A brilliant place for kids to learn about dangers. It even has a shop you can use to teach young people about daily life.

I used to go to the Lucky Star which is roughly opposite on the same road, as that restaurant used to be excellent. But felt that we would try this Magic Taste House for a change, and we all enjoyed the food. Will go back.

Cheap and large in size But still different to the original roasted duck and pork rice I always ate in Hong Kong

They don't do the all you can eat anymore - even though it is still advertised on their menu online and in their window. Just writing this to give people a heads up.

Totally different prices for the same dishes on English and Chinese menus 🙃🙃

Decent food at a good price, What's not to like?

Unlimited hotpot with unlimited drinks for £14! Great value. All of the hot pot ingredients are the standard, but their fish stands out.

Ordered food from here, food was cold and unfresh, seemed as if it was leftovers from the night before. Meat was not nice at all and some dishes were so salty or didn’t have any taste.

Very good quality food and the service is great, I've been going there for a few months now and would highly recommend going there.

Brilliant value for money! Only £6.80 and you can get soup/soft drink with a very large portion of rice or noodles (spicy or not you should ask). Anywhere else it might have costed from £25-50. All in all 4 people ate £28 and there was like 50% leftover. Great service.

The best Chinese food we (2 people) have ever had. The restaurant is plain and quite dated, but the food was delicious, the green beans in special sauce, with meat were a revelation! and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely go back

Completely inedible, tasted incredibly weird. Have had to bin the entire lot. Curry sauce is water and the crispy chicken not cooked correctly. Soggy and tiny portion of salt and pepper fries. Absolute waste of money

Overall the food was tasty. We did have to wait an hour for the food from the lunch menu to be delivered, and had to remind them that 2 of the 4 of us hadn't got food after 50 minutes. Decor needs a bit of work - it was modernized, but it's getting tattered in places, and not being maintained.

Great food but a word of warning - Do Not Pay by card when eating in. Potential scam. I've been a couple of times and had just noticed (as the shop keeper refused to show me) through my account that the restaurant charged me the £3 everytime for using their machine. Absolute extortion and no warning

Not a great selection of vegan products available, a few veggie options. Won't accept card payments for eating in or takeaway and not stated on window or door so make sure you take cash!!
