Ok experience, not too bad a wait time. Came to be told by a nurse (she was lovely) that my damage to my shoulder was muscular.. when I went to a&e 3 days later I had an x-ray to find it was actually fractured. Now in a sling for 3 weeks. Would have been solved sooner with an X-ray on the day of my visit to UTC though. Nice staff nonetheless.

Came there all stressed out, couldn't believe how friendly and polite the staff was. It felt like I came to the SPA salon, not a walk in hospital))) The lady on the reception was extremely helpful and the nurse I saw seemed to make more sense than the last few doctors I've seen before! Another bonus was that it was not busy at about after 5pm! Very pleased with my visit.

This is the second time I’ve visited Ripley UTC, both times because I’d broken something and both times the service has been amazing! They are unbelievably efficient, within 15 minutes I’d seen a HCA and a nurse and was awaiting my X-ray which also happened within a very short space of time and reviewed and sent home all strapped up! Staff were friendly, helpful and is really a service the nhs should be proud of and really helping to keep pressure of our A&Es! Honestly worth going out of your way for even if A&E is closer, it’s much quicker and can save A&E for the real emergencies!

I used to visit this walk in centre all the time and they’ve always been fab. I attended on Christmas Day with a badly swollen eye and I walked into the treatment centre crying in pain. I kept explaining to the nurses that my lower eyelid was hurting. Both nurses continued to sit in their chairs and look at me and say ‘it’s a stye put a flannel on it ‘ . No one looked in my eye or checked my vision or anything! A day later I attended a different walk in centre and I’ve been told I have a cyst in my eye and I’ve been referred to hospital! Don’t come here

I had reason to attend the Urgent Treatment centre twice this week. On both occasions I noticed that, without exception, staff allowed the doors to slam rather than shutting them quietly. Much easier for the staff but not very good when waiting up to 90 minutes to be seen. I did not see any of the chairs being disinfected after use. This compared very unfavourably when I had my covid vaccine at Babington when each chair was disinfected immediately after it was vacated. I could not find anywhere on the internet to make these comments whereby action would be taken. If anyone in autgority is reading this could they please pass them on to someone in authority.

Amazing service, speedy, courteous and most important knowledgable. Friendly from reception till the nurses. I was in and out in under 20 minutes, got the medication I needed and already felt better knowing they found the cause. As an added bonus they guessed my accent in the first attempt ! Dutch indeed and not American. NHS rocks !

Go here for my bloods, usually very quick, not too many people and staff seem to be on the ball. I've also been a couple of times to the walk in when I couldn't get a doctors appointment and was seen quickly, no fuss and they didn't make me feel like I was wasting anyone's time. Put my mind at ease I have somewhere I can go when it's impossible to get an appointment at my doctors surgery.

I got really poorly with a chest infection on Saturday night. Went to Ripley Hospital on the Sunday morning. The help and treatment I received was outstanding. From the reception staff to the two nurses (J and J) who diagnosed and prescribed medicine for me. Professionalism, kindness and dedication. Thank you so much.

We were advised to visit Ripley hospital after my partner had a fall on holiday and injured her wrist. The injury was assessed by a paramedic called Stuart. He was amazing, thorough, and professional, accurately diagnosed the injury and suggested an x-ray the following day. The x-ray did indeed show a fracture in the wrist and Stuart promptly made an appointment at the fracture clinic. The whole process was extremely positive and swiftly dealt with. Thank you Stuart (and all of the staff) Linda Farrar
