First time visiting at the weekend and I will definitely be back again! Everything was lovely from the welcoming staff, food and atmosphere. Visited for dinner, we both had 3 courses each as it was a special occasion and felt like treating ourselves & out bellies. Each plate was packed with plenty of yummy food to fill us up fit to burst! No lie I wanted to nap there on the chair at the end of my desert haha. Friendly and polite staff, quick attentive service. I'd recommend to anyone to try this lovely place out.

Had dinner at The Blair last Friday, and it was excellent. I had the spicy chicken enchilada with the Belgian waffles to follow, delicious.

Highly recommend the Chicken Tempura, it was a perfect portion and the batter was just right. Comes served with Hoisin sauce and a salad with a dressing on it. It all works very well together! For my main course I ate the Chicken Skewers from the Grill section. Quite tasty and I cannot complain about the portion size, however I think there was slightly too much sweet chilli sauce as I felt sick after so much of it all over the dish. It comes with a small saucer of sweet chilli sauce anyway so I feel this was unnecessary. My Transylvanian colleague had the Scottish Burger and with it haggis for the first time. He said it was "super👌". Overall a really nice dining experience with the beautiful surroundings and spotless and well decorated interior topped off with friendly staff. I highly recommend this place! Thank you!

One of my favourite eateries. I love the setting of the Blair and inside is so cosy. The food is delicious with good sized portions and a good selection of dishes. Staff are really friendly too. Book in advance as it is always busy and quite rightly so.

First class service from friendly and efficient staff. Very extensive menu and reasonably priced considering the quality. Wine was excellent and again good value.

Have been coming to the blair for over 10 years, and tonight we had a lovely evening celebrating dual birthdays (party of 7). Went to The Blair for the first time tonight. It was fantastic from the moment we entered the restaurant till we left. The food was beyond delicious and the cocktail were perfect. Thank you for such a perfect evening

The Blair has a lovely atmosphere that instils nostalgia, but its cosy charm is backed with delicious food and excellent service. The portions are substantial, so be aware when ordering. I chose the chicken Maryland from their daily specials, and it was everything I remembered from my youth. You do need a car to get there, but it's nestled in the Ayrshire countryside, which makes for a lovely trip there and back.

Great cosy restaurant, I’ve been coming here for years! Food is great & worth the 45 minutes commute each time.

My husband had a birthday and what better place to go! We hadn't been for ages but it didn't disapoint! The food was delicious 😋 and generous too! Lovely staff, and I recognised one lady who has been there for years! Lovely to see her.

This is such an amazing, homely, perfect restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff are all lovely and we couldn't have asked for better service. I was there last night and enjoyed it that much I've booked again for my partners birthday meal on Friday. Highly recommended and you'll never be disappointed.

The Blair is well worth a visit,, absolutely fantastic food,, beautiful surroundings inside and out,, great atmosphere and brilliant service,so much so that we're having our wedding meal there later in the year. Visited recently for a birthday treat, and what a treat it was. The service, food, and ambience of the restaurant were second to none. On arrival, the log fire was well llite, which provided a welcoming cosy feel and warmth on a chilly night. We received a lovely welcome and were seated immediately, The staff were warm and friendly, and the service we received throughout was top class. The choice on the menu was brilliant. Additionally, we were also provided with a chefs special menu, which I myself ordered from (oatmeal coated chicken breast,stuffed with haggis and served with seasonal veg, mash, and peppercorn sauce) definately recommend!! The food arrived approximately 20-25 minutes after ordering, which I personally think is brilliant for freshly cooked dishes of this quality. The dishes were really good-sized portions.... without doubt, value for money. The presentation of all the dishes was great, and the food tasted absolutely delicious!!! The food and service we received from start to finish were faultless. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit. We will definitely be back soon. A huge thank you to you all for a most enjoyable dining experience!!

We had an excellent meal at the Blair. The restaurant was very busy but the service was excellent. The menu is comprehensive with a great range of dishes. The portions were large, and the food was very tasty. Something a bit different. We had Lamb Tagine and Chicken Skewers. Delicious! We would highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back.

Brilliant for a family meal out. The perfect mix of fancy and casual. Lovely food, generous portions, friendly staff, good gluten free options on a separate menu. Even gluten free chips, done in a separate fryer. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere, but it can be a little noisy when it is busy, but only a little bit.

I am back at the Blair Kilwinning and once again and my family and I had another really great experience. Wonderful food from a great chef and kitchen and good friendly service from the front of house staff. Overall a deserved five star performance and as I said before I will definitely recommend The Blair to anyone else and will also be back again. Back at the Blair Kilwinning and once again had a wonderful dinner, service once again was first class food was stunning and the server Alex was top drawer, very professional and friendly. I will always be happy to go back there. Five stars 🌟 every time.

Booked a family dinner for 10. Welcomed on arrival, table ready & covid measures in place. Great selection of food & drinks on offer from menu, something to suit everyone. Attentive staff, great service & great food in a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.
