This really is a great cruise. Very informative commentary as you sail around Loch Lomond. The day we had went was rainy and foggy however the boat had plenty warm covered seating available. The boat is spotlessly clean, bar is well stocked and the young men working the boat are knowledgeable and very helpful. My toddler absolutely loved this as well as the teenagers. I would return if in the area.

I went along with my son family and we enjoyed a lot during the cruise period of 2 hours ride. Beautiful scenic views and enjoyed guide narrating the places of importance. The cruise have a cafe on board and good seating was arranged for tourist to have a spectacular view. A memorable trip we had. Tickets are booked in advance so that we can't miss the trip 👍

Beautiful scenic boat trip. Fair price. Friendly on board. We enjoyed it. Only downside... had an Ice Cream at Sweeneys 'booking hut with ice cream sales'. Cost me £3.50 for two scoops of vanilla ice cream (no cone either!)...just came in a tiny tub.

The 2 hour, Island Discovery Tour was amazing. We had tickets for the Wednesday and needed to change them at the last minute for the next day. They were very happy to help and it was no bother at all. The trip itself was beautiful and there was a snack bar on board too with flapjacks, coffee, tea, and spirits. We had glorious weather but even without it would have been worth it. There is ample comfy seating and some spaces outside for sitting or standing in front and back of boat. All the staff were nice, and we saw all the cleaning and safety measures they took in between excursions as we had arrived a bit early and saw the earlier tour arrive back. I hope to return to Loch Lomond and Balloch someday and if we do, we will go on another Sweeney’s tour!

We had a lovely time on the 1hr cruise. A nice, gentle way to see some of the sights on the loch. I've visited Loch Lomond numerous times but this is the first time I'd been sightseeing on the loch and I'm so glad I did it. We also got to see the seaplane landing and taking off, which was cool, and unexpected! As for the boat itself, I have limited mobility and was slightly concerned about access and where I'd be able to sit. Thankfully, there was a ramp onto the boat and the stairs to the top deck were just normal stairs. Although even if they had been steep there was plenty of seating downstairs. We didn't need the bar, or the toilet but it was good to know they were. Overall, a lovely afternoon trip!

During road trip from UK to Scotland - we stopped here and took a ride. The ride was almost on time - we didn’t have to wait for the boarding. The boat was spacious and everyone could move around easily - it was not overcrowded- all passengers could get the freedom to move, click photos and enjoy the ride. The route taken boat was also good and having scenic beauty of nature. The boat was equipped with separate toilets for ladies and gents… the boat had the front deck - the back deck, the covered seating area and separate cafe cum bar. The bar and cafe was also fairly priced. I tried latte during the ride and that coffee was amazing. The crew was also humble and supportive. Must take this 60 minutes ride if you are in Scotland.

Highly recommend this fabulous voyage on the Loch. The scenery is amazing. The boat itself was clean, comfortable. A very smooth ride for 2 hours. The staff was efficient and pleasant. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were available. Tickets were available at the site but I ordered my tickets online, which was easy. I received helpful email reminders.

Booked a 1 hour cruise as a combination ticket with Sea Life Loch Lomond. We chose the first option of the day that left at 10:15. On arrival there is a free car park, which had plenty of spaces at about 10am, but when we left after our cruise spaces were sparse. Really easy to get on board, the person at the boat had us down on their list so we boarded and decided to sit on the back of the upper deck. The boat soon filled up with a couple of coach parties, so I'm glad we got there a little early to beat them to better seats. The cruise around the loch was accompanied by a narration, which was just the right amount of information without overwhelming you. What can I say about the Loch itself? Beautiful. We visited on a very sunny day in August and it was fantastic. Well worth doing and one of the highlights of my trip to Scotland. I would also highly advise visiting the shops/sea life centre which is a few mins drive away. There is a great observation platform at the top of the sea life centre.

I took the 2 hour tour of Loch Lomond and I wish it was even longer. It went along at a great pace, and the staff was incredible. The commentary was great, but I have to say the person working behind the bar knew SO much! He was so helpful. Also - purchase the delicious shortbread on the boat. The employee behind the counter told me his aunt made it, and I thought he was joking. Turns out it’s very true and honestly it is the best shortbread I’ve tasted all through Scotland. You can pick it up at the Wallace Monument as well 😍

Amazing 2hr trip , We went for Island cruise. As big water sports fan I was convinced that Loch Lomond can't suprise me anymore ,but I was wrong. We did discover new areas , and some old ones. It's Breathtaking Experience, even we are Loch Lomond veterans. And I will happily do it again , especially with Bar on lower deck being open trough whole trip. 5star Experience.

Lovely scenery, BUT if you want to actually enjoy the cruise, show up early to grab a seat at the front of the ship, otherwise you will be joining the drunken fools who mutinously take over the boat making it their private booze-cruise for the 2 hours. The captain admitted that has become a tradition for the evening cruise. : / Once we discovered our error and made it to the stern, we were able to enjoy in peace the gorgeous scenery and pleasant audio recording from Neil Oliver. Dog friendly and kid friendly apart from the drunks too!

Great little cruise. Just enough around an hour to loom around for me. Seen loch lomond for years from the banks but never got to go through it. Really nice day and plenty of room. More than enough life jackets and rings for everyone aboard if you're worries are there.

Nice 2 hour guided cruise with a bar and friendly staff. Free parking next to the pier. It’s best to book directly through them. I’d highly recommend for a fun and educational experience. They had indoor seating and places to stand outdoors if you prefer that.

Cruising around the lake was was nice. The boat wasn't busy and we had plenty of space to take some nice pictures. Watching all those castles by the lake with all the descriptions coming from the speaker was quite a historical experience

We visited Loch Lomond and booked the 2 hours Cruise tour. It was our first time an were surprised about all the beauty and sightseeing from the boat. Even if you've been here, it's a lovely visit around on board. Don't hesitate 😊 There's also a cafe to fetch beverages and toilets on board. Friendly staff. Thanks again

Friendly staff and background commentary(recorded) was informative during the cruise ride. It got chilly upstairs after few minutes but they also have enclosed spaces with view. There’s cafe onboard which serves coffee, drinks and snacks with reasonable prices. Incredible one hour cruise .

We got the tickets online a couple of hours before the tour. The boat departure site is very close to the Ballock train station, makes it very convenient if you go there by public transport. We went on the one hour boat trip and it was fantastic! The landscape and the serenity around it was amazing. We were quite lucky with the weather, turned out to be sunny and less windy on a February day. The boat was very clean and there was a narration about the different sites along the tour. Loch Lomond is a must visit for anyone visiting Scotland!

Booked last minute and absolutely loved it! The weather looked like it wouldn’t cooperate but cleared up to great views. The guide was full of wonderful info about the area and the loch itself. Only downside was the hour flew by! Would gladly go again in different seasons, and definitely suggesting to friends and family that are looking for an adventure a short train ride out of Glasgow.
