake board, I had to got to the counter to see and even placed my order there. Asked for extra hot latte it came luke warm. Attitude of all the staff seemed lack lustre and not friendly at all. Won't be back soon

Poor experience for Sunday breakfast. I had been once before with dog and had been served in outside area on normal plates and cutlery with no problem . Tied large dog up well away from other diners / children/ food as although dogs are welcome in covered deck area there are no strong attachment points and she would have been a nuisance ( teenage work in progress). I was informed I could not have a cooked breakfast only takeaway ciabatta sausage or bacon....all very officiously. I asked for a well done bacon ....which came literally cremated ( quite possibly as a childish retribution for me being visibly annoyed at being refused a breakfast on account of trying to be considerate to other diners) . The food came in plastic packaging....lovely....this with cardboard coffee cost over £9 .., There did not seem to be any discount for takeaway Vs normal service. I certainly did not enjoy it. All in all a Jobs worth experience.

I visited Claremont Farm for the first time this week and was very impressed with the shop. I found the prices to be reasonable enough that I ended up doing my weekly shop. I managed to get everything I needed apart from coffee beans, as I didn’t see any (but might have missed them). The meat selection at the butchers counter was fantastic, and the fresh produce was the best I’ve seen in a while. A lovely selection of quality snacks and treats available too.

Lovely place that also hosts dogs. Beautiful walking area that dogs can run on the fields and then we can have a nice coffee and meal in the lovely cafe ❤️

Lovely setting and would have been fantastic to use the function room. There is absolutely no disabled access to their function room and bar. Very disappointed that they don't consider this when advertising weddings etc. 15 steps for a wheelchair user is not possible and they don't hire out the downstairs room which does have level access.

Popped in this morning with a friend, lovely cafe. Friendly staff, option to sit either outdoors or inside. Good selection of food on the menu, will be back again for sure. We'll worth a visit.

Had a very delicious breakfast in the restaurant with my daughter. Arrived at 10am and it was already busy. Staff pleasant and helpful. My eggs Benedict were delicious and cooked perfectly. Popped into the farm shop which is stocked with lots of goodies. I treated myself to some peaches and some extra large eggs both reasonably priced. Definitely will be returning.

Kids had a great time at The Wildlings. Playing in the mud and toasting marshmallows on the little camp fire.
