I used Bredbury ATS in May 2023 for a regas of air conditioning. It worked for 2 days and then stopped blowing cold air. I spoke to an air con specialist who advised that although ATS don’t do air con repairs, they should’ve pressure tested first and that should’ve picked up on any leaks before completing the regas and he advised me to approach ATS for a refund given how quickly it stopped working. I followed this advice but Bredbury ATS were uninterested in helping and despite the rapid leak and their regas only lasting a period of days they were not willing to refund or regas again.

Inflated the new tyre to 1.6bar recommend was 2.6bar, could have caused premature wear and failure. A real safety fail!!

Took our car in for Annual Service and MOT 3 days ago working perfectly. Since getting the car back, car has broken down 3 times and can't make it to the end of the road. Manager at Bredbury is lying and claims the car already had a misfire when it was brought in. If that is the case, why were we not informed when you rang to say the brakepads need changing? (work that we approved to be done). Nothing to state this issue on the vehicle health check received via email other than a mention of the spark plug for no apparent reason. Manager stated on the phone, "There is no way we are taking responsibility", without even looking at the car. Opened a complaint with head office but takes up to 7 working days to resolve so left without a car in the meantime. Trading Standards case opened and a load of messing for us. Avoid if you value your time and vehicle.

Excellent service, called in today and they were busy but the lady who I spoke to managed to fit me in and repair my tyre and best of all it was free because I insured the tyre when it was fitted previously. Thanks 👍🏻

Very professional set up, had a free inspection regarding exhaust, found the fault and made appointment to do the job. Arrived on time the job was done. Very friendly courteous staff and left in just a hour. Great job, great service. Thank you

Rang to get the dates of work completed on a vehicle we had bought and they wrongly quoted they were unable to give them due to GDPR. Head Office agreed there were no GDPR implications but refused to help further.

Great guys did a great job of the MOT and repairs on my van. 👍

If I could give them zero stars I would - absolutely disgusting customer service by the 'manager' who is rude and speaks to customers disgustingly, had my 2 children and sat waiting for hours on end past my appointmented time to register my air con - which blew slightly cold for 2 days and that was it.. luckily the weather changed i then didn't use it anyway but when I wanted to again it wasn't cold at all 😠 I'D STAY AWAY - no help from manager above the vile man in store either, so gave up emailing

I've always used ATS @ Bredbury for many years for their first class customer service and keen prices, This visit was no different from Damien booking me in and locating a not so common tyre to Jack fitting and billing it, Fast and friendly service, 10/10

MOT today. Good service. Ready when said. Friendly helpful staff. There were 2 opportunities for them to plausibly eek out extra work to be done but no, they gave me advisories and good advice. And a free additive for diesel fuel. I will go back when stuff needs doing.

When I tried to drop in with a tyre issue they said they were fully booked and to book online. Next appointment available was in 3 days time.

Excellent service from ATS Bredbury. Brought my car in for it's MOT. They got straight on with the job and were quick and efficient. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional and offered great advice. Will be using again. Thanks! :D

Have used this company a couple of times now and the service has been very good with excellent time keeping.

Had four tyres fitter at this branch by Jack. I was in an older car, but it could have been a brand new Rolls-Royce as I felt that I was looked after as if I was a VIP. Managers take note, Jack is a great asset to your company. He gives service with a smile. Excellent advice and he's very enthusiastic and definitely a future branch or regional manager in the making.

Melissa was brilliant. Had ongoing problems with a tyre and nothing was too much trouble.

Took my money but didn't have the tyres I ordered, nor did they know when they could get them. Instead tried to upsell.

Wow… extremely dissatisfied, put a tyre on when I didn’t give them permission, then hastily took it off, without trying to resolve it, fitter had a absolute meltdown, swearing, wouldn’t give me his name, ask a colleague who also wouldn’t give his name. Have used them for 10 years, as does my company but will not use them again. You don’t expect this service from a reputable company.. damaging

I booked in on Good Friday afternoon with what I thought would be a new rear passenger side tyre as I had a large nail through the side wall. The reason I am posting this review is to thank the honesty of the staff at Bredbury, could easily have carried out a repair or replaced the tyre but after testing all OK and on my way Thanks again and will recommend to all in need of repair/replace tyres. Always great service. It's a chain but how you'd imagine a local garage to be run - friendly and efficient, as well as honest and competitive on price.

Phoned this place up but got no reply,so drove up there knowing they were open ,asked the man behind counter if he could fit the tyres I had chosen of there web site for the price I was qoated and he said no because the online price was cheeper than he was able to do them for,he said go on line and pay on line and book in a time with them and it would not be a problem. Just wish the online site could of told me this.othere than this no problem with the company.😁

Dealt with Mel who was swift, professional and practical. Been before and will definitely be returning. Trustworthy, which is particularly important as a woman going for car repairs etc. Damo was very helpful too.

Been here 3 or 4 times now. Never actually had any work done and always left disappointed. They've either not had time to do the work when I've left it with them or simply deliver really poor customer service. I feel like they're doing me a favour when I ask for a job doing. And then quoting nearly £120 to change a couple of tyres (which will bought in with me) was expensive to say the least. My advice is go to a more local tyre fitter. The national brands seem overpriced and care little about the customer.

I came here with an offer for air con recharge via Groupon. Mel, Steve and all the staff were excellent. I had a minor issue which Mel very kindly resolved for me without question. Impeccable service, with a great host of workers running a very welcoming garage.

Had my tyres fitted here as part of the Michelin deal. Only issue is it took over an hour to fit. Luckily Morrisons is next to it for a brew.

Brilliant customer service and great value for money. I had a bit of difficulty getting through to the centre on the phone but Melissa contacted me via email and ammended my booking. She is very polite, good-natured and explained clearly what the service would include. Melissa and her team went above and beyond with their after-care and were very apologetic about a minor delay. It was quite refreshing to have such open and friendly staff who are genuinely customer not sales minded. I'll definitely be returning to this ATS for my next service.
